Wasn't happy when we were linked with hm when Eck was in charge. Not happy now. Not a great scoring record. History of injuries. Couldn't settle in Britain before although it was in extreme circumstances. Watched teh first minute or two of that clip. Doesn't seem to "go like a rocket" to me. Not slow, but in the goal andy picked out he hardly accelerated away from those defenders. As he's signed though I wont make a decision until he dons the light blue.

On watching the highlights on Scotsport (well I had to for once) really enjoyed the Hutton "incident". Am I right in thinking it comes not long after Naylor tried to assault Novo, which scotsport glossed over largely whislt highlighting this. Naylor and another mmhank trying to rough Novo up, Hutton steam in, wins the ball and smacks Naylor at the smae time. Naylor gets in his face, then JvoH, Miller and Lennon. All get the same response "fuck off". Excellent from Hutton, sticking up for his team mate, and not backing down to any of the mhanks. Great fighting spirit. Harshly booked imo, went for a ball that was there to be won and got it. But got two mhanks booked in the process. Quickly becoming my favourite player, although I was one of few who was supportive earlier on this season and previous ones.

Well hopefully Lennon and Sebo get at least half an hour too.

No problems with the above. However i'd prefer to play teh bigger teams. How about going down south to play, to thank all the fans who travel up from there? Cammy makes a good point, I think part of the reason I have little interest in Linfield games (even though my uncle tells me its a good weekend away) is the monotony of it. Playing another N.I team would acheive the same aim but be a bit more interesting.

I understand that it's good to go over and play a game there sometimes as many fans travel from there. But many travel from England or even other countries like Holland too. Personally I'd rather play some more attractive pre-season games, such as the Ajax and Chelsea ones we have this year. We have to get a Hamburg or Utrecht one soon, woudl enjoy that. As a neutral wanting to see some summer football whilst the proper football is on would want to watch Rangers - Linfield. I know there's not much of a market in this respect, but during a non-World Cup summer I like to catch the odd game if its decent teams. I can imagine neutrals watching Arsenals tournament this year. Getting involved in something like this would allow us to prepare properly for a new season and play some exciting games at teh same time bringing greater money and interest into the club.

No disagreements Cammy and buster, but I wasn't trying to say that people can't expect more of players. Just from a personal point of view i'm very happy he scored against the hooped horrors. Good analogy with Hutton. You may have noticed all along i've stuck up for Hutton as I saw he had ability and know he's gone from whipping boy to a favourite of many fans.

Anyone got early online editions as Frankie managed with Speirs article. I always like to know how the papers saw the games, but with most of them printing lies about the club i've not bought one in an age and would like to keep that going. Player ratings I always find particularly interesting, do they put these online?

I like the wee video of Adam's goal from behind the goal. You see Boruc telling the wall to jump and apparently in his post match interview Adam says he saw this and drilled it under. Very clever play, like a couple of the Hibs free kicks. Imagine if the Jap had scored that one.
