At least we are not that bad!!

I feel Aberdeen will stick 3 or 4 past Utd as they played there game of the 2 month period last week. As for the rest, agree. Although I hope ICT leave some space as we looked a little inept during the week.

The issue with all the central and eastern European countries is that they are all Catholic countries. They do not get the fact that coming to Britain it is a total change of perspective in terms of where Christianity is coming from. It is the same for all foreign nationals coming to live here, they just don't get that we are different in so many ways. But of course it is not acceptable to be British these days. You have to accept the ways of these people and damn the ways that made this country great. Personally I think he is a religious bigot in the way only the Eastern Block can be. And this old school catholic mentality is playing to the bitter side within the C****c support. This will also in turn play to our own band of merry idiots. The thing is, the support of the Mhanks with the knuckle dragging attitude is growing. With these so called anti heroes they are finding a false and negative voice. So he hates Rangers, but gentlemanly conduct on the field of play in any sport is paramount and he has proven himself to be worthy of nothing but disgust. Again I would urge us all - The Rangers family not to lower to this type of hypocracy. He is a little boy with alot of personal issues... The biggest one being he is a total fcuking pr1ck!!! lol

They are looking superb. Getting rid of Henry has opened up the team. It was all about him, and now it is the whole team. Hope they win the title in England.

What is it now - Played 16 away games: Lost 15 Draw 1 Superb!

"This may sound utterly mental, and as I cant believe that I am typing it, but was I the only one who thought that we were going to sneak it in the last 10 minutes?" Certainly not old bean. If wee Nacho had flung himself at the cross he would probably have got something on it. And Big Daniel should have burst the onion bag. But I was happy with a draw before the game, and I am happy with one after.

10 out of ten for one man - Hutton... all the rest get 9 1/2
-
Sir Hutton completely shut out Henry. 10 out of 10.

He was sold out by Real, made to sit it out and then they needed him to save there season - which he did. He has gone there for his family. Pure and simple. They are made for life. And when he hangs his boots up he won't be a washed up pr1ck like Best was, he will be rolling in it with Posh, and his kids will never have to work a day. Good luck to him. On a side note, 3 months at the Gers from Jan to Mar would be nice!

Agree with you Gribz... Really want to be in the finals next year and I hope we beat the Italians. It will be extremely hard, but it can be done.

Sorry for my late entry into the discussion. I can see points from all sides etc etc. The one and only real major factor in the religious divide in Scotland that seperates us from the mould of other European countries is a simple one. We are (The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) the only Protestant country out of them all. It is the minority telling the majority what to do - that rings a bell with Apartheid in S.A. Seperate schooling - Apartheid? There is definately a theme running through it all.

Absolutely fantastic game, we played some outstanding footie. Had a wee bit of a wobble but got the 3rd. We must fight to the death for 3 points in Georgia. I really think we can go there and win. Italy will be the biggy. Well done Big Eck and the boys.

Double standards and this makes Uefa a laughing stock.

Unfortunately Cammy I can see it being swept under the carpet again. I saw a clip of Quimm on the tv and he said quite unashamedly " you can't blame C****c for the actions of 1 person" Quite how this man is allowed to continue with this Mhedia buffoonery is beyond me. The Mhedia cannot stand back - as they always seem to do - this time. Action and blame must fall directly at CFC and no one else. Yes Dida was a diddy but the issue is not about him being slapped by a fan and him going down like Jon C on his boyfriend... The issue is the fan invading the pitch, and his assault (albeit a wee slap) on a football player on the field of play. Quimm is a master at the "defence via the press" bollox and they will probably get a small fine, and the fan will get a season ticket for life..

So being an Atheist are you an Implicit or Explicit in your beliefs. Religious intolerance has been around for Millenia, and it is this shove it in your face attitude that has apparently caused all the problems. Bands playing music in the street as they march along - in your face religion - not good. Blessing yourself on the field of play - apparently you are saying that is perfectly fine. It is not. It is not intolerant to ask someone to keep there religion to themselves. Yes, every year have your parades and whatever - and then be done with it for the rest of the year to allow life to be lived.

The reason a sign of the Roman Church is so offensive is that in what we have in Scotland - all and sundry are rounding on Rangers on singing offensive "party tunes". Now they can be seen as religious and as such are being stopped. Now the Blessing of ones self is strictly a Religious thing and it is strictly offensive to any non Roman Catholic as it is a sign of there following of the False Church of Rome. This in itself to any proud Atheist should be an afront. Besides, as I said this is a Protestant nation. Why should we put up with it. I can guarentee any flute mimicking in Dublin would not be, and the flute is hardly a Religious instrument. Religious intolerance on all sies is quite apparent, so why not keep the Religious side of your life private and behind closed doors?

BC2, it is nice to see the other side can actually come on here and speak with some level of maturity and sense. Of course I said some... I do believe Boruc to be a very good keeper, but arrogance is begining to show him up a little.. Schmeichel was good enough to do it, but Art ain't. As fir there being very few places on the planet to find blessing ones self offensive why does it surprise anyone in a Protestant country that it is offensive to the majority of people who live there.? In my eyes religion and sport have no place beside each other. Why do players HAVE to bless themselves when taking to the field, or when they score? Of course people can have there faith and they are welcome to it (no matter how blind you have to be to believe in God, Allah etc etc..) but it should never be in a place of public viewing where it could cause offence. Is that such a " bigotted thing" to ask? I would also add that the reason behind there being very few places in the world where blessing ones self is not offensive: The Church of Rome gave orders to countries such as Spain, France and Portugal to go forth and discover countries and urn them to Catholicism. If the indigenous people did not take up the offer, they were to kill them as heretics and devil worshippers. Thus Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Central America and most of Central Africa. So a little bigotry these days is better than massacre in the name of God isn't it... oh that is on both sides as I am sure you will agree!

It will be the Real Madrid that plays at Fir Park whenever we are there that will turn up. Should win though.... although I seem to remember that the same Real team turned up at Swinecastle a couple of weeks ago... Cnuts.

Penalty was a disgrace... Saha should be given a ban for that..

What about Hertz keeper "Henry Henry drop the ball" Smith. A worthy graduate of the Dropsie College

"they have been probably the worst looking team in the league up until now" Watch out for the Real Madrid team that turns up in maroon at Swynecastle.... It will be truely amazing.

He has knuckled down rather than buckle... which is nice to see in this day and age. He could have gone, but he stuck with Rangers and I agree - he is by far the most improved player over the last 2 years. I hope he signs a long contract, and he becomes a Rangers and Scotland stalwart.
