And another non entity.... talking of his shame of being a Glaswegian.... fuck off. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7404511.stm

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7402817.stm Watch the video on this link, if it works.... it will show the assault on a young fan seemingly stood doing nothing. Although there are dozens of idiots around, he is targetted by some officer of the law with a riot shield..

The Retard reporters were actually caught up in it and clearly have a fans eye view. Seems all the "facts" from the Police Chief witch are a little "blurry". Unlike Spiers who was no where near anything but seems to be able to tell all what happened. Again focusing in on the songs of discontent that Uefa said we were not to sing. Spiers is ensuring that Uefa hear this and that we will be hammered. Clever back stabbing bitter reporting, nothing than we would expect from him. A waste of oxygen and rations.

Saw yesterday evening a charge by a Police officer at a Rangers fan who was 1/ Looking in a different direction 2/ Stood with arms folded doing nothing 3/ not involved in any of the nonsnense in any way The copper rams into him from behind the guy is knocked to the ground and the copper keeps running passed towards - nothing... it was clearly done for no other reason than being a total cnut. I have never had much sympathy for the Police and there job - they sign up and they should take on what the job dishes out... that is after all what everyone says about the Armed Forces. They have a hard job, but you get your head down and get on. But after seeing that little clip on Sky, I can honestly say that everything that is bad about policing in this country is clearly applauded by GMP and there Chiefs. Well done GMP, another failure, well done GMC, another failure. But lets blame the Scots, lets blame the Rangers fans. Lets sweep it under the carpet again.

Just seen on Sky News, 11 Rangers fans charged with Criminal offences.

The official 'Manchester couldn't run a piss up in a brewery thread!'
Wija replied to Gazza_8's topic in Rangers Chat
Uefa said Manchester did a "fantastic job" in staging the final despite the trouble and insisted no other city could have done it better. Communications director William Gaillard said: "Both the municipal government and Manchester police have done a fantastic job given they were faced with well over 100,000 fans coming from Scotland. "I can't believe that any other city would have done anything better." These people live on another planet. Enticing people to come early, get mullered and think there will not be trouble if something sparks anger is bordering on insanity. Add the fact the only back up plan was to bus fans to another location some distance away whilst the game was in progress.... Total shambles. William Gaylord wants to wake the fuck up! -

Unorganised grabtastic pieces of amphibian sh1t!!! To quote a phrase From Gunnery Sgt Hartman -
Disagree Craig, how very dare you... No mate, as a fan I wanted the SPL title back......... the team probably wanted a greatly improved season, to cement for next year like you say.

Surely cancelling Thursday's game is now a must. Don't know where I got Saturday from, I mean I think we used to play Football on a Saturday. Will need to refer to historical data.
-
Has been cancelled as a mark of respect to Tommy Burns. As a side to this, will C****c request that Saturday's matches are cancelled. I would say that Tommy Burns meant more to C****c than Phil O'Donnell.

As far as I could see from the daytime pictures and video feeds all of the Rangers support were wearing some sort of Blue, scarf, hat or indeed fancy dress. Having watched the news feeds this morning it was pointed out by a workmate that the guy's running around throwing stuff were in normal casual attire of jeans, shirts and jackets. There were Rangers tops in amongst it so I am not saying no Gers fans were invloved - I am not that naive. But could this holigan element be from the very city that enticed us to go there in our thousands. And just watching the Deputy Chief Constable on the News just now, and she is coming across a smug bitch. It is quite clear that Manchester were not ready for this event and the aparent back up plans for such failures did not materialise. The back up screen was at the Veladrome which is no where near the Piccadily screen. Absolute pump excuses and usual smoke screens from GMP and Council. Again I stress this does not condone the idiots who were there causing the damahge/rioting... They should all be banged up, named and shamed.

I wait with baited breath the vilification from the likes of Spiers, McNee, Keevins and the rest of the Mhedia tomorrow... they need the extra 24 hours to look in there dictionaries for big words...

I had heard he had cancer but there has been no mention of it and I also thought he was beating in... Very sad.

Lets look at the start of this season - 1 goal, to win the SPL. That is still in our hands, although 3 away games in 5 days is a disgrace. The Uefa Cup was a side show that would have been gratefully won, but alas we havenot. No one on here would have said we would be in a Uefa Cup final at the start of the season. We got there, didn't win it but have shown great resolve and determination to go that extra mile whilst being hindered by the Scottish Football executives. We can still win a domestic treble... that for me is a fantastic achiement from where we were 18 months ago. Lets not get down or dishearted, we have gone further than anyone thought. Lets be proud of the players, and lets give them the backing they deserve to get the rest of the domestic silverware back in the Ibrox trophy room. We Are The People

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/2008/05/15/celtic-legend-tommy-burns-dies-86908-20418297/ Extremely sad news. This when football is brought back to earth. Deepest condolences to his family.

Pete, it was Murray that put us in the position we are in. He gave Dickie the job and gave him the money. Well done Zenit, some quality players, and well done Dick... although he has clearly landed on his feet again with a sugar daddy as a chairman.

Let me apologise for the idiots that always seem to pop up when we travel. I will never condone such lunacy. Looking at the facts though - TV screen where 25,000 fans were going to watch the game broke. They couldn't fix it, they have been drinking all day and indeed encouraged to to create a happy atmosphere... OK, idiots started throwing bottles and cans, and again this cannot be condoned. But to actually expect no idiots to start causing a rucus is naive at best. Also, the GMP are an extremely hands on force, always have been. Drunken people do not accept people being hands on, especially in uniform. Even more so when there team has lost a major final. Now I will state again that I do not condone any of these idiots, and I hope that the scum who stabbed the Russian fan are banged up. But Manchesters people have been great (this from people who were there), unfortunately the officials etc who have stated " we have hosted sporting events before, we know it all..." As for GMP, they are totally inept at handling any kind of event like last nights. I am sorry True Mancunian.

As I said on another thread, lets not blame anyone else. Lets be above that. The fans are being superb in the stadium. We shall stand and be proud, for we are Rangers.
-
The boys are still singing... That is what its all about. Let us stand up and be men, we lost... not the SPL and not anyone else. Lets get the treble and we will still be standing proud. We ARE THE PEOPLE....

That looked offside... but we are done..
-
No mate, not complaining just saying.... we need to attack it, but also need to defend them. Good tackle from Broadfoot there..
-
11 men behind the ball now every time we get it....
-
Fcuk..... that was a good goal...

Wasn't a pen, but worth a shout...
