Rangers abuse claim victim told to contact liquidators for compensation
StuGers replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
So he would be allowed to take payment from a company other than the BBC, say Celtic? -
More ramping up of the fake news today to bury Celtic’s ongoing child abuse cases. Apparently the BBC (Scotland) think it is a bigger story that an “anonymous” person claims abuse at Ibrox itself (when there was no actual case for them to be there), strangely channeled through the BBC, rather than an actual ongoing case starting against Celtic’s previously guilty resident (one of many) paedo. Strange choice of story to put as the headline.

Out of intereat, is Daly a staff member at the BBC or is he, as a lot of others, a ‘private company’? -
Rangers charged by SFA over 2011/12 UEFA licence issue
StuGers replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
All very good but you have to remember, the SFA coming out badly in this isn’t even a consideration for them as long as it makes Rangers look bad in some way. -
Rangers abuse claim victim told to contact liquidators for compensation

Without sounding too sceptical, I would like evidence that this person and conversation existed. Am I saying that the BBC would make a story up and use this as a deflection tactic whilst they seem to be idly sitting by and ignoring the scandal of 4 ongoing court cases against employees of a single club?.... Maybe. This is all part of the ongoing media and PR war that Rangers are under constant attack from. It is fairly obvious. -
I’m genuinely surprised that this is being reported anywhere as if it’s a bad thing. Its actually quite refreshing to see someone put to print that they are calling out this support of terrorism as not a good thing.

I know, remember when Brown was unfairly punished for kicking that player on the head when he was lying prone on the ground? What? He never even got punished for that?

match thread (image) [FT] Aberdeen 1 - 1 Rangers (McCrorie 63)

I understand what you are saying, but even with our collapse, we didn’t concede! We went on to score 1. The difference between 0-1 and 1-1 was a non-penalty. -

But even with all those mistakes from us.... they didn’t score. It took the referee awarding them a penalty to score. -

All very true.... but at the end of the day, Aberdeen scored one goal from a penalty that should never have been. So they were gifted the points via the referee. -

Aberdeen scored 1 goal. That goal was from a penalty that never was. Ergo, the ref robbed us. We didn’t play well, but still well enough to win 1-0. -

How many points is that this season we have been robbed of by referees? It is ridiculous. I know we were poor but, again, the referee has directly lost us points (and gained for a rival) by making ‘poor’ decisions. -
So this headline has now been changed as is the content on the Mail article. As usual, the damage has been done. Mission accomplished.
-
I had the radio on in the car yesterday and the headline clip was “Rodgers issues thoughts for Fergie” and even my placid wife who has no beef with anyone commented on how ridiculous it was to shoehorn Rodgers thoughts in, as if they are actually more important than the original issue.

I’ve noticed a quick switch on the Sun’s output since Gerrard was confirmed. I think you’re right, a war of Rangers-hating will ramp up even further to gain attention from the manks.

Pathetic posturing from Celtic. As many have pointed out, if you can afford £30 for a ticket, you can certainly afford to buy tampons.

Today in the Daily Mail, we have Alex Ferguson’s illness as an excuse to smear us - apparently he had to leave Rangers because he married a Catholic. Headline is; “Bedside vigil by the only person on the planet who can tell Fergie what to do: How stricken Sir Alex was so devoted to his wife Lady Cathy that he quit his boyhood club Rangers because of the abuse he received for marrying a Catholic” https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5697621/amp/Bedside-vigil-person-planet-tell-Fergie-do.html

I see that Dornan is now claiming that he is the only one who received the “smash a ******” email. Big change in story...
-
Sounds like an absolute non-story. Probably another for the fake news thread.
-
I actually can’t believe what I’m watching. The commentators obviously can’t either considering their very awkward silence as Candeias was pelted by coins at the corner.

Direct quotes from Stevie Clarke saying he wasn’t approached by Rangers. Daily Record saying he “rejected” the chance to manage us. more lies from the Record.
