I wasn't at the game today but it seems to be a common occurrence that the referring has been questionable. Every time I've been this season they have been shambolic with allowing all sorts of fouls against us.
-
Really hope to see Windass starting today. I've still got an optimistic feeling about this game. Fingers crossed I've still got a good feeling at 5.

"The track was played by a random song generator when the goals went in, however, a club like Celtic, where all are welcome, would never stoop to this level. The matter shall be dealt with in-house" - Celtic FC....

Yeah it doesn't really give a fair or true reflection of the majority of fans.

I do read that forum but don't post. It's hard to sift through the nonsense though!

Latest from football tax havens - stolen Rangers documents?
StuGers replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
If that is true it is eye opening stuff. -
I completely agree with this. I really don't believe that the lot of them were intentionally joining in to a premeditated act.

I've got a good feeling we will come out with a high goal win in this one. I am an optimist though.

Exploring the fundamental dishonesty of Scotland's sectarianism industry
StuGers replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Also spot on. When it is unbalanced, the other side are going to raise their level to match or get even worse than the other. Unless that is what they want - to continue to try and constantly get a bite from some of the less intelligent or controlled of our fans. -

http://m.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/14738133.Police_launch_probe_into_Parkhead_toilet_damage_and_hanging_effigies_at_Celtic_v_Rangers_Old_Firm_derby/ POLICE have launched an investigation into Saturday's Old Firm fixture after a toilet block at Celtic Park was vandalised and hanged effigies were suspended from a tier inside the stadium. The scenes have been described as "hugely disappointing" by senior officers who previously reported that only one football fan had been arrested during the game in which Celtic defeated Rangers 5-1. Evening Times: But following the first league clash between the teams in four years, pictures emerged on social media of a toilet block that appeared to have been smashed to pieces by the travelling Rangers support. Celtic supporters also came under fire for producing a banner which read "Hun Scum" and dangling two plastic effigies with hands tied behind their backs in the manner of an execution from the upper tier of the Jock Stein Stand. The hanging blow up dolls adorned with Rangers scarves could be seen at the start of the live TV coverage of the match as the players took to the pitch. Evening Times: Rival fans have disputed the significance of the stunt with some suggesting it was making reference to Rangers FC liquidation in 2012, but others emphasised that it coincided with World Suicide Prevention Day. Bernard Higgins, Assistant Chief Constable for Justice and Support, said: "The overwhelming majority of those who attended the Celtic v Rangers game behaved responsibly and appeared to heed the advice given in the run up to the fixture. "What is hugely disappointing and frustrating is that a minority of individuals behaved in a manner which has no place in our communities, football and modern society and which has resulted in Police Scotland carrying out investigations to identify those responsible." Evening Times: A spokesman for Rangers FC described the effigies as a "disgraceful and sickening" act. He said: "It was a vile and insensitive stunt which, understandably, has attracted widespread condemnation. “This was a new low but there were other unacceptable images which were also deeply offensive to Rangers supporters." It follows a call form Rangers supporters group Club 1872 to ban Celtic fans from Ibrox after what it described as "overtly sectarian" displays. Evening Times: A Celtic FC spokesman said the club would not become embroiled in a "tit for tat spat"/ "We will deal with all issues arising in a proper and professional manner in line with our well established policies," he said. At the weekend a Police Scotland spokeswoman said no criminal complaint had been made about the toilet damage and the matter was currently being dealt with internally by Celtic. But Police Scotland has now confirmed that an investigation will be launched into the vandalism. So I thought this article was stating the obvious to what should happen - the police investigating. Until I read that last sentence. It would appear, according to the article, when it gets to the crux of the matter, it would only be the vandalism that is being investigated.

Their statement ("Spokesman")- even worse than predicted. Absurd

Probably helped them write it. -
To be fair, I am sure the vast majority had no idea of the significance of the 66 minutes and just went along. However that does not detract from the initiating action.

Not surprised in the slightest. -
Colin, I do agree, I have plenty of friends who are Celtic supporters, but it is clear to see there is something going on behind the scenes that is working against us. That is where most of the frustration is coming from I would think. However, I would definitely say that banking the away fans would be more effective as you tend to get more bampots in the always fans. The same could be said about any club.

I would highly doubt that it is even a real caller. It wouldn't be the first time that the DR have been "misleading" would it?
-
Daily Record seems to have whitewashed the game from history as usual. Funnily enough in the constant joke that is the "fan phone in" there is only a mention from a "Rangers fan" ashamed of the toilet fiasco. I don't know why I'm surprised.

The silence in the media this morning is DEAFENING. I'm beyond the argument of the "what if it was us doing this" now as it is obvious that this is a much bigger issue. In a modern, supposedly civilised country, if there was a gathering of 60,000people, and some of them partook in singing songs of hate and glorifying terrorist groups that attacked the very soil they stand on, whist hanging effigies of people of a certain religion, this should be met with disgust by all and absolutely attacked by any decent minded person. Not a peep about it on the BBC. How is this? Are the British public not to be made aware that a large number of people seem happy to sing about the death of their citizens? How is it not public interest that the hanging of Protestant effigies was taking place in Scotland? And that the police didn't find that inflammatory? If it wasn't inflammatory, was it acceptable? It is just as unacceptable as it would have been if it was Jewish or Black or Muslim or Catholic effigies. Or at least is should be as unacceptable. This country is sleepwalking towards something really horrible. All these little events are iteratively getting worse, and if nothing is even acknowledged by our main broadcaster never mind some of the rags that call themselves newspapers, then things are only going to keep getting iteratively worse. That is the real danger; people don't notice the change until it is truly something horrifying and too late.

If it is true, then they should be banned from Ibrox. We need as little controversy coming from own doing as possible.
-
No one has made a complaint. Really? Glad it is getting highlighted. Now for the sectarian banners. Imagine the furore if there had been a banner with "f*nian scum" on it.
-
Will this even be mentioned in the media today? Will the police act on these? On the week that Kris Boyd's brother takes his own life these scum do this. No mention of the sectarian banners at all. It really is becoming more and more toxic.

Is it true that there is an agreement with Ra Sellick that the costs aren't followed up due to previous of the same at Ibrox?
