But, but, I read it in a blog somewhere so it just be true!

Wow, another website to bash Rangers! The thing is, they write such a rabid argument, then show themselves up by bringing in insults to the Orange Order (I couldn't give two hoots about them) and notes reasoned arguments from the Rangers camp and disregards them as "wibble". That is the problem with these people - their mask always slips and discredits all that pish they have just written.

The Pre-Summer-2017 transfer rumours and hearsay all inclusive Thread
StuGers replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
I wouldn't be sad to see Miller go from a playing perspective but there is absolutely no way we should be letting him leave to Hibs after the Scott Allan / Cup Final fiasco. They are a rancid club with a rancid support who have treated our club horrendously. -
UEFA Hand Their Friends Celtic Another Slap On The Wrist
StuGers replied to StuGers's topic in General Football Chat
Let's be honest, most other teams would have. The amount of fines they have amassed is staggering. Can anyone verify if, in fact, they are the worst offenders in the continent? -
UEFA Hand Their Friends Celtic Another Slap On The Wrist
StuGers replied to StuGers's topic in General Football Chat
Nah, they always ignore the bit in the law where it says it's illegal to glorify proscribed terrorist groups, because, you know, jolly craicsters and all that jazz. -
http://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/disciplinary/index.html €23,000 for illicit banners. Either UEFA are intentionally ignoring what Celtic fans are doing or they are genuinely ignorant as to what they are observing. Just last year a team in the later stages of the champions league had their bus bombed by terrorists. This year, Celtic are glorifying terrorism directly against a visiting support who's community has been victims of terrorism in recent times, with many innocents killed. A full stadium singing support of terrorism was also conveniently ignored in the charge sheet. It is disgusting. I've looked for a contact email for UEFA but all I can find are contacts for feedback on their site. Does anyone know an email address where I can contact and point these facts out to FIFA? Remember Rangers were banned from having fans due to supposed songs which were sung, reported by a third party. How are these scumbag terrorist supporters allowed to continually spout their hate?

So what can we do to alert the BBC that one of their branches is alienating the fans of the biggest club in the country on the third biggest city of the UK, whilst also affecting a large number of fans ourwith Glasgow and some in NI, whilst regularly coming close or crossing the line on legal matters and wit comments made on the BBC's behalf? How can we get a campaign started similar to the Record campaign?
-
Sorry, I mean BBC headquarters down South in relation to BBC Scotland, not BBC Scotland in relation to its "journalists".
-
I really wonder if the BBC headquarters have an idea of what is going on or do BBC Scotland just shield it from them. Surely if they knew they would be having a word.
-
Rumours of them infighting last night after a Armed Forces CSC banner was unfurled. Why anyone in the armed forces would support them I'll never know. I actually know a guy who was in NI serving, is a Celtic fan, and used to go out in Republican bars over there. He even got involved In a "Brits go home" sing song apparently. Next level stupid.
-
The thing is, yes it is a charade. But you've got to think; what is their goal? It is just to drum up more hatred against Rangers. They are probably glad it hasn't went through as it gives more scope to up the hatred.
-
Mentalists. All encompassing mentalists... unless you support Rangers.
-
I would like to think so but I can't see any appetite to open that can of worms or look under that carpet. There are too many people in places of power making sure that doesn't happen.
-
Are we really surprised? Every day the institutional hatred of Rangers grows. Soon they won't even need to pretend to hide it.
-
I said the same thing on another thread. The BBC (Scotland) are just as bad as the Rhebel.
-
They are all just out-and-out liars. Any decent media would be pulling him up about that. Not in the republic of Scotland though.
-
I am pissing myself laughing but at the same time disturbed at how obviously disappointed the official body are that they have been forced to come to that verdict.5!3 tone of the statement is horrendous. There is no "we are glad to live on" but more like "we are so so so sorry that we can't fuck Rangers over".

Rangers are Disappointing Me - and I want us to be better
StuGers replied to RiverBear7's topic in Rangers Chat
One of the biggest Rangers fans I know is Asian. The Singhs are very high profile Rangers fans. Where is the image that Ibrox isn't welcoming to foreigners coming from? The press you say? There seems to be a pattern forming here. And here you are on a forum perpetuating this myth. -
Kylian Mbappé - £161 Mill to Real Madrid
StuGers replied to Uilleam's topic in General Football Chat
I find it hard to believe that someone who will become the world's most expensive player would "only" be on £135k / week. -
Agreed. But this is the BBC who are known for their loose reporting of facts I'd like to see a #changetherecord type campaign against the BBC to be honest.

The thing is though, in my eyes, Rangers have progressed. The song book has definitely progressed from when I started going years ago. There is absolutely no denying that. Could it get better? Yes. But it's definitely improving. The problem again, as with the charity work, is that we have a lot of people who are either paid or have a vested interest to report us in a negative light. The Rangers family is no where near the bigoted Neanderthals that are commonly reported in the press. The press and the "fake news" that is ramping up against our club is the biggest problem we face in my opinion . Campaigns like those against the record (and hopefully a more orchestrated campaign against the BBC) will help our cause. -

Absolutely spot on Bluedell. I was slightly baffled by the continued use of "progressive". In what way are the majority of Rangers fans not "progressive"? I would say that I am fairly liberal and so are my mates. However if hating those who glorify terrorism and constantly disrespect our country is not "progressive" then I mus be seriously 'regressive'. The article reeks. -

A few points; 1. I agree to an extent. Personally I have absolutely zero interest in the OO or anything like that, but I certainly don't feel that Rangers officially or unofficially play to that. That minority who are OO and choose to follow Rangers are, as said, a minority and also do so in their own free will with zero persuasion. 2. 2 orange strips in our history. It is hardly as if this is a targeted thing. Are Liverpool being sectarian as they have an orange strip this year. It should also be noted that the strip was released in the year which we had many many Dutch internationals. 3. You had to go back a good few years to find the picture of that flag. I personally haven't seen it in Ibrox before or on any other Rangers pictures. 4. If you feel that your 'political heartbreak' is affecting your love for the club, then stop being a fan. Rangers always will be a Scottish, British club. If that doesn't sit right with you and is affecting your enjoyment, then leave the party. 5. On the charity stuff, yes Rangers does a massive amount of charity work. Do you think they don't publicise it or do you maybe think that those outside the club who have the power to spread the word choose not to? And if you are aware of this work, why are you bothered? -
A fantastic comment from FF on Gordon Waddell's latest PR coverup in the Daily Record: This piece of written junk isn't penned to condemn or even criticise, instead it is eased into the public conscience on behalf of Filth FC through the offices of its own weasel press and puppet journalist, ........... as a matter of public relations, to dilute and soften any real social consequences for an organisation that are akin to the Kremlin in their duplicity. Filth FC were founded on the principles of cultural and religious apartheid. Quite simply a deliberate Irish Roman Catholic experiment in cultural and religious isolation from the ethnic Scottish Protestants they had chosen to settle amidst. Today their Board recognise this, as it is the single most unique selling point they have as a business. They feed it, nurture it and themselves as individuals no doubt live it. However, at the same time they also need the deception of modern inclusivity, and a politically correct posture to serve as a mask to that founding ethos, which in today's world might otherwise draw some accurate observations regarding its naked sectarianism and continued hostility to the host population's own and longer established cultural norms. One and a half centuries later, and this club remain Irish and Roman Catholic to its core, with only Scottish accents to camouflage the failure to properly integrate as a sporting organisation inside today's modern Scotland, as for an honest comparison, Hibernian Football Club were able to do so well, and so effectively. Sadly their Irishness isn't the wonderful warm generous culturally attractive aspect of that island that so inspires people to visit, it isn't the blarney stone, the hauntingly beautiful music, the humour of the leprechaun or indeed the richness of the mythology. Instead their's is the Ireland of the hatred of the British State, the violence of the terrorist bomb, the worship of the Armalite, and the blatantly sectarian ethnic cleansing of their Protestant neighbours that they would love to import into Scotland. This is the only Irishness that stirs this football club to song and signature. It is religious bigotry that beats their cultural drum, and hatred of Protestants that stirs their feral hearts to song. Waddell can obfuscate, conceal and dissemble these truths before the nation to the end of his days, but only fools will rush into believing this deception. The truth is out there for anyone caring to look beyond the words of liars.
