https://mobile.twitter.com/NaeBull/status/910583167073095680 Absolutely horrendous dive from Sinclair. Penalty from Beaton (no surprise).
-
He might be better just avoiding Sinclair in case he does another swan dive like against Dundee. Did anyone see that? It was an unreal dive. I'm not surprised Beaton gave it.

I thought I was being generous with a 5!

Celtic Boys Club Child Protection Officer Resigns
StuGers replied to StuGers's topic in General Football Chat
A couple of interesting points; The guy recommended an action and the club swept it under the carpet and he became the one investigated. The DR are keen to point out that "Celtic Boys Club have no connection to Celtic FC"... Both points sound familiar. I take it that this is a different coach Jim Stewart as the one that was at Rangers? -
Lifted from the DR: Child protection chief at top Scottish boys' football club resigns amid claims bullying ignored by bosses Jim Stewart quit Celtic Boys Club believing kids are bullied and put at risk with no consequences for perpetrators. BY MARK MCGIVERN 06:00, 19 SEP 2017UPDATED07:59, 19 SEP 2017 The Child protection chief at one of Scotland’s top boys’ football clubs has resigned amid claims that bullying was ignored by bosses. Jim Stewart quit Celtic Boys Club after recommending sanctions against a coach, which he claims were ignored. JS129945160.jpg Jim Stewart says he didn't resign lightly(Image: Daily Record) In his resignation letter, he also claims parents were allowed to verbally abuse coaches, forcing two to resign. He added: “There have been too many instances of children being put at risk with no consequences for the perpetrators.” Stewart, the club’s child protection officer for five years, was asked to write a report on the conduct of one coach, which resulted in a recommendation that he be removed from coaching duties. Stewart said he was furious after it was ignored. JS129945307.jpg Jim didn't want anyone to be able to accuse him of doing nothing(Image: Daily Record) The coach was accused of bullying a boy at a Dutch tournament in May, leading 13-year-old Reece McManus’s dad to take him away from the club. It emerged the coach had been accused of a similar outburst two years ago, which resulted in another boy being withdrawn from the club. Read More Bus driver, 21, charged after double-decker smashes into bridge at Western General hospital leaving six injured The Record has seen resignation emails from two coaches who claimed they were being forced to leave because parents’ aggressive actions went unchallenged. Stewart also wrote: “I can’t accept the committee’s total failure to deal with child protection issues. As the committee will not allow me to act in any way that allows me to protect the health and wellbeing of the children involved with the Boys Club, I have no option but to resign.” JS129945316.jpg The club said they "will never tolerate bullying and discrimination”(Image: Daily Record) Stewart cited the alleged bullying of a young footballer during the trip to Holland. He said: “I produced a report which included a recommendation the coach have no further involvement in the boys club. I was not allowed to bring this to the committee for discussion.” Stewart’s letter claims the parents accused of threatening behaviour are related to club committee members. He told the Record: “I didn’t resign lightly. I didn’t want anyone to be able to accuse me of standing by and doing nothing.” In response, club chairman Steven McNellis emailed Stewart to say a separate probe into a club coach had been launched. It is thought the committee question the methods used by Stewart in his probe. Celtic Boys Club, who have no connection to Celtic FC, said: “The club will never tolerate bullying and discrimination.”

It would be Bayern and Real!

I don't think Windass is a loss for the scum game as I don't rate him however, if he is cited for his gesture, this is an absolute open goal for Rangers to highlight the hypocrisy of the Compliance Officer with him not citing Lennon. If this happens and the club say nothing then I'll be very, very disappointed.

They got given it as it was an easy way out of Collum having to give a penalty. -

Thanks and wholeheartedly agreed. I think the media is a big influence. A ref makes a decision against Celtic / for Rangers and they are automatically hauled over the coals, the decision analysed multiple times, subjected to multiple articles against them and generally abused. This is whether the decision is right or wrong. So are they subconsciously influenced by this? "Shall I give Rangers this difficult decision, 50/50 or free kick in a dangerous position that may lead to a goal which will result in my performance being scrutinised or shall I just ignore it / not make the decision and have an easy life?". Is that the quick nagging voice of their sub conscience? I think it is. Either that or they have been instructed to do this as EVERY match this season has had ridiculous refereeing decisions against us. -

I've just seen the first studs up tackle there (I was out the room when it happened). How the hell was that not a red card? I don't like to bang on about refereeing but when football matches are tight, and seasons are tight, constant decisions regularly going against you makes a massive difference, as we are seeing. Collum didn't give a foul for Miller then the ball went up the park and he gave a free kick against Rangers for the exact same thing. How they finished the game with 10 men I'll never know. I don't want to sound like one of them but there is a clear agenda against Rangers. Whether it is on purpose or it is subconscious, I don't know. -

Another game, another suspect refereeing performance. The refs seem terrified to give us anything. He copped out of so many decisions it was unreal. Saying that, we should have buried them. They took their two chances and we squandered so many. -

I wish a Scottish journo had the decency to print the truth like this sometimes. -
I think it is a fantastic nod to the shit-60's-office look. It gets it absolutely spot on.

Signed. I wouldn't normally have any issue with paying the fee but the Rangers saga and the blatant agenda that is being instilled in BBC Scotland has forced my hand. -

The BBC headline is fantastic: "Fan Runs On To Pitch During Celtic-PSG". It would be funny if it wasn't so serious. -
Doncaster certainly isn't coming out of this very well. His 'poodle' status seems to have been outed in dramatic fashion.
