  1. There is a blatant agenda in Scotland just now. Common decency is going right out the window in favour of partisan reporting. It really is a dangerous situation that’s brewing, especially amongst the “underclass” who seem to be more vulnerable to lapping up the red-tops and Twitter fake news.
  2. I know, it’s ridiculous. Just more in the pressure on referees to let them know that any decision for us will end up with their face and personal life plastered all over their papers and websites. Compare this to the reaction to some of the referees not doing their job in some of the decisions against us.
  3. I note it’s “football” fans again. It is Celtic scum fighting amongst themselves as usual.
  4. His contract is up soon. Due to this, I don’t expect to see him back at Ibrox which is a shame.
  5. I can’t remember this much of an outcry when they had their massive marches. Again, I’m not for these at all, but has there been this level of noise from our fans about the policing costs for their marches, which appear to be more regular.
  6. I’m not condoning their actions. The point I’m making is that whilst their mob run riot through the city, batter lumps out of each other, attack groups of our fans, scrawl graffiti and vandalism everywhere, abuse our players in a sectarian fashion, I’m finding it hard to get upset about a group of our daft supporters with a really stupid logo and making some ridiculous red-hand salutes.
  7. Whilst I agree with your sentiment, I find it absolutely staggering that there has been this reaction to it, and a lot coming from Rangers fans. Why is there such a massive uproar about it? The Groin Brigade do it all the time. There was a pub of Rangers fans with women and children physically attacked and it’s hardly been mentioned by the newspapers or MPs. There were Rangers fans attacked after the match whilst they were walking home. Yet the outcry is about fans with a logo of someone being kicked. So what is worse? A logo depicting violence or actual violence on women and children? By the mass response, it seems that the answer is the logo, but that is just because it depicts a Celtic fan as the victim. Again, think the march was stupid, but the hypocrisy of the outcry as if this is the first time in history that this has happened is ridiculous when you compare it to the actual violence that the Rangers fans have been subject to. It really does show you the awful political landscape that we reside in where actual violence against us is not newsworthy.
  8. Daily Record again - Celtic’s Sinclair ‘Attacked’ At Glasgow Airport. It turns out some drunks gave him some verbal abuse. Not condoning that but when a headline says “attacked” it certainly implies a physical attack.
  9. On a humourous and baffling note, did anyone see that the banner that the Celtic fans had that said “don’t forget to wish your sisters a happy mother’s day”. Are they finally coming to terms with the whole Aunty / Mother thing?
  10. To me, he epitomises the SNP.
  11. Whilst I agree that this poster should never have seen the light of day, I’m finding it hard to officially condone giving the recently approved “hun scum” and “kill all Huns” banners flown at Parkhead. Condoning one and not the other would be hypocritical would it not?
  12. Just another of the hoardes of online anti-Rangers posters. It is very strange how there is such a large and constant stream of these types online. Whether it’s twitter, online newspaper comments sections, Facebook or football forums, there are always posters spreading complete lies about our club and its support.
  13. There are so many holes in that story that it’s ridiculous.
  14. Will probably be getting welcomed back again and getting another payment from Celtic whilst in jail.
  15. This one’s a belter. In the, always reliable, Daily Record today - it has an article about how Celtic are miles ahead of everyone statistically. It is mainly focusing on shots for in the opponents box. It states that Celtic have had 289 shots in the opponents box which is “almost three times more than any other premiership side”. It goes on to say that Rangers have had only 241. I know they like to just make up absolute dross but how have they got the red neck to say that Celtic have 3 times as many shots and then completely contradict themselves with the hard data?
  16. The RoI seems to have a strange attraction to those of a certain faith in both NI and Scotland.
  17. The thing is, there is no excuse for the referee not to send him off. He’s confirmed he’s seen it by giving the yellow! The incident also highlights what we’re up against in the media as I don’t think it was even discussed in the match analysis. It’s not the first time that big decisions against us have been erased from any highlights, yet on the odd occasion we seem to get away with anything it is repeated over and over.
  18. His game is a lot more than just goals. For a guy who’s not tall, he wins a lot of headers and creates a lot of chances and link up play. His passing can be erratic at times but when he gets it right it usually creates some great chances.
  19. Every match this season bar a handful have been disgraceful. I would hope that as we are not hearing official complaints in the public domain, Rangers are making enquiries in a more direct fashion.
  20. So it’s ok to punch Rangers players now and it’s only a yellow card? Unbelievable. Well, not really, it’s just standard this season.
  21. Funny that isn’t it. To be fair when minor decisions have went in Rangers favour it’s not as if they’ve repeated them to death to try and prove them wrong... oh wait a minute. You do wonder if you’re paranoid but there’s obvious difference between the way the clubs are reported on and it leads me to the question; are Celtic paying extra for this special treatment?
  22. So we’ve had Agathe with death threats and driving to work in an armoured car and now Van Hooijdonk spat on in the face on his doorstep and sent razor blades yet there was no report of these incidents at the time. You'd think Celtic were under a bit of pressure or something. Also interesting to note that both of these stories originated in the Daily Rhecord...
  23. Former Celtic hero Pierre van Hooijdonk has revealed he was sent razor blades in the post in Scotland and claimed someone spat in his face when he opened a door. ADVERTISING inRead invented by Teads And the Dutch ace insisted he's never felt so unsafe as when he was in Glasgow. The retired Holland international was a huge success for the Hoops in a controversial two-year spell from 1995 where he netted 52 goals for Celtic in 84 appearances, before leaving under a cloud to Nottingham Forest in a deal worth £4.5 million. Pierre Van Hooijdonk takes his seat (Image: Rob Casey/SNS Group) Now an agent and a TV analyst in his Dutch homeland, the 48-year-old has cranked up the heat ahead of this week's Old Firm showdown by revealing some of the treatment he received during his time at Celtic. Van Hooijdonk was previewing the weekend game between two of his former clubs, NAC Breda and Feyenoord in Dutch publication BN DeStem, when he stated: "In Rotterdam there is no such rivalry with NAC at all. I myself never felt that rivalry. Not at NAC and not at Feyenoord. Di Canio, van Hooijdonk and Cadete have gone down in Celtic folklore (Image: Daily Record) "But at Celtic v Rangers though, when I went for lunch somewhere or stopped at a traffic light with a Rangers pub on the corner, I was insulted and the middle finger went up. "I opened my door once and was spat on by someone who then ran away like a greyhound. "I even had razor blades sent to me in an envelope. That was intense. "There was hatred there and you could see it. "Nowhere have I felt so unsafe as in Glasgow."
  24. Good on Dundee. I wish Rangers would do the same.
  25. Cheatin Beaton strikes again. Did he not also chalk off an earlier Morton goal for a phantom offside?
