  1. I fear that is always the way, manager get blinded by the PL despite the form of the individual player probably being indifferent.
  2. Posted at 03:32. You are keen Gribz
  3. It's a great flag and Dickinson gets stick about his allegiance as the others are West Ham supporters. I'm a member of their fan club (needed for advance tickets) He never misses the chance to wave the flag during "The Trooper" or "These Colours don't run" and any others he can!!!
  4. An unforced error and breakaway goal and we were in the game (albeit largely ineffective for parts) right up till the end. I feel that the expectation to beat them in every game is back and yes disappointed when we lose but we are close to achieving parity which after the last 7-8 years is an achievement. Saying that it still hurts.
  5. Southampton 1-1 Man Utd Chelsea 3-1 Sheff Utd Crystal Palace 1-1 Aston Villa Leicester 2-0 Bournemouth Man City 4-0 Brighton Newcastle 1-0 Watford West Ham 1-1 Norwich Burnley 0-2 Liverpool Everton 1-0 Wolves Arsenal 1-2 Tottenham and Rangers 2-1 Celtic
  6. Got 1-0 written all over this....hopefully!!
  7. Flares from them, how did they get them in???????
  8. You forgot about the ecstasy of scoring a goal only for it to be taken off you by a marginal offside or handball somewhere in the previous play
  9. Just here.
  10. Yes there is a thread in the lounge that gives the details of this march on Friday.
  11. I thought they were going for a slightly expanded competition, didn't know that it was actually less!!
  12. Yes, Halifax, Accrington, Darlington, Wimbledon, York City and I think Gretna have all been there for various reasons and come back. Good luck to Bury.
  13. Just back from Paisley.... via London and now Kent and have to give it to Jack for his overall endeavour which does sometimes get overlooked, but pleased most on here feel the same this time. Good result which we may have drawn last year.
  14. Bury 'sold', says owner Dale Big breaking news from the Football League... Owner Steve Dale has told BBC Radio Manchester he has agreed a deal to sell Bury as an EFL deadline for their possible expulsion approaches.
  15. He was on Talksport a few weeks back. He blames the previous owners for the mess and has allegedly spent £3m of his own money to try to sort things, plus he has terminal cancer. I'm not sure what is going on, but i think he wants proof of funds for any perspective new owner and may want some of his family money back?
  16. Would never happen. No matter how small the club, they still have their unique history. They would probably rather become a phoenix club a la Wimbledon, Aldershot, Darlington and Gretna among others.
  17. Aren't Bury in enough trouble!!!!!
  18. Sad to see. If near neighbours Man Utd and City, gave the money made from one home game each i'm sure that would clear the creditors and the club could be sold to that interested party as a going concern. It's about time the PL gave a little back as without the FL clubs there would be no FAC, no League cup and nowhere for their young players to go out on loan.
  19. Now, that would be something to see.
  20. If the wind is a factor (and it usually is there) then it will be good practice for the players selected to keep the ball on the ground, one touch and get them to do the the running. Possession football will be the name of the game at the business park ground!!!
