Some valid hypothasis that may get answered in the fullness of time. A question i have is why the SPFL chairman Murdoch MacLennan went public with an email that he knew would be leaked. Why not work with Rangers on their concerns like any company would and the EPL certainly would do with their clubs, why make this a Rangers versus the rest if it wasn't aimed at isolating the Gers again or bullying them to get in line? I have no problem with Gers taking advantage of the weakness of the SPFL, but why would the SPFL as an supposed professional organisation conduct this business in full view of the media if not to try to embarrass Rangers?

Still 6th/7th material IMO, lack goals and still have the brittleness which will not be helped by Granit Xhakas departure

They are also likely to be deducted 10-12 points unless they can show they did not breach fair play rules using the authorised way to show player depreciation. It is apparently highly unlikely they will escape a deduction according to Talksport local correspondant. -
It was a stupid and probably corrupt decision to select Qatar in the first place and it is still under investigation by officials who are following the money of nearly $1bn that has landed in Fifa accounts. The deaths are a by product of this corruption and unlike the peverts in the UK those responsible will never end up with lengthy jail time. This started not as an investigation into the country, but an investigation into how Fifa conducted itself and managed to succumb to the highest level of bribary ever uncovered. You only have to look at the amount of Fifa officials indicted or who have resigned to see the scale of the issue. In my opinion 6,500 people should not have to die in order to hold a footie tournement.

Here's a question that will need an answer shortly from any nation qualifying for next years WC. There have been over 6,500 reported migrant worker deaths during the last 10 years of stadium and infrastructure construction? Now that we see teams taking the knee and especially the woke credentials of the England team, should we expect them to boycott the WC due to the slave labour used to facilitate it or are they somehow worth less than the more privledged black and ethnic people living in the West? Over to you Gareth, the FA and FIFA.

City, Chelsea and Liverpool to contest the title, with Utd 4th with the other two London clubs fighting for 5th -7th.
-
Thats a bit stingy, should be 10 times that for them. Leicester was 5000-1 i believe with a much better squad.
-
Agree, but i still cannot see Everton, Wolves or possibly Spurs without Kane finishing above them.
-
Looks like something Viz would have produced. Embarrasing.
-
Nuno may actually have less money than he did at Wolves and without HK or the money generated by his sale i think he will find it hard to get Spurs into any European places - maybe 7th or 8th. Lower hopefuly Emperors new clothes for Everton - vying with Spurs for 7th or 8th. Can't see either finishing above City, Chelsea, Utd, Pool, Leicester or Arse (that's the top 6 methinks in one order or another)
-
Well yes i agree and the consensus is that Southgate hasn't any imagination. I think their team would be more imaginative with two from Mount, Foden and Grealish in the team replacing Saka and having Rice as the only holding midfielder.

Living among the English, i find it is the media/written press that runs away with itself time and again. The average fan is just grateful they are through. I can see England getting through against Ukraine and possibly Denmark. Belgium have a couple of injuries to key players KDB and Hazard, so Italy will be confident.
-
And that's what happened. Many games are like that i find.
-
She may, but it just sounds like someone is talking all the time during the game as both commenators vie for talktime - there was no let up.
-
It surely can be Denmark who are not a 2 player team like Wales.
-
Think every club goes through that. I remember a friend moaning that the Sunderland kit had veered away from very precise red and whire stripes and i remember the uproar when Chelsea had a complete red kit (albeit as a second strip) For me i always prefer the plainer home shirts with no unwanted colours, apart from the traditional and no crazy patterns in the blue areas (both Gers and Chelesa) and I always, always moan at the price. It's a tradition and i always end up not buying it anyway

Think he would be a great addition. Also the prospect of getting more experience of playing in Europe may help SG over his Norwich counterpart. -

From the Record. Billy Gilmour marked for Rangers return by Steven Gerrard if Chelsea rubber stamp player request. He left Ibrox for Stamford Bridge as a 15-year-old in 2017 for a fee of around £500,000 and could be in line for a sensational return. Other press say he is going to Norwich for a year? -
Who are they?

That's strange as the Vikings came almost entirely from Norway, Sweden and Denmark (although the nations did not exist) but they were largely similar in culture and language. Iceland came into being sometime in the 9C when Norse settlers migrated there. Cultural appropration at work - quick tell the Danes? And i think you probably dreamed fans dressed like St George
