That will be about right. Just before he realises he has been sold a pup by Levy and begins making pronouncements in the press.
-
They may get Conte but won't push the boat out on signings and he will get the hump like he did at Juve, Chelsea and Milan and be lkeaving in 2 years. The Spuds have probably also lost around 40-50m of Kanes valuation as i cannot see anyone paying the 125m they were asking, more like 70-75m now, plus they are nearly 1bn in debt.
-
I think they will be coming down with the decorations in January. A couple of injuries to key personnel, say Rice and Antonnio and they havent anyone to cover at that level. Plus and i cannot under estimate this sentiment, they are a shower of so called cockney shite!!!

Why all the rush to get managers out of a job? I think Ole, Arteta and Santos are doing fantastically well and long may it continue. I wish Moyes and Klopp were doing equally as well

Giant of the game and Rangers legend. Rest easy big guy.

0-3 with Roofe 2 and Goldson -
Erring on the side of caution with both Werner and Lukaku out. They may surprise me and and go for 3 or 4, though Compo has it 1-1 which worried me that he knows something
-
Apart from the injuries to both forwards. No idea why he thought he had to play both.

It was merely an observation that what you were describing were some of the main features of the ESL, i.e. protectionism in a closed shop. So in effect, with a minor adjustment each year for the odd new participant, the conditions of the ESL are already met, except those clubs wanting an even bigger slice of the pie.
-
That's the ESL isn't it?

He and Alan Pardew will be 1 and 2 at Newcastle with Lennon as Director of Football

They did, but Newcastle certainly wasn't the outfit to deliver it

Thats football in a nutshell.

I dont think we know as they haven't shared their work to any degree. I would be amazed if they can actually link it tbh, as they will also have to consider what each of these ex players did after finishing football, with many ending their careers much earlier than todays players. With training methods changing i doubt todays players even do heading practice anymore and how do thy compare a professional career of say 10-15 years from an amateur footballer who may have played 15 - 20 years with heading the ball still virtually the same technique. I feel they will try to make the science fit the required answer and until we see some evidence it should be treated with some healthy sceptism.
-
Well lets see the evidence. It has been closely guarded as despite some high profile cases i doubt it shows cases in octagenarian footballers being higher than the general public. Also, they need to prove that modern balls cause the same alleged issues that the older balls octagenerian footballers would have been playing with cause. If proved then boxing would certainly be banned.

Chelsea legend. 125 goals in 157 league games including 41 goals in 40 league games in one season. A goal machine if ever there was one.
