He has been poor and surely Perry is a better bet perhaps alongside Broadfoot with Cole at right back.
-
To play 3-5-2 you really need energetic pacy wide men. We have Wallace but are missing someone on the right. A 4-3-3 may be more realistic with the squad we currently have.
-
Shiels would be another good signing. What sort of squad do we have now? Goian, Boca, Edu all staying? With Alexander, Broadfoot, Perry, Wallace, Black, Jig and Little we should have a decent spine. Adding Beattie, Kafes, Shiels etc can only benefit us but Cole, Hutton must feature too.
-
Shiels hasn't signed for us or has he?

A CVA was never likely due to the non compliance of Whyte and paying taxes.

3 Years Audited Accounts Required for Promotion to SPL
Stefanovitch replied to Stefanovitch's topic in Rangers Chat
Todays vote was about transferring oldco share in SPL to newco and we wouldn't therefore require 3 years audited accounts. A yes vote today would have put us in SPL regardless. -
If we end up in SFL Div 1 and for example we finished in a league position that merited promotion to SPL for 2013/14 we may not be permitted because a newco requires 3 years audited accounts prior to admission. Is that correct?

Squad to report for training â?? but how many?
Stefanovitch replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Will we have a league to play in though? Richard Wilson in The Herald writes that some of the players who have refused TUPE to Green's newco would have TUPE'd over to be sold if there was a different owner. -
I may have missed this among the other threads but did Brown name anyone? I know he said "we" are his backers but where is the money coming from in the beginning if Green was to sell?
-
Andy Smilie or Smillie the scaffolding businessman.
-
The rumour is Brown, Walter, Donald Findlay QC, Laudrup, Smillie and McColl. That's what I read on FF.

Uncertainity prevails over position of Ally McCoist
Stefanovitch replied to Bears's topic in Rangers Chat
If Ally goes expect every player to follow him out the door. It is just rumour for now but who does Green intend to replace him with? The fans will turn on Green in a huge way now! -
I guess he can't reveal much until CVA is agreed or otherwise. Wouldn't be wise to say £20m for players etc until we know CVA outcome.
-
I feel we will get a Scottish cup ban. I don't know how they could suspend our membership and expulsion would be a hugely costly mistake for them. They already said expulsion was "too severe".
-
18's and under only. We can't register any other players under the SFA embargo.
-
No doubt the BTC result will be out soon then!
-
I agree but his hands could be tied for another 6/12 months.
-
McGregor, Bocanegra, Naismith and Aluko are the ones I'd like to see stay. I think Davis will go but I'd like to keep him too. Younger players like Ness, Perry and McCabe have a big season ahead. If the transfer embargo is reduced or quashed we need a striker or two straight away. What about the guy at Falkirk other than that bosman market I think.

Who is the Whitehead fella mentioned? Should it be Whitehouse?

In full: Letter from Blue Knights outlining their bid for Rangers

I could be wrong but isn't that just the company set up to buy the shareholding like Wavetower, RFC Group etc? -
Rumour - Straight £8.5m Sale of club No PB status
Stefanovitch replied to Stefanovitch's topic in Rangers Chat
I'd imagine it would have to be. If Green not doing DD it would suggest a quick sale and newco route. -
@GersnetOnline: Not hearing good news. No preferred bidder but an actual straight deal to sell club to Green for £8.5million. Hope I'm wrong! #wrongchoice Very worrying!

It has always been widely thought that TBK were short on cash and with TicketUs departing and Kennedy replacing them I thought that problem would be solved. Kennedy is very wealthy but only because he's very shrewd. However, they simply aren't making an offer which I believe would secure a CVA.
-
Kennedy is obviously the money behind the deal since TicketUs pulled out. In which case it's only right his people should run the club. I don't understand how TicketUs think they are better served with a CVA rather than staying on board. If they wish to remain a creditor then are they able to chase Whyte too?
