Yeah - going by that report King's hands are tied and soon to be cuffed.
-
Everytime you see the name Murray substitute it for Muir and the truth may be closer than you think.
-
Suggestions that Ellis was in Edinburgh yesterday could have led the media to think an offer was imminent but maybe Donald Muir was introducing Andrew Ellis to David Murray for the first time. I wonder what their first waltz was since you know how fond SDM is of the dance floor.
-
Didn't know whether to start a new thread or post on the other Ellis thread - Admin can tidy if required.
-
I posted that over on FF I reckon they will now be changing their email addresses as I type
-
Ellis may well be talking to Murray and Muir and will have to reach agreement with them regards how much Lloyds get and how much Murray gets. Not good to ignore calls from the club chairman though I'd guess.

Dave King, Douglas Park, Paul Murray - WHERE ARE YOU?

Beasley at Tannadice Davis at Ibrox v Sheep Millers header at Hampden It's a difficult choice!

Dave King talking to Murray to take over Rangers
Stefanovitch replied to kevinthomson8's topic in Rangers Chat
Interesting but Messrs King, Park and Murray had better move fast in the interests of the club. -
Nice to see Alexander refuse to shake the players hand at full time for what was such an obvious dive.
-
The home shirt is very likeable but I think I'd rather have had a V neck without the collar and the sponsor logo really has to be sorted out. The away strip! Well I will have to see that in the flesh before I can comment however if it turns out like the Athletico Madrid shirt then - Nice

Mr Park really has to get things moving if he is for real. If this source is to be believed then Mr Ellis is entering the final straight and Park is still in the traps. Any offer will have to be immediately acceptable or we will roll into next season in God knows what shape.

1. Honesty 2. Clarity 3. Supporter investment 4. Investment in infrastructure 5. Year on year investment in squad

Reports from Spain suggest the clubs have agreed on a fee of ââ??¬40m with Bojan and Hleb heading to Valencia. Excellent piece of business from Laporta. More here
-
Presumably so + any fee Murray manages to obtain for the transfer of his shares. If the debt is £25m and Murray recoups his initial outlay of £6m then the fee should be £31m. However, be warned it is season ticket renewal time and Murray comes out around this time with a rallying cry - this years effort is new owner(s).
-
I challenge anyone to disagree with that.
-
Wouldn't Ellis have had to agree a fee, at least in principal, before he conducted DD? Having done so is his offer likely to differ greatly from the reported £33m which got him to this stage? Once he does make an offer how long before he takes control and we can get talking about matters on field for the challenges ahead?

Meant to say I passed you on Union Street on Monday or maybe it was the real Jim White
-
Yeah, I feel if Park, King or anyone else came out and said we want to do this and we need the supporters backing to put pressure on Murray, Muir or Lloyds then it would be far easier for the supporters to muster together some plans. All we have now is people saying "we can't say anything" but at least Park has spoken although disclosed very little.
-
Absolutely spot on. Someone has to take leadership, someone who has inside knowledge and a vested interest. Otherwise we'll be here in a years time bemoaning the fact we've lost out on the league and the champions league after 3 years of 0 investment and a 4th on the way.
-
Scary scenario if true. If the club have a £10m+ future liability then should that not be subtracted from Lloyds valuation. Why should a new owner become liable for Murray's mismanagement? I can see administration looming and worry how quickly we would come out of that.

Hibs 0 - 1 Rangers: Player Ratings and MoM Poll
Stefanovitch replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
For the goal and the significance I'll opt for :kl: -
That's something I'd like to see implemented on a wider scale.

I appreciate cherry picking the cream of the SPL would be less expensive but what about The Championship. How much would we expect to pay for guys like Gary Hooper (Scunthorpe), Gylfi Sigurosson (Reading) and Billy Sharp (Doncaster).
