Can't say or don't know who it is?
-
I feel year one will require substantially more than £5m but I am also certain Mr Whyte has been made aware of this. I assume AJ is on his way back already?
-
http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/rangers/241454-rangers-takeover-talks-at-advanced-stage/ A little more cautious from STV.
-
Caution indeed. Strange that £50m has been quoted or is that to hide what Lloyds and Murray get?
-
Confident about that?
-
To make the official site there must be something in it. I don't think they would post this story only for Whyte to walk away.
-
Major embarrassment for Whyte if that is the case. To get to this stage and fail really will be quite epic!
-
I would have thought a new owner might switch banks.
-
Sky story here
-
Does this actually mean things will move at a quicker pace or are Lloyds just trying to get their name out of the press?
-
A lot of credit given to James Traynor there!

Are Lloyds trying to sell Rangers.. or wind them down?

Not so according to sone financial experts on FF. The same laws didn't prevent Murdoch speaking when he was tryig to takeover Sky News.

I know the RST like publically to question the actions of Lloyds but why don't they release a statement asking Mr whyte to make his intentions / situation clear?

I'm sure he signed a new contract which runs until 2014
-
Well we did sign Healy eventually!

Some say it's the bank who are holding things up. Although they are getting the money owed back early they also want to claim early repayment charges. One would have thought all this could have been sorted out before now.

He didn't do that on Sunday though when Bougherra was replaced. Which might be an indicator that Whittaker could cover centre half. Hasn't he already done so this season.
-
I read Bartley may not play again this season. Is the Bougherra story not that "he may" be injured for a month? Hasn't he travelled for the Algeria game at the weekend. Maybe he's planning an extended break at home!!! Broadfoot could be back for the Dundee Utd game although I'm not sure how fit he could be having missed most of the season.
