    Not sure I fancy McFadden at Rangers. He would take a hefty wage (is he a bosman?) and I'm not sure he has the pace we need in a wide area. Lets face it we're going to be linked with every Scottish Internationalist available.

    A no from me. Money would be better used elsewhere and Diouf doesn't contribute enough, on a weekly basis, to justify what will be a hefty salary. Useful in Europe but not in the SPL.

    Dare I suggest Peter Whittingham as an alternative? Cardiff have failed to get to the premeirship again and I think Whittingham would be perfect for the left midfield position. �£2.5m - �£3m.

    Excellent news. Another full back now or possibly January with Whittaker able to cover LB would do. I'd love us to get Oscar Wendt and failing that we should look at Lee Wallace and Marek Cech. The latter is available on a bosman.

    Depends on the context. Was "Hun" the word used to describe the Germans during 1st and 2nd World Wars? However, if Celtic fans can sing about fenians then why can't we?

There will be plenty of names linked but I'd like to see us go for players like Sebastian Larsson, Oscar Wendt, David Vaughan, Andreas Granqvist, Marek Cech, Nikola Pokrivac, Christoph Leitgeb, Stanislav Sestak, Danny Swanson, Grettar Steinsson (sp?)

    I don't think he can do this straight away. Perhaps a year or two down the line when we've seen what he's brought to the club and what direction we're heading in.

The 6ft 4in stopper is heading into the final year of his contract after arriving from Nantes in 2009. A figure of around Ã?£1.5million is being mentioned. However, Panathinaikos and Olympiakos are also hovering, but sources in Greece say they are not keen on matching Kavala’s valuation for the player who has been rated as one of the best central defenders in the country this season.     A little harsh I think. AJ is unpaid and wants what's best for the club and is in a better position than us to judge.
