  1. The Blue Knights Brian Kennedy Club9Sports - Chicago
  2. I doubt we'll hear who the failed bids are from. The press may get snippets in the coming days but surely only the successful bid will be announced and probably not today.
  3. Tomorrow is the deadline for indicitive bids and proof of funding. D&P will then select a preferred bid and along with that party approach HMRC regarding a CVA.
  4. How many fans is that?
  5. Is it £1k up front or £1k over 12 months or longer. It's all well and good releasing information but all it does is raise more questions which then go unanswered. Is it it £1k for one share? What does that share entitle you to? 1 vote? Is there no annual membership?
  6. Changing the subject slightly. They say The Blue Knights offer is subject to winning the big tax case - a concern. They also mention middle east interest! Is it not far east we've previously been told about?
  7. SSN also report he's working on his own plan to turn our fortunes around but will step aside if a better offer is made. Step aside now you twat you won't be accepted here ever!
  8. But are TicketUs putting any new money in or is their existing liability being converted to shares rather than tickets?
  9. No JJB and no Azure. Very interesting!
  10. None of the do but their names are out there now and people will dig. I hope there are no Craig Whyte types among them! What's Douglas Parks wealth estimated at? My dad used to work for him and doesn't think he has serious wealth.
  11. Paul Murray Douglas Park Scott Murdoch John Bennett Dave King to invest once SARS case settled. Also in talks with several other investors. Taken from FF.
  12. Not sure what the fighting fund is for either but I guess that's why there is a PC at 11am. Ally McCoist & Walter Smith to launch it.
  13. Is it Paul Murray on his own plus the 3 supporters groups and TicketUs? Where is the funding? Murray doesn't have millions. TicketUs surely aren't going to throw more money in on top of the £24m. Do the 3 fans groups have the funds to hand before a share issue? I'm baffled!
  14. I find Clark a lot more reassuring than Whitehouse. Maybe it's good cop v bad cop.
  15. Given the news we've been subjected to recently this all seems a little too positive. If HMRC will deal assuming Whyte is gone then this has to be expedited as soon as possible. If there are interested big hitters out there from both here and across the pond and perhaps farther afield then that is excellent news. Perhaps Alastair Johnston is involved with the US bids. I think he's been proven 100% right about his concerns over Whyte and has gone pretty quiet since slating him in the first week of administration. We also hear reports that McGregor, Davis, Whittaker and Naismith have agreed to the wage cuts we all hope will see minimal if any redundancies. If you add in reports in The Scotsman that the ticketus deal is also on very shaky ground and administrator Paul Clarks interview from the BBC last night it's all rather positive. I await however, some bad news to follow this as the media will not allow this positivity to continue.
  16. I bet it's not. It will be a case of deflect and deny and criticise Craig Whyte.
  17. I think the suggestion was all bids lodged by 16th would be accepted. Paul Murray, Dave King, Alistair Johnston & Douglas Park? Only one man with real wealth there.
  18. Good news especially if HMRC are negotiating as it means Whyte isn't involved.
  19. Deffering wages isn't the point and we, the media and the players have to accept that. Costs are too high to substain, deffering the wages just saves the problem until a date in the future when costs will rise again. A new owner is less likely to accept a club on a substainable financial footing only to see costs rocket again once they are in control. There may be real Rangers men waiting in the wings but they aren't going to want to be faced with backdated wages.
  20. Contracts would have to be honoured or renegotiated. However, costs appear to be too high regardless of owner so if wages are deferred they will be paid at some point and after administration costs would rise again.
  21. Aren't you thinking of an Amish barn raising?
  22. We haven't heard from them for a while and we are expecting player redundancies so we are obviously suspicious. I guess we just need to wait and hear what they have to say.
  23. I read that article before and thought the £3250m must have been a typo but I suspect he doesn't have £3250m in his bank account. How much did he buy Sale for and does he invest regularly in them?
  24. Didn't the story go that King had transferred some of his wealth to his mother? How much longer can he be pursued in SA? 14 years now and still no conclusion. Would he be prepared to invest more money now after his previous £20m achieved little?
  25. I still don't know what position Fleck was destined to play. Striker? No 10? Left side of a front 3? Holding midfield?
