Neil Doncaster says a newco will be judged under existing rules. Are there any existing rules?
-
I'll be surprised if it isn't ?
-
@rangersfctrust: D&P say preferred bidder will be named within 24 hours. Groundhog day... Who will it be? Miller looking favourite or a late charge by The Blue Knights?
-
Here is The Sun's story:
-
Will D&P make a statement regarding the contents of these documents or will they be put on ice until the October court case v Collyer Bristow?
-
If the SFA can exclude them then I guess Rangers could withdraw. Man Utd withdrew from FA cup one year but that's obviously a different body.
-
The tv deal with Sky would be scrapped or at least vastly reduced. A conservative estimate of say 30,000 bears would cancel their sky subscriptions. Would the SPL then allow the mhanks to negotiate their own tv deal in exchange for a percentage.

What is the ban & fine on the club actually for?
Stefanovitch replied to bigy's topic in Rangers Chat
Is it true that the possible penalties for breaching rule 66 do not include a suspension on player registrations? I read somewhere they could impose a ban from Scottish Cup competitions. Is it also true that if we appealed to UEFA then all Scottish Clubs and indeed the national side could be excluded from UEFA competition? -
SFA Ruling: Lifetime ban for Whyte; RFC signing ban for 1 year

We've only done that once that I can remember and the quality of those freebies is generally not the greatest. -

Unless they reduce the ban, on appeal, to 6 months it still prevents us from signing players for two transfer windows - effectively 12 months anyway. -

We could but would still be banned from signing players under a newco - I think. -

No loans allowed as players still have to be registered. Club can re-register players already at the club and can also still sign players under the age of 18. There was a suggestion that internal loans i.e. within Scotland could be allowed but the SFA were unlikely to sanction those either. -

He can still own a club unfortunately - just not allowed to be involved in running it or hold office. -
Does £10m get you a debt free club and all it's assets or would a CVA be repaid over a number of years?
-
Does anyone know the answer regarding a CVA?
-
Has to be: 1) Whyte 2) TicketUs or 3) The Big Tax Case
-
That was my thinking too!
-
I'm a stand up guy!
-
So we could emerge from administration owing £10m (or threreabouts) to Ticketus, repayable over 9 years at 0% interest (if the last deal stands), £800k to Hearts and £1m to Rapid Vienna, £200k to Palermo, Orebro £150k + £350k to Arsenal & Chelsea. That doesn't seem such a terrible situation IF a CVA is agreed.

No preferred bidder - latest D&P statement included (Page 3)

Radio Scotland suggest agreement between Ticketus and The Blue Knights is touch and go!
