Not that i'm advocating for McInnes but I presume McInnes may have been a different animal if he had the resources available to to Stevie G though he would still have nothing like the pulling power of Stevie G. We have first team players who wouldn't be there if it not for him. Defoe a prime example. You would surely expect McInnes if he had our squad to adopt a different strategy from the current sheep style. But he shit in his own bed and he can lie in it.

I doubt anyone around here and I certainly don't care about the 10 below outside our results against them and at this point I feel basking in how much better than them we are is just part of the current mood. At the end of the day it's possible most of our chances to overtake the one above will come against the 10 below as it did today. While I would have liked him to score against them I still can't complain about a 30 goal a season striker who I would say has a lot more to his game than even just 30 goals a season. That would be in terms of his overall contribution to the team creating space and chances for others while creating mayhem in general. And he has a knack of grabbing one at crucial times his goal against Legia that made the club around £10 million a classic example.
