  1. So how do you refer to them? Admirable, intellectual, geniuses? And since i'm 5,000 miles away perhaps you should go to the match and commend these geniuses to the majority of the fans.
  2. Actually the very fact it exists and is a potential million pound loss is reason for worry and not odd at all. The very fact these complete tits made this thing which is now circulating widely is maddening and it's not odd at all that people are pissed off about it.
  3. Could cost the club a million pounds. That's how incredibly stupid they are but apparently being an attention begging idiot is more important.
  4. I'm hoping if these retards try to pull that out the majority around them will intervene.
  5. Appears to be real given the amount of coverage it's getting from many sources. Think we all know there are 100% idiots stupid enough to pull such a moronic stunt. It's a look at me and how stupid I am mentality. In their limited iq circles it's a badge of honour. https://www.rangersnews.uk/news/rangers-fans-a-credit-to-club-as-they-roundly-condemn-stupid-banner/
  6. Hamilton aren't a great comparison since their whole model is based around bringing through young players to sell on. It's admirable and they should be commended for it but it's also what sees then in an eternal scrap to avoid relegation.
  7. Dutch press more fascinated with Gerrard than Rangers or this game. Gerrard as usual handled it well.
  8. The obsession is stronger than ever, I like it. They drive up the metrics on Rangers mentions which is beneficial when it comes to negotiating sponsorship deals. Hell aside from this bizarre 'resolution 12' obsession I saw it again just today. Had a look at the Evening Times website which isn't a typical habit for me but there they are. Scores of rants from them on single Rangers articles while all articles on their own club struggle to get a handful of comments from anybody at all far less scores. Driving up the metrics. Long may it continue.
  9. This guy is on a record breaking roll. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50567024
  10. Yes, but only those of a certain generation would understand the reference.
  11. Thought it had been agreed on the pod mentioning things like Columbo might draw blank stares?
  12. While trophies are important in the long term King's tenure wasn't about trophies. It was about recovering from an unparalleled catastrophe to be back in a place where the club was again capable of winning trophies which wasn't the case when he came in. We were in the Championship when he took over and he appointed hos first manager, Mark Warburton. A memorable season when he delivered exactly what he said in his his first interview. Promotion back to the premiership via winning the title not through the play offs which he stipulated. Plus a memorable SC semi final win over the yahoos no one expected and a Scottish cup final appearance to add to the record books. As we all know it then went sour with Warburton and the next manager to my knowledge wasn't a King appointment but more a Douglas Park's son appointment which ultimately proved a costly mistake. From there we brought in Gerrard who as far as i'm aware was a largely King inspired appointment and so far that move has been exceeding expectations. So as far as i'm concerned King delivered everything he said he would. He didn't promise a top league title he promised to create a situation where we would be back capable of challenging for that title. No one could argue he hasn't delivered on his promises.
  13. That's what i'm actually wondering, is there any chance he would be the one to raise the flag if we win the league this season. Traditionally the chairman raises the flag and he wont be the chairman much longer. As for his popularity I think that's pretty much guaranteed given where we were when he took over and where we are now. Contrast that with Milne at the sheep where he has been chairman for 22 years. And is vilified as a loser they're glad to see the back of which I find astonishing. That comes down to the fantasy that they should be regularly winning titles and cups which has never been a habit in their entire history outside a brief Ferguson inspired purple patch. Take that out of the equation and in their entire history they have 1 league title, 3 Scottish cups, and 5 league cups one of which was won during the current McInnes era. They have never been any footballing superpower outside that Ferguson blip yet Milne is a loser. But anyway, I related that partly to piss off Craig who doesn't like any mention of those fantasising losers. ?
  14. First chairman for a spell who would be enthusiastically welcomed back to the stadium anytime he visits. And another thing. If we were to go on to win the league how much of the credit would he get? Enough to be the popular choice to raise the flag?
  15. It's likely to be an ongoing problem for sometime to come. Another problem may be holding on to our manager if we continue to excel and progress in Europe. All of the teams in our group have a greater value than us on transfermarkt. In the case of Feyenoord close on twice as much and Porto in excess of 5 times as much. The English scoff at our league and expect Rangers to be dominant in Scotland due to a financial advantage but in Europe we're the ones at a disadvantage yet Gerrard is still winning. I expect offers to come his way but hopefully he's invested too much to give up now. If he proves to be like Klopp he will at least out his contract.
  16. Is it likely to be any different at the allegedly interested EPL clubs?
  17. I think his contribution to the history of the club in arguably it's most traumatic period is deserving of a dedicated thread where people can pay tribute just in case Mr King has a look in. In my view he's now a Rangers legend and one of the most important figures ever to occupy the role of Chairman. Long live the King.
  18. What a strike with his left foot by Kent. He's listed as right footed on transfermarkt. Really? Presumably that's a part of what £7 million get's you. And still not yet 100% fit.
  19. Good draw for Stranraer. I'm sure they're over the moon at the chance of a nice little earner.
  20. Think the best use of Defoe is coming on later in the game when legs aren't as fresh and Alfie has already battered them from pillar to post.
