  1. Peculiar rant. Wants to blame everybody while at the same time points out exactly what the "genesis" of it was. Puzzling why Rangers fans should be punished for opposing fans leaving the stands and committing vandalism plus assault. Maybe everybody who beat them in the Scottish cup in the previous 114 years should take some blame?
  2. Mere exuberance. Nothing to see here.
  3. It obviously wasn't the start we wanted but it could have been a lot worse. First we did comfortably outplay them and were unlucky not to get more goals with Waghorn hitting the post etc and on another day other shots would have gone in. And all credit to my home town team Hamilton, maybe they're not as bad as everyone thought they were. I notice too that Motherwell who we comfortably outplayed and beat in their own patch got an away victory. We're going to click soon enough and pull away. And it might be that with Waghorn out inured for probably a minimum of weeks that the manager may now have a case to put to the chairman that he urgently needs to pull out all the stops for the additional striker we have been looking for and of course the problem CB position. I think we can be confident the chairman is as desperate as any of us are to secure European football next season. I still feel this team is a lot better than many seem to think it is and a couple of good additions can make a vast difference.
  4. Really poor in the first half then picked it up in the second half. If we had played the entire game like we did second half we may have taken the 3 points. The Waghorn issue is now deeply troublesome.
  5. Dundee are my now my priority concern not Europe. The teams who have to be beaten to even be in Europe are my concern.
  6. The tempo appears to have been upped second half and they really need to go at it now. We must get 3 points. Accies will time waste.
  7. Isn't it comical that his English still has a Scottish twang to it.
  8. Is this a joke? Watching sky sports 1 waiting for the match and they're showing a sellick documentary?
  9. For us all 3 points is the priority but I would like to be at the top on day one simply to get in the face of those who it would indisputably torment to see us there. Then be difficult to budge from the top.
  10. Well I don't want to be meddling in your superstitions but I think there is a fair chance we may top the league in the first week. But look at it this way. It's rare and perhaps even unknown until it happened to us for a nations most successful side to be sent to it's lowest tier at a stroke then have to battle it's way back. Rare things happen to Rangers.
  11. Calm down everybody. This match in front of a sellout crowd who could be no more excited if it were the Champions league final is going to be a walkover against a relegation candidate. I mean let's face it. If in a home match we can't crush a Hamilton team who were poor last season and will be even poorer this time out after having lost their only 2 players of any quality at all in Michael McGovern and Ziggy Gordon then we're barely fit to be in this league far less fit to be considered challengers and none of us believe that. Enjoy the moment. Accies will be duly crushed amid an almost hysterical atmosphere driving the team on from the first whistle to the last.
  12. Totally agree, the vast majority of these grunts wouldn't say boo to anyone in the street but online are transformed into the loudmouths they wish they were while adopting some dimwitted view they got from some other grunt online while they can barely string together a sentence to even describe it. Something that may have been forgotten by many is that I believe Lennon was an enormous factor in getting the insane spite mill rolling to the extent we now see. He was the manager of the opposition at the time and he was the first I can remember suggesting in any way shape or form that Rangers should be stripped of historic titles. That was then pounced on by the lowest common denominator as a war cry and has been refined along the way to become an industry despite the fact not a single relevant authority has ever given it a shred of credibility.
  13. Think it at least touches on it here.
  14. I would say this for one. Not true according to what I have heard. Supposedly it was all over social media that this was always their intention.
  15. This part of the time line is significant. Large numbers were on the pitch the very moment the final whistle was blown and within 12 seconds of that whistle "crossed the halfway line and headed towards the West end of the Stadium" This was no outburst of celebratory "exuberance" As the report illustrates they took just 12 seconds to cross the halfway line and head towards the Rangers support who were STILL in the stands. THAT was the intention the moment they stepped on to the pitch.
  16. It appears to largely blame hibs support. Hardly surprising. Anything else would have been ludicrous.
  17. Stewart Regan, Scottish FA Chief Executive: “The Scottish FA is grateful to Sheriff Principal Bowen for producing such a comprehensive independent review of the circumstances immediately following the William Hill Scottish Cup final. “The Board received first sighting at its meeting yesterday and we will consider the report in greater detail in early course. “We are pleased SP Bowen acknowledges that the processes and procedures of the match operation were robust. “Nevertheless, we will work closely with the other parties involved to ensure the commission’s findings are clearly and consistently understood. “In the meantime, the Compliance Officer will now proceed with the investigation into the cup final from the perspective of the Judicial Panel Protocol. “We are committed to ensuring that there is no repeat of the scenes that detracted from this showpiece occasion and will give full consideration to the recommendations set out by SP Bowen in respect of the Scottish FA’s future planning of major sporting events under our jurisdiction.” http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/resources/documents/Documents/ScottishCupFinal2016Report/Scottish%20Cup%20Final%202016%20Commission%20of%20Enquiry%20-%20Report%20of%20SP%20Bowen.pdf
  18. If Sheriff Principal Edward Bowen QC delivers a report with an accurate assessment then the spin will shift to accusations of bias against him. He's been accused of being a mason before. http://holliedemandsjustice.org/content/i-question-your-impartiality-sir/
  19. He had a lot more reason to become irascible than he who did nothing wrong. The referee was indeed making some highly questionable decisions but that's not why they're out. They're out because they allowed an away goal in the home match while failing to win it and because they missed a penalty and because their goalie made the wackiest mistake I have ever seen live. I still don't get how he did it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_Cud4IhGBA
  20. As soon as it says this I lose interest while deciding it already has zero credibility. There is no debate fierce or otherwise and it's irrelevant what "some contend" It's like saying that there is fierce debate over the age of the Earth, some contend it's only 6,000 years old and life appeared on it fully formed by magic spell in a single day. That's absurd and the "some" are crazy. The only some who matter are the scientific community where there is NO such debate. Same with Rangers. There is NO "fierce debate" regarding the historicity of the club anywhere that matters and the "some" who contend otherwise are also nutcases. An example of the only some who matter. CLUB RECORD IN UEFA COMPETITIONS Biggest win: 28/09/1983, Rangers 10-0 Valletta, Glasgow It also goes on to list more recent domestic results from 2016 for the SAME team. No "fierce debate" there. http://www.uefa.com/teamsandplayers/teams/club=50121/profile/index.html Rangers Football Club: Nickname - The Gers: Founded - 1872: Manager - Mark Warburton No "fierce debate" there. http://spfl.co.uk/clubs/rangers/ Reality lesson over.
  21. Yes you did get it. I can see the tweet you posted. Sometimes it doesn't show for a few seconds when either previewing it or viewing it in a post. Takes a little time to actually connect to the relevant tweet using the tweet number.
  22. No * in it at any time. It has to be in it for the demonstration or it wont show at all. This on the left [*tweet] This on the right. [/tweet*] Then the number in the centre. Notice the only difference between them is that the right hand side has a forward slash in front of it.
  23. No problem but you're so close. This on the left [*tweet] This on the right [/tweet*] Without *s Number in the centre of them and you got it. Try it another time perhaps.
  24. There is no slash needed in the left hand side one. Notice it doesn't have one over on the left in the example. Only on the right. [*tweet]statusnumberhere[/tweet*]
