  1. This isn't anti Zionism it's Nazism endeavoring to conceal itself behind another label which is in itself questionable. I think we all know what the thought processes are behind mention of gassing. What would the response be if I said gassing was too good for Irish republicans and they they were all subhuman filthy republican rats? Would that simply be using my "democratic rights" to display my opposition to filthy subhuman republican rats who gassing is too good for? Why would I even care so much about about the travails of a tiny group in the middle east who themselves freely elected a terrorist group who are defined as terrorists by both the entire EU and the United States? Pretending it's humanitarianism? Well if that were the case I would have to be Calling Jordanians filthy subhuman rats who gassing was too good for because in less than two weeks during what came to be known as Black September in 1970 Jordan killed thousands of Palestinians and in fact in just 11 days they racked up a total body count it would take Israel DECADES to match. Want a far more urgent cause than Palestinians being slaughtered by Jordanians? HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Africans have been and still are being slaughtered by ethnic Arabs in Sudan accompanied by mass rape. And is this the next step in that clubs love of terrorists who gassing really is too good for? We going to be hearing chants praising the admirable qualities of middle eastern terror groups now too?
  2. What a surprise. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cameras-set-rangers-celtic-aberdeen-8610524#Hj7PdEYSAxLvfAGz.97
  3. I see, the continental reference threw me off and they have absolutely no chance of selling tickets to their own manky mob at that price. Last night we pulled 27,000 to play league 1 opposition while tonight with a new manager and a new big money signing both making their domestic debut at home they scraped 20,000 against SPL opposition.

    Clint Hill

Dundee on Saturday will be an important yardstick. First away match and first league match with no Waghorn. I'm hoping to see close to the same side fielded with Barton, Kranjcar, and Rossiter starting.

    Clint Hill

It's definitely another welcome option in these times of facing packed penalty areas and we tend to get many corners in most matches. Big Clint may give us a new dimension with Krancjar having the talent to put it directly on to him from corners and that's even before we get Crooks into the mix who is considerably taller than Hill is.
  6. Exactly why no one is bothering to televise it. LOL The exuberant ones after being defeated by queens and watching DU beat SPL opposition which burst their bubble of the league being a walkover are now concerned that DU have parachute payments and they don't and DU are now on a cup run that could feasibly take them all the way to the semis and maybe a big money OF tie with only Morton standing in the way of that giving them yet another financial stream to draw on. I don't know which of them to laugh at most.
  7. In fact alter that just slightly. Hibz to make the playoffs and be denied by Hamilton AGAIN. That would be the sweetest of all.
  8. I'm also enjoying the pain of the exuberant ones who just because they got a cup win and hired a new manager were transported into a fantasy land where they were going to "skoosh" that league but have now been dragged back into reality with a bang. Beaten at home by a championship side who aren't even seen as contenders and that while the aforementioned DU were comfortably disposing of SPL opposition. A plague on both their houses. I hope Falkirk take top spot while those two scrap it out for the play offs then get gubbed by Kilmarnock.
  9. I noticed that too and it made me wonder if we should be using him to whip in accurate high balls from corners instead of the usual short corners that rarely get us anything.

  11. Aberdeen scraped through against an Ayr side just newly promoted from league 1 and who lost their most recent home match 2-0 to Raith Rovers. Ayr had 9 shots to 14 for Aberdeen while Ayr had 4 on target to 3 for Aberdeen. I'm not impressed by what "Broonie" deems the nearest challengers. And I guarantee you will see no one mentioning that Aberdeen just scraped through but when Rangers breeze through with 5 goals going on 10 it's all about "lower league opposition"
  12. Cheapest ticket £15 most expensive £35
  13. Funny I felt that too. Felt they were lucky enough to get the home tie but as it turned out they were even luckier than that. The weakest side left in it.
  14. Should we trembling? They just beat the mighty hibz last night.
  15. While the BBC do have a mandate to cater to minority audiences I would say that DU aren't enough of an audience factor to qualify as even worthwhile minority. An average home attendance of 6,122 in the SPL far less the championship where this season there will be no OF teams to pad it out? Contrast that to Rangers averages over 40K in the championship then add on a known domestic and international audience much larger than even that who will tune into a Rangers match and the vast difference is obvious. Hell we had 27K for a midweek match against league one opposition just last night which all alone is double the highest DU attendance of last season which was less than 12K for a derby match against Dundee. The BBC has to draw the line somewhere. DU have to grasp that they're clearly below the line that even qualifies as notable minority.
  16. After having looked at it a number of times slowed down it all happened very quickly and it's difficult to say if Tavernier even knew Dodoo was there and whether he could make it because at the time the shot was struck Dodoo was level with two defenders one on each side of him. Maybe Tav needs to be more aware of where his strikers are? Personally I think Dodoo does have the pace to have got there and he had a very nice chunk of space right in front of him to receive it and tap it in. The frustration of Dodoo was evident because he was desperate to get on the score sheet and i'm glad he eventually did lest he might have come out of it feeling a little down. Also both Tav and Dodoo were standing just barely onside when the ball was struck by Rossiter. Tavernier raised his arm to ask for the ball the instant Rossiter turned in that direction and immediately began his run even before Rossiter had hit the pass and both he and Dodoo reacted very quickly indeed. It was a great fast piece of play from all concerned taking away the fact that ideally Tav probably should have knocked it into the centre for Dodo. That's one way to split open the packed defences which often trouble us.
  17. Don't know a great deal about Stewart but from what I do know I get the feeling he isn't any better than either Waghorn or Dodoo and I like to see a significant improvement on that we already have when making signings. And after checking he has just a year of his contract to run so it might be better business if the manager is actually interested to suggest to him that he should hang on in there till the January window when we could sign him on a pre contract for free.
  18. I often had buffering problems with it till I tried experimenting with a variety of different browsers and discovered that for me at least the microsoft edge browser works pefectly.
  19. While I agree with some of what you say what I said about the team was. Not that I have watched them all but is there anything out there matching the levels we hit when playing as they did last night? Anyone think we would have struggled against postmen from Gibraltar or minnows from Malta playing like that? Would Hamilton have survived a display like that? Was there anybody at all who thought Hamilton would be a problem? And while I agree we can't focus on just one performance the same can be said about the Hamilton performance when they just didn't get going till later in the match and of course we need to focus on one match at a time as the manager himself constantly insists but if this level of performance is carried on from one match to the next is there much out there that could touch us? Regardless of it being Peterhead who actually played not badly in a defensive sense but were simply overwhelmed taking 5 goals which could easily have been even more from anybody at all in a competitive match has to be encouraging when nobody else in the SPL is dominating in such a fashion against any level of competition. I'm greatly encouraged after the disappointment of Saturday which as I said in the meantime I will consider a first day blip and maybe even a one half blip to some extent. So yes we need to focus on just one match at a time but if the team can consistently reproduce the rhythm and intensity of last night it has to be taken as at least encouraging regarding the next match and the one after that and so on as they begin to further gel and attain a peak of match fitness. I also found it encouraging that 7 of the starting lineup were Summer signings and it might arguably not even be our strongest team with Waghorn missing and McKay sitting on the bench so all in all i'm extremely encouraged after Hamilton.
  20. I will remain hopeful something is going to happen soon and he is definitely right about already having a stronger squad and a quality bench. What would it have been like last season if we lost Waghorn and in fact we know what it was like last season when we lost Waghorn and now we could still afford to lose him and still leave Miller sitting on the bench while he withdrew the entire midfield on the hour and we still scored again. And all that's before any new recruits come in and before we get Crooks up and running. There has to be some activity going on or he wouldn't keep saying it. And I also have to believe anything coming in has to be an improvement. There really is no point otherwise.
  21. Good news if it comes off and even better news if we get a new CB and judging by what he has to say about it in this interview anything coming in would have to be better than anything we already have. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/rangers/14671999.Mark_Warburton_hopes_to_add_to_Rangers_squad_before_Premiership_clash_with_Dundee/#comments-anchor
  22. I searched for any news of Fanni coming from French sources and found one called Le 10 Sport and I have to say I was impressed by the way they described Rangers or at least this is how it translated.
  23. Watching the 90 in 90 I noticed something I didn't catch when watching the match. Rossiter threads a fantastic and very clever pass into the right hand side of the box for Tavernier to run on to which he does and takes a shot which narrowly misses. Dodoo was in the centre at the time the shot was struck. Watch his reaction to Tavernier not giving him the ball.
