I have never viewed Morelos as a penalty taker. Snap shots in crowded boxes where there is a lot happening is his thing not striking dead balls at a waiting keeper. If Tav isn't going to take them I would prefer Barisic to have a go. -

I'm conflicted on whether I would rather lose like this or be beaten while being massively outplayed as they have been. We should have been well clear in this game. -

I'm wondering if Lennon will set up with the same sit back and let them come at us then catch them on the break strategy he did at Ibrox. They did back off straight from the kick off. -

Presumably they're not so stupid as to neglect examining the pitch as early as possible. Make decisions on the condition and take steps to resolve any issues if possible. In a number of ways it's the biggest game Scotland has seen in years. It will have a worldwide audience and I would judge it fair to say this game will have people watching on every continent aside from maybe Antarctica. But I wouldn't entirely rule that out either. -
I can understand the motives of the club in desiring to secure him on a longer contract. But the motives of Gerrard in accepting it are entirely unconnected to any financial implications for the club if he were to go. That factor isn't even a factor for his advisers.

Of course it's already started. A title win would see many pass over into full blown padded cell cases. I don't get the malevolence of the non yahoo contingent. While they're currently complaining about the restoration of the 'duopoly' their behaviour seems to indicate a desire for a monopoly which is beneficial to no one. -
Beginning to look even at this relatively early stage as if it's a gap way too far for Man City to bridge. Given Liverpool's record in the league over the past two seasons 14 points is probably beyond recovery. If Liverpool beat Leicester this month the EPL title could be settled in December. And they call the Scottish league noncompetitive. The past couple of years only two have been competing for the EPL while finishing 20+ points ahead of third place.

It's an interesting development and one I didn't expect. The job has become his for as long as he wants it so he had no need for an extension. He could just as easily have waited till nearer the end of the current contract to see how he felt then. This can be viewed as long term commitment on his part. At the end of the day if Liverpool came calling he would be gone and I for one wouldn't resent him for it ala yahoos and Rodgers to Leicester. But Klopp is in the same position at Liverpool as Gerrard at Rangers, it's his job as long as he wants it and Stevie himself said he expects Klopp to be at Liverpool "for many years to come". If he were someone else the personal financial factor may concern me in that he could be paid far more in the EPL but for someone as wealthy as he is and simply a football nut the money is irrelevant to him. Whatever he is being paid is almost superfluous and I can see him jokingly saying to them hey guys it's appreciated but you really didn't need to do this I just want the job. Given Gerrard's known love of Liverpool I just don't see him wanting to go to the EPL to work at a competitor. So in those circumstances he's in the best position he could be. At a big club competing in Europe but not directly competing with Liverpool. There is a scenario where we could face them in Europe but that's not quite the same thing as directly competing with them in the EPL.

When will people learn that everything in football Ashley touches ends deep in shit. -
Yep. A draw at the sheep pen is close to a sacking offence and if he doesn't win tomorrow he must win the double and the Europa league or he can go.
-
It's an extension. Previous contract or current one if you like runs till 2022

You addressed nothing and are now following that up with pointless nonsense which if it's intended to be witty is falling well short of that description. . A sentence addresses this topic? That's it? It's the polis job? Give us your breakdown on why no one should talk about this because that's the claim you made and what you're supposed to be addressing. It may very well be something the police should be involved in but that's irrelevant to claiming we shouldn't discuss it here. And as for this drivel about quests and where they're going you need to put that to the entire community since despite your pearl of wisdom stating don't talk about it they're all talking about it. Across all platforms. Forums, podcasts and beyond. If no one talks about it why would even the police or any authority care? Because in that case in their view no would be caring. Now i'm trying to help you here, you need to think before posting. If you want to make a statement think first can I rationally back this up if others disagree. If you don't you end up in this situation where you're on the fringe desperately trying to add something of on to it that makes little to no sense because the original statement made no sense. It's clear to me and I expect to others that you're one of those people who just cannot admit they're wrong. Then even when proven wrong must still try to push it when it's a lost cause. Simply must get the last word even when it's a lost cause and that last word is meaningless.

The Winter 2019/20 Transfer Window Rumours and Deals - Thread
JFK-1 replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
Yep. Personally I would be surprised if there were any major recruitment in this window. The Olympiakos guy would be major within our budget. And as you say why would he want to leave a club where he's playing CL football to be a backup in Scotland. -
Where do you see you having something to say that addresses anything? Obsessing over me addresses nothing.

His reaction is the only thing it can be unless he were to resort to Cantona like responses. What else could he realistically do? Throwing objects at him is not just abusive if it's ignored it can progress to dangerous objects and the bottom line is that it's humiliating for him to just have to accept this. Would you expect it to be ignored if you were getting this from total strangers in your workplace? Would you totally ignore it? As I heard mentioned elsewhere he takes a lot of the throw ins so he's likely to be the one targeted as often as not. This is the point it has to be called out not ignored because this isn't a one off it's previously happened to him at least once that I can remember. Motherwell ban fan for throwing object at Rangers' James Tavernier I see Tavernier as not just one of our best players and our captain but also as a truly dignified man worthy of respect and I for one wont remain silent while he's subjected to this humiliating/degrading treatment.
-
Don't listen if you're in the don't acknowledge Tavernier being struck by an object camp.
-
Chill out, apparently. And with those two words I just negated every point you made with ease.
