It's more important to them to win it than it is for us. It's their home match in which the media and their own banshees scream that they're the best team so all the pressure is on them. We can win it and if we do it's a disaster for them but if on the other hand we don't it's simply a disappointment for us we will move on from.

They should have been out tonight. Hapoel played them off the park and even missed a penalty but just didn't capitalise on their total dominance. Sound familiar? If Joe Garner can go some way to changing that for us Mr Warburton will again be proven to be a master of the market. We have defensive frailties but so do they. They shipped two goals inside minutes against St Johnstone at the weekend.

Might be argued that it matters they appear to be not such hot stuff outside the bulk of the SPL. They beat Hearts 2-1 away on the first day of the season. Big deal, so did Birkirkara of Malta.
-
They were lucky to get away with that. Hapoel were all over them and missed a penalty.
-
Hapoel throw in a fresh striker for the final assault.
-
Backs to the wall stuff for them right now.
-
They're lucky to be just 1 down. Hapoel missed a penalty.
-
Hapoel 1-0 up and looking capable of more. This is becoming interesting.

So 6 isn't so bad in that respect is it. Many of the PNE fans think he just didn't get the service and support that type of player requires to thrive. They were playing a park the bus strategy leaving him stranded up front alone.

Celtic face yet another UEFA rap as fans fly Palestine flags

You aren't going to address what I just said? And in addition come up with this "ethnic cleansing" thing? First why didn't you address what I said rather than trying to avoid it and going on to something that doesn't even make any sense to get off the topic? And incidentally last I heard Israel have killed around 6,000 Palestinians in almost 70 years. That's ethnic cleansing? They must be the most incompetent ethnic cleansers in history since the annual birth rate all alone far exceeds what they have killed in 70 years. Jordan killed almost as many in a matter of weeks back in the 70's. Are they ethnic cleansers? If not why not? Let me make a guess. You have absolutely nothing to support that ethnic cleansing thing. It's just a catch phrase you heard from some quarter or other and repeated it? I may be wrong but if so bring me the data don't just throw these catch phrases out after ignoring what I previously said which DOES have data to support it. -

And how much harder would it be to repeat it next season once they collect the 20 million plus from a champions league campaign and are stung by having been beaten out the previous year? -

Seriously? You understand that hamas denies the right of Israel to exist at all? That they couldn't care less about any two states? That all they care about is that a Jewish state doesn't exist and further than that no Jews should exists anywhere? From the hamas charter. You seriously think that's a mentality that only wants to live peaceably with a two state solution? You want to see the view of their predecessors the PLO on it? From a PLO executive in 1977. Is everyone seeing that? There is NO Palestinian identity that should require a state at all and if it were given to them then the quest to destroy Israel would simply continue then Palestine would be be reunited with Jordan. How much clearer can they make it before it sinks in? -
Brings to mind another club who have gone down that path and what did it get them? If memory serves correctly it got them humiliated beaten home and away by the likes of Molde. A team with a ground capacity around 11,000 and a fraction of their budget to work with. A it stands we too have a smaller budget than this club but as Molde have proven that doesn't mean anything if you're not spending it in an efficient manner. Everyone wants success yesterday but at the same time we should spend our budget on nothing but promising boys who may or may not turn a significant profit in the future? A mixture of experience and such boys is the most efficient way to spend our money. If Joe Garner became a revelation that took us all the way to the title and into the champions league isn't that money well spent? That also returns a significant profit though in a different manner.

That's correct. Virtually every time it has been in response to aggression against them. This is a nation that was attacked by 5 Arab armies on the very first day of existence then was attacked by coalition Arab armies another 4 times over the following 19 years. What's labeled as invasions by Israel is actually capturing territory as buffer zones during these wars which has been a perfectly normal military strategy all through recorded history. And another thing is that you will hear the likes of those who were protesting recently make such vacuous comments as that Israel should just go back to 1967 borders and all would be well. Really? So why wasn't it all well before 1967? And they have no idea that hamas demands not just every square inch of Israeli land but all Jews dead too? That can be negotiated with and lived with? I'm simply baffled it's Israel and not hamas who are the subject of protests. -
Height like that can be useful against the high ball corners and set pieces which trouble us so much and in offence too. Short corners may become a lot less utilised with such height available and a penalty box predator like Garner lurking for knock downs. The manager said a few weeks ago that Crooks would play a minimum of two under 20's games.

The Jews were always there, the only difference is that after 1948 they now had sovereignty over this tiny patch of land which is less than one tenth of 1% of Arab territory and they didn't simply take it over. They were given it by UN mandate. If you want to seek logic in the insanity the logic is that they simply despise Jews and can't abide them having a square inch of ground of their own because that in turn exposes their koran which they claim to be infallible as erroneus. The koran stated that the Jews were cursed for denying the prophethood of Muhammad and would NEVER have a state of their own all through time. Even BEFORE Israel existed they were hating the the Jews nazi like. This is a picture of the mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini during WW2 in 1941 meeting with a man who needs no introduction to discuss their mutual Jew hate. And regarding the sellick mentality which as I have poreviously mentioned marks them out as abnormal since their antics don't come from any Catholic view here IS a Catholic view from a Catholic source. http://www.catholic.com/magazine/articles/hitlers-mufti THAT'S the mentality these animals are supporting because hamas are no different. Hamas have it in their charter that ALL Jews everywhere in the world must be exterminated and these freaks send them money while hating the Jews for declining to be exterminated. -
Despite some reservations among them that Garner didn't do the business for them last season he's an iconic figure because he is a local boy who grew up supporting the club and was instrumental in getting them promotion to the Championship which is just one step away from the promised land. Add to that the fact he's let's say an eccentric character onfield as we're about to discover and that all adds up to their feelings of regret that he is gone. A bunch of them are now placing bets that he will be highest scorer in the SPL while others want to acquire a ticket to see him play at Ibrox.

The British flag IN Britain is contentious? Am I missing something here? In addition it's common knowledge that ANY money going in there goes to hamas to do as they see fit with and it's surely not hard for even an idiot to guess what they see as fit. This article from just a couple of weeks ago illustrates that. http://www.jpost.com/Arab-Israeli-Conflict/Australia-suspends-World-Vision-aid-after-Hamas-stole-Gaza-charity-money-463318 That's we call funding terrorism and if the truth be told I suspect these grunts would have no issue with that. And notice their babbling also includes 'occupied' territories. I would hazard a guess they're entirely unaware that's been an outdated concept since 2005 when Israel disengaged from the Gaza strip. There is something seriously abnormal about this club and it's support of terrorism both home and abroad because though we understand their Catholic heritage that's not a Catholic trait anywhere else which I will illustrate with a comment made on Preston forums just today in a thread discussing the Garner transfer and this is just one of many expressing the same sentiments. -

If Waghorn has no match time between his last game and the Parkhead game that will be 5 weeks since he last played. Maybe there are under 20's games between now and then he could get some pitch time in? There is an under 20's game tomorrow night and another a week later before September 10th and judging from a recent comment by the manager we may see Crooks in those matches.. -

A comment by a guy who writes for a Preston blog regarding Garner. 'Diving and play acting' read 'trying to gain an advantage' certainly not cheating. Or is it cheating when anyone else does it aside from a certain few? -

It may be the case that Garner will massively change things up front and it's extremely timely for us that the media have clarified over the weekend after the Griffiths dive that going down is not cheating it's just 'trying to gain an advantage' It's timely because according to Preston fans a feature of Garner is that if all is lost in the sense that neither he nor a team mate can acquire the ball in the danger zone he will take the opportunity to go down if it's given. Trying to 'gain an advantage' not cheating. In addition to that I have concerns about how referees in Scotland will treat his overall play because everyone from the Preston fans to players who have played with and against him attest that this is an extremely physical guy and any defender up against him is going to know after the game that he has 'been in a match' A common description of him is that he is a super aggressive 'human battering ram' and who knows this may be just one reason the manager has decided to spend so much money on him given the packed defences we so regularly encounter. Garner is also somewhat demonstrative and almost certain to be hated by opposing players and fans alike as he just seems to love to get up their noses and if it riles up the opposition on the pitch it can inly be of benefit to us. A little example of his antics after merely winning a corner. -

Do we expect Garner to play on Friday? If he doesn't he will have gone 4 weeks without a match by the time the match after Friday comes round and we all know where that will be. Also the manager said Waghorn would be fit for that match so does that mean Waghorn will play on Friday even as maybe a sub? And if not then how long will it have been since he last played if he is thrown in against them on 10th September.
