  1. Well not quite any team. Alaves beat them 2-1 at the Nou Camp on Saturday.
  2. I definitely think they will be going for as many as they can get. With City in the group and everybody thrashing the Irish it's not impossible top spot could come down to GD.
  3. Same as first half. Goal inside the first 5 minutes. 3-0 and more to come.
  4. It's 2 going on 6. You have to expect there will be more second half.
  5. Barcelona 1 Glasgow Irish 0 after less than 3 minutes. Know your place
  6. It's the same team we both watched last season and we know can play because we have seen them do it so there is no reason they can't start doing it again. In fact there are additions to the team which should make it even more potent than it was at it's best last season.
  7. To be honest I prefer to comment on things that have already happened rather than things still to happen but I will take a turn by trying to produce something for the upcoming Ross County match. You have been warned and I would appreciate it if everybody comments on how shite it was and add remarks like "don't let him do that again"
  8. I know others have different views but I still feel this team can come good and that top 3 is a certainty while the title isn't out of reach after just 5 games. I remember a Newcastle side managed by Kevin Keegan destroying Manchester United 5-0 and eventually building I think it was a 12 point lead at the top of the table and Alex Ferguson's United STILL won the title. Best thing that can happen in the meantime is that they have their bubble burst by Suarez and co tonight then be advised to 'know your place'
  9. I don't think there is ever going to be a scenario where the element causing these problems will get 'smarter'. It's probably akin to or actually is the smoke bomb brigade we get at away matches. They have zero concerns about the image of the club in the way you or I do. Their reason for being there isn't to support the club but simply to do what they do and that's never going to change until the real fans drive them out. All that being said this toilet thing is excuse the pun a load of shit. Many people including police/stewards must have noticed all their paraphernalia of dolls, ropes, and banners tens of feet in length being taken into the stadium and did nothing to prevent it. Nothing but hands and feet are required to carry out the toilet exercise and the act itself has no sinister or sectarian undertones and as for the smoke bombs they so hypocritically drag up it affects no one but the Rangers fans subjected to it. In fact that and the toilets too are a trivial irrelevance in comparison to the activities in their end.
  10. It's the equivalent of talking and saying nothing addressing anything. The issue is their hanging effigies and sectarian hate banners yet the first thing they focus on is the result of the match, entirely irrelevant, then a trashed toilet, also entirely irrelevant. In summary, talking and saying nothing about the actual issue.
  11. DEAN WINDASS has urged Rangers boss Mark Warburton to make son Josh central to his Ibrox blueprint after his impressive Old Firm debut. The 22-year-old was the stand-out performer for the Gers as they crashed to a 5-1 derby defeat to Celtic on Saturday. Windass has made a positive impression since making the move from Accrington Stanley in the summer as he penned a four-year deal. And dad Dean reckons there is plenty more to come from the midfielder as he bids to make a name for himself at Ibrox in the coming months. Windass Snr said: “'The Celtic that Brendan is building has energy and pace. In my opinion, I don't think Rangers have enough legs in their team. If you look at guys like Scott Sinclair and James Forrest, Celtic do. “In my opinion, there is only Josh and Barrie McKay in the Rangers team are going to unlock the door. They need more than that. “Give Josh the ball because he has pace and power. In my opinion as a supporter and a dad, he didn't get the ball enough. When he did get on the ball he did something with it. “Listen, Josh is still young, he's learning the game and has come from Accrington. “But the one thing you know is that when he gets the ball, he makes things happen. But it's not just about Josh, it's about the team. “I spoke to Josh [on Monday morning]. It was an experience he's never had before. He said to me he had to take a couple of paracetamol when he left the ground because the noise the Celtic supporters made when they scored was so loud it gave him a headache. “But to play in that stadium with that atmosphere at 22 years old will only help him learn. “He did not let himself down but you only need to look at the scoreline to see Celtic were a lot stronger. “Josh isn't happy with the result obviously but was with how he played. I was too, he did okay.” http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/14738208.Dean_Windass__Rangers_boss_Mark_Warburton_should_build_his_side_around_my_boy_Josh/
  12. I don't think it's about a small minority doing this. It's more about the response from the entirety.
  13. Page 72 clause 130 Not that it would stop them selling tickets. They could probably sell them on the day far less 48 hours prior.
  14. What are the chances that if this had been Ibrox and there were Rangers fans with hanging dolls and kill all fenians banners while afterwards their fans had smashed up Ibrox toilets that it would have then been proposed that the smashing up of toilets afterwards was only to be expected given the dolls and banners etc.
  15. I think everyone including Leicester themselves knew what they did was a one off never to be repeated and they now appear to have immediately fallen back to their more accustomed position.
  16. The EPL appears to have quickly shaken out in just 4 matches to become what will likely be the ending top 6. Current table in order of standing. City Chelsea Utd Totenham Liverpool Arsenal
  17. Probably not until the real support become more vocal about not accepting them. I brought photos here of the idiot who set off the smoke bomb at Motherwell and there were many fans all around him doing little more than just looking at him albeit disapprovingly. They're not going to go away because of disapproving looks.

Despite the events of recent years we're still not some ordinary newly promoted team trying to 'consolidate' in a league. Top 3 always was and still is a minimum expectation and rightly so. Beyond the disappointment of being beaten by them today nothing has changed for me and I still expect this team to begin performing. I think it may be you being a shade unrealistic or pessimistic if you think top 6 is all we can aim for when even Hearts came staright back up last year and made top 3. You think we're not a grade above them? And in addition after just 5 games I still haven't ruled out 55.
  19. The thing is this could be less than a handful of people maybe even just one or two. Contrast that to the THOUSANDS at the cup final causing half a million pounds worth of damage and being called exuberant. It was as substantial portion of their entire support while any of ours who became involved were a fraction of a percentage
  20. Was a free. Signed for a Greek side just yesterday.
  21. Some half-wit somewhere will be boasting about it and maybe even enough of a half-wit to be youtubing/facebooking evidence of the act. They like to prove how stupid they are.
  22. Fair point. I'm pretty confident it's nothing like half a million quids worth of damage.
  23. It's likely the same minority who care so little about the club they set off pyrotechnics during matches and I know there are problems in weeding them out but the true support have to do whatever they can whenever they can to help weed them out even if that be nothing but pointing someone out to police or stewards. We're not hibz. Helping to get offenders dealt with isn't a bad word.
  24. You think they are going to compete in Europe? Nobody else does yet they're still over the moon to be there and playing Barca next week. No Scottish team is going to compete in Europe the best we can hope for is to be in it.

Garner will hit 20 plus. Hell he scored in a game we were barely in and we're not going to be on the back foot like that in many games if any. I think that's the very first time since Warburton took over that I have seen us have the least possession yet Garner still scored and despite already carrying a head injury he threw himself unflinchingly right in there where he could be hurt.
