There is no way Warburton will be fired even if those two matches were lost.

After today I'm even more encouraged. County are probably more or less typical of the SPL and they were played off the park and could easily have been on the wrong end of a rout. We have been playing way below the standard we know the team can play and are still sitting just 1 point off second place. It will come right and we will begin to cruise away from the pack.

Tuesday may be enlightening. The exuberant ones from Edinburgh fantasise that because QOS turned them over on their own patch that somehow automatically means they will totally dominate us at Ibrox too which yes I know is ludicrous Spud like babble from the followers of a side turned over at home just today by the biggest team in all of Ayrshire but keep in mind the mentality. In the Forrest Gump style chocolate box of life with them you always know what you're going to get. QOS will be totally swamped in an even more ruthless manner than County were and surely surely surely the goals have to come which hopefully serves to kickstart some pattern of regular scoring.

I reckon Windass wont be one of them. He's better than I thought he would be. Much better. Hopefully his sidekick Crooks proves to be such a steal.
-
I'm still confident it's going to start coming good for us and since we are still just 1 point off second spot while being extremely poor we're going to be charging up the league when we get it together.

Everton 3-1 up against Middlesbrough and looking likely to end the day in second spot.

From a report on the match. But I would disagree that they would even consider sacking him. That would be disastrous at this stage. You seriously think they could just go and bring in someone else who would do any better with Warburtons team trained in Warburtons method? I think it would be a disaster and there is just about zero chance of it happening.
-
They were theoretically in it but realistically not. It was a total siege and they never looked like breaking it. None of the bomb scares we have sen before. They were totally under the cosh for the entirety. They looked like they might want to play in the early stages but quickly just wanted to lie down and stop the game.
-
Think they largely didn't get the chance to threaten due to being so thoroughly outplayed and pinned back from the get go and when they did threaten the defence handled it competently. They got one good shot in on goal which Wes kept out with a world class save. The guy couldn't have hit it much better. Way down low and trying to sneak in almost right on the right hand post. It was amazing to watch how quickly he got across and down on it. My opinion of Wes soared.

Yeah but you expect it more in some places rather than others so to speak. You expect it less in a relatively small place with an average house price in excess of half a million pounds which is probably one reason Miller's wife was there in the first place. But as I said earlier when is it going to be faced up to that the yahoo crowd appear to have developed a mentality that has no boundaries with players wives being attacked now in one of the most prosperous small areas of real estate in the country.

I have seen both Aberdeen and Hearts play this season. Neither of them are anything like as good as I saw from Rangers today. We should be cruising to a minimum second spot in that league. Good teams can make their own luck but they can also have spells of uncannily bad luck. Again, surely surely surely the goals have to start coming sometime. Next week would be as good a time as any I suppose.
-
Aside from the failure to score with shots being cleared off the line and all it's difficult to criticise. Probably our best 90 minutes of the season and we really should have been back to second in the table after this but instead have dropped from 3rd to 4th. Sure surely surely the goals have to start coming sometime.
-
Yes. County were never in it.
-
Long time since I felt so frustrated after a match. Made all the worse because St Johnston beat Hearts as the preview suggested they could.
-
To be fair we more or less are but failing to score. It's a frustrating match to watch. County have been more than lucky and didnn''t want to play even in the first half. They would be happy to just lie down feigning injury all day long.
-
If county get out of this with a point they stole it. They have been luckier than our finishing has been poor.
-
Best first half of the season so far but same old thing. Can't get the ball in the net. Should have been at least 2 up.
-
What a save. Can hardly believe he got down so quickly.
-
Well played Windass but should have passed to Garner. Especially since I have Garner for first goal.
-
Let's hope this is the day they begin to click after the eruptions of the past few days. There are only 3 new signings in that starting 11 and 2 of them have done well straight off that being Garner and Windass plus we have the return of Waghorn to the starting 11.

Always amuses me to hear foreigners like Peter Loverkrands with a hint of a Scottish accent.

What does O'Halloran have to do to get a start.

I'm not entirely sure where they can be purchased but I did once read a description of this remarkable device which appeared to suggest it was mythical and I just looked up that definition again.
