I don't even know what 'backbone' is supposed to mean in terms of a football match? Is it supposed to mean they're scaredy cats or something? Afraid of opponents? Not only is that totally meaningless it's illogical. If anything a number of them are too aggressive at times. Let's break it down to the basics. They played the better football, that's good. They created good chances and failed to take them Garner and Waghorn in particular, that's not good. The first goal was chronically poor concentration and it wan't because of anyones 'backbone' it was a drastic lapse of concentration. The second goal came from a foul that was never a foul and again absolutely nothing to with anybody's backbone. They need to concentrate at all times defensively and take the chances their superior play creates. It's as simple as that and backbones which again I don't even understand what that's supposed to mean in terms of this match or any other match for that matter have no relevance.

I have watched it enlarged and in slowmo. He starts going down the instant Tavernier touches the ball and I can see no contact with the boy which would cause him to go down. And if you want to take that facet out of it we're still left with the fact that this referee was so incompetent he changed the outcome of a game with no legitimate reason. What makes it even worse is that he's right next to it.
-
If it's viewed in a fast stop start fashion it's obvious he took the ball and the boy went down with not a single touch on him. That referee has to be embarrassed that he robbed of us a match with such incompetence. Aside from that which is bad enough he also booked a man who had done nothing wrong and gave a free kick to another who should have been booked for diving.

I thought there were multiple clear cut chances. Off the top of my head Garner had what amounted to almost an open goal just yards out with a header and somehow fired it over the bar then Waghorn found himself in the same position. Just yards out open goal inside the box on his favoured foot and he too somehow scoops it over the bar.

I head the remarks about missile throwing and remember thinking at the time "throwing missiles at each other"? That may be the case but having seen the primitive hate on sheep forums before this match it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the missiles were actually all flying in one direction. And having witnessed their depravity even after a last minute winner match during a match in which they were outplayed what would it have been like if we had been the team grabbing the last minute winner and especially so from a foul that was never a foul?

If I were Mark Warburton you just laid out ample evidence for why I would keep my house in England rather than ever bring my family into this poisonous cesspit. I don't think it's any wild exaggeration to point out the similarities between it and the dehumanising of the Jews carried out by Nazi Germany in preparation for the final solution. The vandalism of the bus or to be more to the point the sentiments expressed in it are merely an attempt to match and ultimately outdo the hanging effigies etc and I can only see such attempts increasing in frequency and derangement because that's a feature of this kind of lunacy. Each mental case tries to make a 'name' for himself by being 'crazier' than any others to date. And let's be frank, this isn't just about Rangers, this is all out sectarianism even unlike that in Northern Ireland which had a clear political objective. This has no aim other than the expression of mindless hatred which makes it all the more extraordinary in a nation where the target group are the majority. If I were Mark Warburton I would probably ultimately think this isn't football this is mindless insanity I want nothing else to do with it.

Something I hadn't noticed before is that even his face appears to have bad intentions written all over it.

I'm not suggesting you did think the Durrant incident was funny and I never believed for a moment you would. It's simply an illustration of how far apart some people can be regarding what's humorous and as such was presented with no intention of being any 'low blow' The overall point i'm making is that tone you were exhibiting was coming across as emotional to the point of being upset in your posts and I would say it's a fair guess most people may have interpreted it like that.. In text format it's easier not to perceive the actual sentiment so if I got it wrong I apologise for that.
-
Very true, some people see humour in the near crippling of Durrant and 66 people dead in a crush. Most don't and I was referring to your overall tone in succeeding posts not just the previous one. And i'm not asking you to please anyone. I don't see where that comes into it in any way. Posts are posts. Others either agree with them or they don't there is no intention to either please or displease.
-
Well to be fair you're the only one coming across as upset. Your posting has a tone considerably more indicative of being upset about anything than Craig's does.
-
So what is it Ian Durrant is doing here that makes him or the club for that matter in any way worthy of the mindless hate? I was going to say would they be happier if it killed him then I remembered that apparently 66 dead people makes them happy so another one wont make much difference.
-
It's all the more bizarre and sick since it was our player not theirs who was out of the game for 3 years due to what any sane person taking just a cursory look would agree was a deliberate attempt to hurt him. Even the courts agreed that.
-
I doesn't set alarm bells ringing simply because you say the word. LOL
-
You're implying relegation battles, that iis rubbish and when it doesn't happen you will simply say well it was bad at the time and I always hoped it would turn around with no acknowledgment that the relegation battle stuff was rubbish. When it's turned around you will insist you were right all along even though the man you're talking to is telling you right now that it will turn around and he will be proven right. Even when he's right somehow you will be too. That's what he is getting at.

And we offered plenty to invalidate our position. It is what it is and we just need to move on from this and peg them back when they have to come to ibrox. The team is starting to play at last and not getting any breaks. I have always thought we wont start seeing the best of them till into the second quarter and there is still ample time to get back up to the top.
-
It's a sore loss. We outplayed them and they steal it with a terrible refereeing decision in the dying minutes.
-
There we go. Now make the possession superiority count.
-
Bad miss Waghorn. That would have turned it around
-
Well here comes Nico. Who is going.
-
Just need to convert one of these chances and they may very well crumble like QoS did after getting a lift for their goal against the run of play.
-
At a time when we had silenced their crowd. First half possession 59% Rangers and 6 shots to their 3.
-
That was pretty pathetic defending.
-
A little but not much.
-
I thought they looked a shade more threatening till Shinnie got booked. That took the sting out of them.
-
Thought his header was an even better chance. We're a far better footballing side than they are though I knew that before.
