The only bright spot is we now have a quality of squad depth which may make this a shade less critical. Most teams in this league could only dream of throwing in a Katic to replace him. A 'back up' who would be a first choice in most possibly even all.

Perhaps that comment is only for media/public consumption, might be something different said behind closed doors.

Even without Morelos we still have better players than them in every position. The team only has to play as they can to win this. -
Hearts have no one who can score. Yahoos take a 2-0 HT lead with two breakaway goals.
-
Watching the Hearts game and believe it or not Hearts are currently more than matching the yahoos. With 20 minutes gone Hearts 64% possession 4 shots to 1 for the yahoos 3 on target to 0 for the yahoos.

Worth it just to piss off the mindless ovine bleaters. Jack obviously is one of their best players of the last decade but their bile wont let them concede that. He gave them good service but that's all to be forgotten simply because he moves on for the financial security of his family. ?

Impressive skills, great first touch, left footed. At just 21 a good sell on value. Stumbling block might be what they may ask for him. -
Same plan as Dave King. Get back into the SPL, get into Europe, and sweep all before them all the way to the knockout stages for an £18 million jackpot. Problem solved. And Lorraine Kelly can always chip in.

If Lyle Taylor actually is being pursued it's interesting to take note of a comment he made back in October when Aribo scored for Nigeria against Brazil. And incidentally decent scoring record for Charlton this season, 5 goals 1 assist in 9 games while he has apparently been struggling for fitness due to injury. -
To me he already has all the EPL experience he's ever going to need. Seventeen years experience playing in it is experience Klopp doesn't have and he's doing ok. And as McManaman says he now has experience of managing a big club with high expectation levels. And as for Steve McManaman what a player. Scored a magnificent goal against the yahoos too after running right through them all the way from his own half.

Yes I had that thought too when I saw this one floated recently. And if Lee wants to know why he would go to Rangers well let's just refer him to Joe Aribo. Who damaged his career by going to Rangers to play European football and possibly going to be playing in the last 32 of the EL. Alongside then being selected by Nigeria to play international football. All that seems a no brainer to everybody but Lee Boyer. -
Guimaraes were in group F of this seasons Europa league alongside Arsenal, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Standard Liege. Finished bottom of the group but to be fair that group looks if anything even more formidable than ours. It's not a small town, population around 160,000.

They say in this video that they know Alfies English is good. I don't know if it would actually qualify as good but I suspected that after this amount of time it would be good enough to communicate. I say that because I have a brother who spent some years in Germany and was eventually speaking German good enough to communicate. I asked him if he had taken lessons to which he said no. What happens is that when you're mixing with people speaking a foreign language all day long it simply begins to burn itself into your brain. You end up learning it simply by hearing it and while initially you don't know what the words mean you typically know what's being talked about. You hear the same words repeatedly in specific circumstances and it just all begins to fall into place. I would like to see just one interview with Alfie before he leaves. Hope he has a hint of a Scottish accent when speaking English the same way Laudrup ended up.

Appears to be saying Braga are defensive counter attackers. And good at it.
-
I didn't see this as I was listening to it rather than watching it. Love the Rangers delegate pointing behind him when the camera focuses on him. ?
-
Sometimes for some reason it simply doesn't work across multiple browsers as it's doing to me right now. One difference right now is that I never noticed this before when it was doing it. Which I did but it's just one of those times it's not going to work.

Decent comment from the Record for once regarding the Morelos sending off. -
Rangers progress in Europe and another good display at Fir Park brings three points, but the boys are a bit miffed at the constant dismal refereeing.
-
Seen an estimate that when all is said and done even if we don't beat Braga the Euro run could net the club around £18 million. That alone is more than the entire turnover of the sheep. An indication of how far ahead of the also rans we actually are.
-
This is the reason they had to be continually resetting the balls. To make sure no team was drawn against a team either from their own country or who were in their group.
-
Can't be drawn against a team from your own country at the last 32 stage. Next round it's a straight draw with no seeding or regional factors.
-
Yes. Group winners were being drawn against runners up. Plus I think a few of those who dropped down from the CL were seeded to be drawn against group runners up.
-
I actually made myself a little list and was crossing off teams as they came out. ?
-
Yep, I was already pissed off with it all because I wanted Man Utd or maybe Arsenal who are utter crap right now. Would have good one to throw the 'pub league" jibe back in the faces of the English as we ousted one of their 'giants' And as I say by the time it got to our tie I already knew we and Braga were the only two bloody teams left even before they pulled us out.
-
I found the draw frustrating. Sixteen ties a constant resetting of the balls and we're the last tie to be pulled. It killed the suspense because when we at last got pulled I knew Braga were the only bloody team left.
