Looks like even their new manager is conceding it's a battle to avoid the drop. And to me to at least isn't sounding very optimistic. Stendel targets avoiding relegation https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50881390

And incidentally while my petrol bombs comment was intended to have a degree of sarcasm it wasn't entirely so, This is becoming a regular feature of away games. Something that concerns me is that there are nuts out there who regardless of what the law and sane society may think would be over the moon to be that nut who took it to another level. It brings to mind a Rab C Nesbitt episode where Mary doll takes Rab to see a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist diagnoses Rab as a psychopath to which Mary doll responds with "oh Rab i've never been so proud of you" The psychiatrist says "woman you're not understanding me, psychopathy is a serious mental illness" Mary doll comes back with "aye, mibbe in your world it is, but roon oor wey it's like a knighthood" And that kind of mentality is out there on those terraces. -

What next? Last week it was scalding hot bovril and now glass bottles. Maybe working their way up to petrol bombs. -
Agreed, but currently they are and Hearts aren't and showing no signs of doing so. All four in that bottom third are in the same relegation battle. Hearts have fucked up big time. They gave a 4 year contract to Naismith who can't string a few games together relying on him for goals. He came back again today at Hamilton and by the end of the first half was injured again. And he's just one who wont be in any hurry to give up his contract to free up wages. They're in the shit with seemingly no way out of it.
-
You realise they're even more skint than Rangers allegedly are? They haven't spent a penny in the transfer market in the last 3 years. They have a squad of relatively highly paid players with contracts who will be in no rush to quit those lucrative contracts to free up wages. And if there are any quality proven strikers out there some team is just dying to unload for free in January you should let them know.

Well their fans think it's staring relegation in the face. They can't score they can't defend and that's been going on for a year. Not they nor I see how that's going to change in the next 4 months. Beaten at home last week by St Johnstone who hadn't registered an away win in a year. Beaten today at Hamilton who haven't registered a win anywhere since September. That is relegation form.
-
Finished 2-1 but still leaves them 3 points adrift at the bottom and still the second worst GD in the league. At the halfway stage that's looking relegation in the face.
-
Went for Aribo partly for his recent improvement overall. Can't complain when it's so difficult to choose one.
-
I'm starting to believe Hearts may be relegated. Currently 2-0 down at Hamilton and If it stays like that they're 3 points adrift at the bottom with the second worst GD in the league.

I have been saying for sometime that I still don't think this team has reached their full potential. I now think they're showing clear signs of creeping towards it. Hopefully a full blown display on the 29th. Incidentally even on the ultra bias/bigoted hubz forum last night I saw it said that Rangers look better than the yahoos. Of course that individual was quickly lambasted but he was being spontaneously and unusually honest. This team when it gets into gear does indeed look superior to anything in Scotland. And is becoming more consistent than we have seen in years. -

That tackle on Barisic really got Stevie going. Think I saw at least two f*%* offs from him. -

Kents goal put down to the goalie which is obviously the root of it, call it an assist. But it's actually a great finish. -

If Barsic hadn't seen this coming and gone airborne his leg could have been halved in two. Yet the hubz grunts insist it should be appealed. "not even a foul" -

Seeing claims a glass bottle, among other things, was thrown at Barisic when he was lying on the ground. -

Pretty idiotic when we're a man up and chasing GD to hold on to the ball in the crowd. -

Could have done him a serious injury. But of course it will be put down to masonic refereeing no matter how obvious a red. -

Anybody remember this? A bunch of guys from Maybole in Ayrshire bought an old double decker bus they called 'auld reekie' and set off to support Scotland at the 1982 world cup in Spain. They were filmed on this adventure by STV and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. When broadcast in Canada the Canadians had to subtitle it.

Reported Rangers target and Charlton striker Lyle Taylor has rejected a new contract with the Championship club, according to manager Lee Bowyer. Taylor’s contract is set to expire in the summer and Rangers are one of a number of clubs linked with a move for the 29-year-old striker. Speaking to London News Online, Bowyer revealed that whilst the Charlton number 9 had been offered a new deal, Taylor has turned it down. “Lyle has been offered a contract and he declined it,” said Bowyer. “It’s his choice if he wants to sign it or not. “We’ve offered him a good contract. Roland [Duchatelet] offered him what we think is a good contract.” Whilst Taylor’s playing time this season has been limited with a knee injury, he has returned to London side’s squad and is back playing again ahead of the new year. Taylor started the season on top form, netting five goals in Charlton’s opening six Championship games before being crocked on international duty with Monserrat. Taylor’s early-season form followed on from an impressive 18/19 where Taylor’s 25 goals helped Charlton to promotion from League One alongside current Ibrox star Joe Aribo. Could you imagine the hubris of Rangers if they were to take Taylor to Ibrox after Lee Bowyer’s angry outbursts following the summer Bosman signing of now Nigerian international Aribo? Lyle Taylor has had permanent spells at eight clubs in his career alongside numerous loan moves, including spells at Falkirk and Partick Thistle in Scotland. https://www.rangersnews.uk/news/reported-rangers-target-rejects-good-contract-at-current-club/ -
I think the view of it even on media outlets not usually too Rangers friendly is that the Morelos card was harsh. Fouling is breaking the rules and it happens all the time but it doesn't get a card all the time. More often than not it doesn't. This didn't warrant a second yellow.
