  1. Why didn't he give it to Dodoo for crying out loud. Dodoo was in the clear for a shot.
  2. May as well throw in O'Halloran or Forrester and go for it now.
  3. Isn't that what we have come to expect from Wilson? Unfortunately he's no picture of reliability.
  4. Wanted to go in at halftime ahead but what can you say. He took it well.
  5. I keep expecting Garner to start a scoring run which so far just hasn't materialised. Apparently he took 18 games to get his first goal for PNE then went on a scoring streak. Saturday would be a perfect time to get it going.
  6. Which was me being facetious after you took the strange view of my original comment which had zero mention of rejoicing about anything.
  7. OK you run along and be depressed that I don't care about rivals being weakened when we need them to be and keep on misinterpreting everything I say into some bizarre interpretation of your own. Can I interpret you as a bit odd? You see I interpret this apparent obsession with inserting your own unsubstantiated reality into everything as somewhat weird. And incidentally just as an example of that weird behaviour along with all your other misinterpretations I did NOT rejoice over the inury of a player OR the weakening of Hearts. Again that was just you inserting it in there. I simply stated that they were weakened and NOTHING else. In fact this is exactly what I said. If it helps your disappointment any I could always edit it to say i'm weeping buckets that the jolly jambos are going to be significantly weakened. I probably should. I'm sure there were countless rosary beads being rattled in sympathy when Kranjcar was injured as with the mass outpouring of sympathy when Ian Durrant was put out for years.
  8. Well i'm sorry to disappoint you but i'm not going to trouble myself over the minor problems of Aberdeen with TV, I will simply leave that with you and be content that someone outside the sheep is suitably concerned about it. And yes I know Scottish football is uncompetitive and I wish it were more competetive but that's not going to be changed by a handful more sheep traveling to Dundee. And as for any available money being evenly divided as far as i'm aware it more or less is in the same way it is in England unless you want to start throwing Rangers money at them in which case which no i'm not up for that. If a dream TV deal came along that made them all millions a year I would be happy about that but there is nothing I can do to make that happen.
  9. What is it with you? Are you stalking me trying to insert some sort of grief into every post I make? Tell you what. You say a prayer for Paterson for me because I was blithely unaware I was supposed to insert commiserations and I will continue happily rejoicing in the weakening of any opposition team. You can be head mourner when it comes to the problems of other teams players.
  10. You're wrong on every point and if that's what it clearly suggested to you than you and I must have vastly differing thought processes. 1) There is nothing inherently wrong with Aberdeen wanting to have as many traveling fans as possible and I didn't say there was. So i'm correcting your misinterpretation. 2) There is no issue with the fact that most Aberdeen fans come from Aberdeen and again I didn't say there was. I simply stated that they did and that Rangers had fans all over. Isn't that accurate? So again you're corrected. 3) I don't even know what you're talking about now. Where in the world did you get that from? And again corrected. I have no issue at all with anybody coming from anywhere and didn't say I did. And as for not addressing any issue that Aberdeen have with the desires of TV I don't care enough about the problems of Aberdeen to be bothered. And my bamboozlement had absolutely nothing to do with the share of the pie in Scottish football. I found your misinterpretation of what I said bamboozling and i'm now bamboozled you didn't get that either.
  11. Well i'm somewhat more confident about that than you are. But if/when you're proven wrong I suspect you will simply still take the position you were right in saying so on what you perceived as the likelihood of quality signings and the displays of the team right? An i'm right even when i'm wrong position? Right now in my view we're a far superior team to the sheep on our game and I expect the team to be even stronger after two transfer windows before Europa league qualifying. The sheep were narrowly beaten in the 3rd Europa league qualifying round and the team who beat them were themselves narrowly beaten by a goal on aggregate in the final play off round so saying Rangers don't have a prayer is to me pessimistic nonsense. And just weeks ago you were having a go at me for maintaining Rangers are at a minimum the second best team in Scotland. Are you still right about that too or is it again one of those things where you will always be right even when you're wrong? You can be as pessimistic as you want to be that's your prerogative but you don't have a very good recent record regarding these predictions.
  12. Can you please explain to me and anyone else who is still listening what makes you think I made any comment denigrating a desire to have as large a support as possible at an away match? What in that suggests any denigration of a side wanting to have as much of an away support as possible? And what in this suggests any denigrations of any traveling support from anywhere at all? I'm bamboozled as to where the interpretation you appear to be drawing from it comes from.
  13. Well it would appear pretty obvious no one is going to be signing him in the January window now and by the time the next window comes round he will be a free agent. He has been a key player in defence for them while chipping in with 8 goals from the right back position which is twice as many as any of our strikers so providing he isn't permanently crocked he could be worth taking a look at. The jolly jambos are going to be significantly weakened without him and while they were resigned to losing him in January they were expecting a million quid to bring in a replacement. I think they're now well out of contention for a top 3 finish. St Johnstone have a game in hand over them and can draw level with them on points if they win it to push them even further out of it.
  14. Tonights result was a disappointment but as things stand the main objective for this season is a Euro spot and that's well within reach so in the meantime i'm content with that. Think back to early season when all the predictions about struggling to be top 6 were flying around. The majority of it was coming from those who would have loved that to be the case but some of it was coming from our own too. All that has been proven nonsense and the chances are we will be a comfortable second place and looking forward to a Euro adventure with the chance of some significant income. And who knows, we might even take the Scottish cup along the way. If we play as we can and also taking into consideration January strengthening it's going to take a lot better than St Johnstone, Hearts, or sheep to stop us in that cup. There have been some patchy displays but we couldn't have realistically asked for much better in this season of transition than the outcome it appears to be heading towards.
  15. Whole different ball game if we could just cut out the unforced defensive catastrophes and start converting more of the numerous chances we create.
  16. Different game at Ibrox on Saturday and we can still win it if we turn up. Aside from that even if it were a loss we're still comfortably placed for a Euro spot with the January window to come. Absolutely must get a Euro spot and I would say that at this stage the chances of not getting one are extremely remote.
  17. Well aside from giving away the goal he was indulging in a bit of wrestling.
  18. And now they're coming into it after being under the cosh till that blunder. I'm going to be hating him for weeks if this match goes pear shaped.
  19. Still worth 2 million quid to Fulham? That was so incompetent it could be a sacking offence in another industry.
  20. I expect Garner will be looking at a minimum yellow card because he's going to be his usual wild man self and they will be looking to get him booked. But in reality I don't think he is a retaliatory type of player. He gives it out in spades but when it comes back at him all I have ever seen is him picking himself up and getting on with it.
  21. I don't see why he would want to go back to a league he just left and take over what will always be a yoyo team who will be regularly sacking managers simply because they are and always will be a yoyo team. A life of battling to get promotion then battling to avoid relegation with no prospect of ever winning anything or competing in Europe? What's so appealing about that?
