  1. They know we're better than them now. It's in their heads. The only way to get it out of their heads is if they conduct some sort of spectacular January window they think pulls them back..
  2. Means nothing, Christie had both feet on the ground and didn't make the heist at high speed.
  3. Saint Michael the Archangel didn't work out for priest Vallon in gangs of New York. Didn't work out for them either. Hail Bill the butcher.
  4. BBC Wednesday 22nd January 2020: Rangers v St Mirren Sunday 26th January 2020: Hearts v Rangers Wednesday 29th January 2020: Rangers v Ross County
  5. I said before this game that I feel our time has come, at last. I'm even more confident of it now, we consistently outplay them, we're a better team, we're now in the driving seat. Next league match without Alfie home to St Mirren, Defoe should comfortably handle that. Does anybody know what the game in hand is?
  6. They can look dangerous on the break but i'm now convinced we are a better team than they are. They're not playing badly they didn't play badly in the cup final. We're simply better than they are.
  7. Lack of VAR is killing us against them. Offside goal last game now a handball goal this game. May as well just let them throw in the next one American football style.
  8. I keep thinking before these games that surely their luck can't continue, then it does. We're the better team. Surely, surely, surely, their luck has to run out and just once we get a break.
  9. Maybe he could try a relegation battle at Hearts to toughen him up. Though Docherty not Middleton is high up on their loan wish list.
  10. Well I put everything I had to say about it in post #5. That's my take on it. But if you want to be as contrary as possible playing them up while playing us down the night before a game that's your prerogative. Go at it. I take another path. I have seen them I have seen us. We have played better. Hubz fans said we looked better than them and that must come grudgingly. But again, if you want to play them up while playing Rangers down the night before a game that is your prerogative. I think I may struggle to see anything more negative about Rangers chances over on kerrydale st. I didn't expect to see it here.
  11. They fluked a result this month. I will take another performance like that tomorrow which would be unlikely to return the same result.
  12. Makes mores sense than a 33 year old Giroud. Going to need a young replacement for Morelos. All the better if the replacement has been around for 6 months settling in.
  13. It's blown up in our faces before but that's just another thing that has to blow up in their faces sometime. We could and should have beat them there at least once last season, maybe this is the time it all comes together since I just feel the momentum has swung in our favour recently. We have been playing better than them. With some consistency. Our players are beginning to approach peak. Barisic has put his sticky start behind him and has become the player we thought we had bought. Aribo is getting into his stride Kent looks to be approaching his best too and he is known to turn it on against them. They're terrified of him. We have a striker who can't stop scoring and he will be desperate to prove a point against them. I would wager our fans are more confident about this than theirs are and with good reason. I suspect that kind of feeling has to filter into their players too. I may be wrong but I just get a feeling our time has come. Get a win tomorrow we're just 2 points behind with a game in hand.
  14. I feel confident we can win. The result in the cup final was a fluke in a game in which the yahoos were so thoroughly outplayed it had to be uncomfortable for anybody of a non Rangers persuasion to watch. It's been said that this fluke of a result may be a psychological blow to the team that may stick in their minds but I just don't see it that way. If I were a Rangers player what I would be taking from it with no encouragement from the manger or anybody else is that they can't be so lucky twice.

  16. Perhaps but presumably they will concede he did a great job of being an unentertaining spoiler? And if that's what they want he's their man.
  17. Same game Cosgrove was red carded. Both feet off the ground and the ball appears to be nowhere near. Though sheep would say Ferguson dived. Right?
  18. One difference is that each of those ties for Rangers were pretty much life and death as far as progress in the tournament was concerned. Killie wont be ejected from the league for going to Ibrox, having a go and losing. They still lost anyway and at the end of the day it's probably not going to have much of an effect on where they finish.
  19. Currently on a 34 game unbeaten run in the league. Doubt they're going to lose 5 of their remaining 20 this season. Let's hope it's the season of the scouser North of the border too. Coincidentally that's what much of Scottish football is saying about Rangers too.
  20. Glenn Middleton returns to Rangers from Hibs Glenn Middleton has returned to Rangers after his loan with Hibernian was cut short. The winger, 19, was due to stay at Easter Road until summer. He made just eight appearances for Hibernian, with his last outing on 30 October when he played 45 minutes of a 2-2 draw with Livingston. A Scotland youth international, Middleton signed an 18-month deal with Rangers in January 2018, arriving from Norwich City. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50929491
  21. An era when Scotland produced world class players and most teams no matter where they were from fielded sides predominately or even entirely filled with nationals. Rangers fielded 11 Scots in the 1972 ECWC final while Dynamo fielded 11 Soviets. In that seasons European cup final between Ajax and Inter Ajax fielded 10 Dutch and 1 German while Inter fielded 10 Italians and 1 Brazilian. Fast forward to this years Champions league final contested by two English teams who fielded starting elevens which had just 6 Englishmen in the 22. Totenham had 4 while Liverpool had only 2.
