  1. Mine started about 3 days ago! Been a long time since I've be felt like this before a match. I'm somewhere between excited and bricking it.
  2. I've got a Rangers win, both teams to score. Think it was about 15/2. Worth a punt!
  3. It's extra time and penalties for semi-final and final I believe!
  4. McCann always put his thoughts over well. I pretty much agree with everything he has said. Our defence does concern me at times and if we concede early I'll be a bit worried, however, with our attacking ability and pace I have no doubt we'll cause their defence problems.
  5. Sad thing is, with there not being a public sale these tickets are being sold by season ticket holders - unless of course fakes are being sold. Certainly does leave a bitter taste!
  6. Yep, that won't be going anywhere anytime soon. It'll just make it all the sweeter when we climb the table next season.
  7. Good preview as always. I would agree with the line-up. Wouldn't be surprised if Ball makes an appearance off the bench to keep him match sharp for the sem-final. I fancy us to start at high tempo and hopefully nick an early goal. I think it's also really important for our defence to put in a decent showing. A clean sheet would hopefully boost their confidence ahead of the final next week! Come on the gers!
  8. Unbelievable that this is front page news. Embarrassing stuff. I noticed that another guy on the show had a West Ham mug which wasn't blurred out. Then again, there probably wasn't thousands of complaints from numbskulls about that.
  9. Good news. Well deserved if he get's a deal. He has been a key member of the team in the past couple of months - complimented by the fact he is capable of playing in several different attacking positions. Seems to have struck up a good rapport with the fans in a short space of time too.
  10. In other news, Walter Smith is set to become the next Celtic manager, with Richard Gough as his assistant.
  11. Just checked - last season Hearts were presented with it on their last game of the season at home to us. I don't remember this. Probably switched it off bang on full time... So I assume it'll be last game of the season for us too.
  12. Aye you're right but winning the league at home makes it that bit more special in my opinion. Re the trophy presentation, I'm not sure. I'd assumed it would be an end of season presentation.
  13. Hoping both ourselves and Hibs win at the weekend. Would make for a cracking occasion on Tuesday if we win it at home. When will we actually be given the trophy presentation? Last home game or the actual last game away to St Mirren?
  14. I must admit I haven't watched much of Celtic at all this season but the gap between the top half of the top league and ourselves is minimal. Totally agree that our attacking play is well capable of causing any SPL side problems, however, I do have concerns about our defensive frailties at times... I'm happy for us to be deemed massive underdogs for this tie. If we play to the level we're capable of,we have a very good chance of getting to the final.
  15. Agree it'd be great to have him back but only if he was fit - which it seems almost impossible that he would be... Saying that, if it was a close game going into the last 10 mins, throwing him on could work. A 90th minute Waghorn penalty winner would be tremendous!
  16. Thanks for the advice mate, I'm pretty much in the same boat with only wanting a seat in a specific area so I'll take it up with the ticket office after I submit my renewal.
  17. Cheers folks, will check in with ticket office
  18. Hi all, as I'm sure will be the case for most season ticket holders, I received an email today advising renewal details will be announced soon. The purpose of today's email is to let you select whether you'd like to submit your renewal online as opposed to a physical form. Does anyone know if it's possible to request a seat change via the online renewal form? I'm currently near the back of Govan Rear and wouldn't mind moving a bit closer to the front but I'm not sure if this type of action would be available on the online renewal.
  19. Typical tabloid nonsense. Though with the amount of headlines like this I think it only serves to add more pressure to the Celtic team. I'm sure our players are well aware that they're being given little chance in this game by the media but that's a good thing. They just have to go out and play the high tempo game we've played all season. I don't believe for a second the size of the occasion will phase our management or players.
  20. Good to hear a majority of questions to MW about the team and performances rather than questions aimed at making a story out of nothing. It's clear from all of Wallace's interviews that he's really enjoying working with Warburton.
  21. Got to agree with this. Mckay for YPOTY is a no brainer. Re POTY, Waghorn is a close second for me but Wallace has been immense. Not only his performances but the way he speaks to the media is always considered and professional. He's always one of the last players to leave the pitch- taking time to applaud all corners of the stadium. Great captain for us this season!
