  1. RANGERS chiefs have lost the latest round of a long-running court fight with Sports Direct and Mike Ashley. A company in the Sports Direct Group, SDI Retail Services, has said bosses at the Glasgow football club have been in breach of obligations under a deal relating to replica kit. Bosses at Rangers disputed claims made against them. Judge Lionel Persey finished overseeing the latest in a series of hearings at the High Court in London earlier this year. He said on Friday, at a High Court hearing in London, that he had ruled in favour of SDI after analysing a number of issues in the latest stage of the dispute. The judge has not yet published a full ruling outlining the detail of that dispute or the reasoning behind his decision. In June he ruled on the meaning of one agreement after lawyers representing the rival camps were unable to agree the terms of that agreement. A ruling outlining the reasoning behind that decision has recently been published online. Rangers lost a round of the fight in October. Another judge ruled Rangers had breached the terms of an agreement made with SDI. Mr Justice Teare concluded bosses at Rangers had made a new agreement with another firm without giving SDI a chance to match that firm's offer. SDI subsequently made further complaints. We told last month how Rangers mounted a legal challenge amid the dispute with Mike Ashley. Rangers chiefs previously decided the club megastore will only be open on matchdays. The shock move will see the huge merchandise shop shut throughout the week. Fans found out after a small notice was stuck to a door reading: "Store open on matchdays only. Please visit: Rangersmegastore.com". https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/4505301/rangers-sports-direct-mike-ashley-court/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1563553644
  2. Glasgow Rangers one-time fan favourite Jason Cummings is reported to be looking for a new club after being rendered surplus to requirements at Nottingham Forest and told he can find new employers, according to a report in the Scottish Sun. The 23-year-old, who spent six months on loan at Ibrox in 2018 and won over many of the Bears during his stint, is believed to be one of six first-team players who have been training with the Reds' Under-23 side following the arrival of new manager Sabri Lamouchi. Cummings has only managed 10 starts for Forest since being signed from Hibernian by former Rangers boss Mark Warburton in 2017, and loan spells at Peterborough United and Luton Town following his stint at Ibrox do not seem to have reignited his career at The City Ground. The striker scored six times in 18 appearances for the Gers after being brought to the club on loan by Graeme Murty, and though it remains to be seen whether Steven Gerrard would be able to fit him in his current squad, one thing that's certain is that he loved his time at Ibrox and would love to return. "It was something I wanted to be a part of, wanting to be there for the 55", Cummings is quoted by The Scottish Sun as saying in September 2018. "I loved every moment. Just putting on that Rangers jersey every week was brilliant. "I definitely feel I've unfinished business there. One day I think there will be a return. I hope so, anyway. I'll try and push it, it's somewhere I want to play again - 100 percent. Everyone knew I wanted to stay there. I made it clear. That's the only place I wanted to go." With Cummings being young, Scottish, knows where the back of the goal is, knows the prestige of wearing the Light Blue, and theoretically should be available for a modest amount, it's certainly some food for thought for Gerrard as he gears up for arguably one of the most important campaigns in Rangers' history. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/07/19/rangers-jason-cummings-surplus-nottingham-forest-requirements/

  4. It was a very strange decision to leave Candeias out of the EL squad! maybe this is the result of that?. I like the player and will be disappointed if he goes, however we have a strong squad now so some will leave.
  5. Don't know about anyone else but my stream kept stopping! even the post match summary wasn't shown due to loss of connection, poor from Rangers TV when I could have watched an illegal stream and probably not had any issues!.
  6. Good energy tonight, Docherty was all over the pitch, Morelos hattrick excellent, Aribo was also excellent. Halliday for me is still our best LB, I know the level of opposition isn't great but he never stops pushing forward and is decent in defence. Polster I watched with interest as Tav was rested, he did really well and seems to be the obvious back up for Tav, however it shows how we miss Tav with his forward play. All in a very professional performance.
