  1. Robert Marshall Well-Known Member 22 minutes ago #1 Now is the line in the sand, anyone who sings about the Pope, ******s, IRA, Catholics, any sectarian references are now officially harming our Club. The message from Rangers is quite simple ' Stay away, you are not wanted,' This has been coming for years and some of our fans have given it I will sing what I want' Well now you know Officially Rangers don't want you and I think the vast majority of the fans agree with The Club, If you want to sing these songs then do it where Rangers, or anyone else, does not get hassle for it. You are allowed to think and sing what you want but not in Ibrox or any Public Arena.
  2. It's also nonsensical to blame one section, in fact it is more prevalent at away matches!
  3. I don't think that is fair, I've heard the whole stadium sing these songs, as have you and every other Rangers fan attending Ibrox
  4. Rangers v Legia is sold out, what fans will not be attending? will the fans get a refund? what section will be closed?
  5. UEFA Statement RANGERS has been ordered by UEFA to close a section of Ibrox Stadium for the return leg of the club’s Europa League play-off tie against Legia Warsaw on Thursday, August 29. UEFA has ruled that a group of Rangers supporters were guilty of racist behaviour – which includes sectarian singing – during the match against St Joseph’s at Ibrox on July 18. Our supporters have been asked repeatedly by the Club to refrain from indulging in this, and other forms of unacceptable behaviour. Sadly, the warnings have fallen on deaf ears and the actions of this minority will cause the Club and the majority of good and decent Rangers supporters to pay a heavy penalty. UEFA has ruled that a section, or sections containing no fewer than 3000 seats must be shut off during the club’s next European match, which is the home match against Legia Warsaw. The area, or areas to be closed will be announced in due course and the Club will do its best to restrict the impact to offending supporters. Unfortunately a significant number of supporters, innocent of any wrong doing, will be unable to attend next week’s match. This is deeply regrettable to all at the Club and we hope that the guilty parties, who attracted the attention of UEFA might reflect on the damage their unacceptable behaviour is causing Rangers and their fellow supporters. If any individual supporter is unable to behave in a civilised manner then please stay away from Ibrox and our Club. You are harming Rangers and that is something a genuine supporter would never wish to do. Rangers chairman Dave King stated: “Rangers is a club open to all and we will continue to convey this message at every opportunity through our Everyone Anyone initiative. “Rangers has players and supporters from many religions, cultures and backgrounds but we are one and the same when we gather to support our club. If any supporter cannot accept that then Rangers is not the club for them”. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/uefa-statement/
  6. Defoe for me, for a player of his standing and what he has done in the game to go to East Fife and take on the challenging conditions is testimony to his professionalism. He was unplayable, his movement, touch and finish is sublime.
  7. Jack for me, although I also think Davis had a great game, as did the whole team overall.
  8. I can't think when I last seen Jack have a poor game! he deserves all the plaudits he gets for his consistency, he loves playing for Rangers and is showing it.
  9. We have a very strong bank of midfielders, I would always have Kamara in my team, however I would also play Jack every time he is available, we all know every player can't play every game but it has to be good for us going forward we have such strong competition for midfield.
  10. I think Katic is a better player than Goldson. However you are highlighting any mistake Goldson makes just to prove a point, your point that you think Katic is better than Goldson!. I like both of them and they play well together, it's a team game and each player has a duty to help out his team mates.
  11. I was one of the ones who didn't log in until 18:40, had to use the other link provided but it was fine after that for me
  12. While I thought the whole team played very well last night, I thought Jack stood out yet again, what a player he has turned out to be, all through hard graft and listening to his coaches.
  13. I think not seeing the match was more annoying than losing a tenner!
  14. I would urge all who paid for the match and never got it to contact Rangers TV. Poor show from Rangers TV.
  15. 15 qualifying games without defeat and never behind in any of them
  16. Most, if not all? who missed out had already paid!
