  1. SHOCKING SLUR Hearts probe alleged racist abuse towards Rangers star Alfredo Morelos Breaking By Aidan Smith 20th October 2019, 3:39 pm Updated: 20th October 2019, 3:57 pm HEARTS have opened an investigation into alleged racial abuse towards Alfredo Morelos. The Rangers striker scored and celebrated in front of Jambos fans during today’s Scottish Premiership clash at Tynecastle. A Hearts statement read: “The club is aware of the incident in question and is currently investigating it. “It goes without saying that Heart of Midlothian Football Club utterly condemns any form of racism and any individuals found guilty of such an offence will face an indefinite ban from Tynecastle Park.” https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4858670/hearts-probe-racist-abuse-rangers-alfredo-morelos/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
  2. We see this all the time, Hearts still not won at home, some see it as cheating their fans as to why they can't put that effort in every match? Scottish fitba!
  3. Hearts managed to drag Rangers into a battle, very physical game, could have been worse, point away from home
  4. Maybe we should just sack the whole squad!
  5. Gerrard said: "Lewis Gibson isn’t on the radar, it’s just speculation. "The kid at Hearts, Hickey, is the same. "Craig Levein has had to answer that question but he shouldn’t because there’s nothing in it." https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4857951/gerrard-rangers-hearts-aaron-hickey-lewis-gibson/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1571563128
  6. Ever since Daniel Candeias walked away from Rangers, the silence has been deafening. Not a peep, not a word and not a clue how his best mate Alfredo Morelos feels about current affairs at Ibrox. The departure of his pal and interpreter was a double whammy both on the right flank and for any chance of hearing from the Colombian striker. There was a time last June when speculation was rife that the hitman had suitors prepared to fork out serious money to take Morelos elsewhere. But there was Candeias, shoved out to speak on his team-mate’s behalf and insisting the Ibrox frontman was only thinking about Rangers. He said: “This moment is for Rangers and he will only get better. We are good friends because Alfredo only speaks Spanish. He doesn’t speak English yet.”The truth is there were secondary reasons why Morelos had to have a stand-in as his mouthpiece at that particular period. There was a lack of trust, ongoing disciplinary problems and a reluctance to risk any further collateral damage by putting their biggest asset out front and centre. It’s over two years since Morelos arrived in Glasgow and no doubt the language barrier has been a hurdle but El Bufalo (The Buffalo in English) has had plenty of time to become familiar with the lingo (slang for language).Rangers already have the services of an on-site translator so let’s take the lack of English excuse right off the table.Steven Gerrard insists he has no problems about getting Morelos up to the microphone to try and articulate his thoughts about a range of matters. And to be fair, a media briefing under the watchful eye of club communication employees is a far cry from being plonked on a big black chair for an edition of Mastermind. He even offered to go and get him a few months ago so the press could ask him ourselves whether he was happy to remain at the club. It proved to be an empty gesture as the silent one wasn’t forthcoming. And why does this matter?Morelos scored in each of the three league wins in September to take his tally to 14 in 19 appearances this season while Rangers led Celtic at the top of the table by two points until Saturday. For his efforts he’s just been named as Ladbrokes Player of the Month and he was pictured with the sponsors trophy in most of the daily newspapers.Hiding behind a lack of English or not, the man himself opted out of talking, doing a massive disservice to the sponsor and his fans who I’m sure would love to hear his views on his achievement and his thoughts about the club. All good positive PR about how well it’s been going at Ibrox this term and his impressive start to the season. But nothing. As a player, he has a responsibility to promote the club, whether it’s to sell tickets or highlight one cause or another. It’s an unspoken duty of the modern footballer.Morelos may have a behaviour record which a monk would be proud of in recent months but surely that doesn’t mean he needs to continue his vow of silence
  7. Was that before or after we hammered Hamilton? or Hibs? or the sheep?

  9. Neil Lennon hits out at Steven Gerrard and queries Rangers' top dog status The Hoops boss was less than convinced with his Ibrox counterpart's assertions. Neil Lennon has queried Steven Gerrard 's claim that Rangers deserve to be top after eight games. The Ibrox side currently occupy top spot in the Premiership after winning seven of their first eight fixtures - with their sole defeat coming against Celtic in September. But Lennon, who has watched his side pick up just one point from their last two league games, reckons the Liverpool legend's assertion is wide of the mark. The Hoops boss told Sportsound: "I don't know where that comes from. "I quibble with that, we've had five away games and three at home. "I'm always going to quibble with a comment like that." Gerrard was in confident mood on Friday and spoke of his delight that his side are top of the pile after the first batch of fixtures. He said: “We are under no illusions how tough it will be to stay there. "We have to embrace the pressure but it’s always nice to sit top. We certainly deserve to be there." https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-boss-neil-lennon-hits-20654053
  10. By James Delaney Multimedia Reporter Three football fans have been slapped with banning orders following crowd disorder at a Scottish Premiership match. Officers arrested and charged the trio after incidents recorded during Celtic’s 1-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park in February. Two of the men, aged 26 and 29, received eight-month banning orders, while a third, also aged 26, was handed the same sentence and an additional £500 fine at Kilmarnock sheriff court. Supporters handed banning orders are barred from attending any matches in the UK and may also be required to surrender their passports to police before their clubs take part in matches overseas. Former Killie boss Steve Clarke called on the authorities to deal with spectator trouble following the game after several Celtic fans encroached the pitch to celebrate Scott Brown’s stoppage time winner, while Kilmarnock forward Kris Boyd was targeted by a coin thrown from the stands. Superintendent Joe McKerns said: "I believe this to be a good result and hopefully a deterrent for those whose intention is to cause disruption at regulated Football Fixtures within Scotland.” “Police Scotland will not tolerate such behaviour during football fixtures and todays results highlight that we will work closely with partners to bring those responsible to justice.” He added: “I would like to reiterate the dangers that this could have caused on the day and I encourage the small minority to think of their own safety and that of those around them" https://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/17979434.football-fans-banned-crowd-disorder-kilmarnock-vs-celtic-clash/?ref=twtrec Anybody else thinks it was Separate Entity FC fans??????
