SUPPORTERS will be aware of the ongoing situation with COVID-19 and will have concerns over the impact the virus will have on Rangers FC. The Club would like to update supporters regarding the upcoming matches and additional safety measures that the Club has imposed. Rangers v Bayer Leverkusen, Thursday 12 March, and Rangers v Celtic, Sunday 15 March The Club has taken additional safety measures including installing hand sanitiser gel dispensers in all public toilets. Coronavirus safety information will also be displayed on the big screens at the match and has been added to the Club programme. Safety advice includes: Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze. Always wash your hands when you get home or into work with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water is not available. Put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards. Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell. Supporters should be aware that following direction and advice from the Club and authorities that Rangers football staff have been ordered to avoid contact with any supporters or third parties where possible. Unfortunately, that means there will be no opportunity for photographs, autographs or meeting players or coaching staff pre or post-match. We apologise for this inconvenience. The current situation is that the match will proceed as planned with supporters attending the game but this could change quickly and dramatically in the coming days.
