That's what I've been saying mate! but was told I was acting like Tim!!. Nobody is bigger than the club! I also knew he would leave at some point! but the way he has left plus the timing is a potentially season ruining season!. Not even telling the players to their faces!. Also claiming he is moving for better salary just doesn't wash with me, and his situation can't be compared to us normal working folk! if you are a multi millionaire moving for better money just doesn't wash with me either!. I'm sure we will recover pretty quickly??, however if we don't and lose the league to Separate Entity FC this season handing them CL money it will be a disaster! especially since the reason the league winner will get straight into the CL is on the back of our performances in Europe!. A week or so ago I said, forgive my lack of accuracy on that!. I'm a Rangers fans and I'm not weird! he jumped ship, simples!. I will always remember SG for doing a runner, quite simple really, I can't understand Rangers fans who think it's ok and wishing him all the best!.

We all knew he would leave at some point, no problem with that at all, but it was only a week or so ago that he was smiling saying do I look happy? do I look settled? slimy!!. The decent thing to do would be finish the season, I don't need to hear ''He couldn't turn down the Aston Villa job'', yes he could and should have IMO! which makes me believe something has happened behind the scenes?. I believe he has made Separate Entity FC favourites for the title now!.

Well it seems I am in the minority so I will exit this thread, I am seriously concerned by the timing of his departure!!. Let's hope I am worried about nothing, a new management team will come in and we will surge toward the title with immediate effect!.

If we win the league this season we are in the CL, and the club receives a huge financial boost, also he would have had the chance to spend some money for the CL. Sorry for me he has simply jumped ship!. Is he deserting a sinking ship? He is damaging the club by leaving at this point of a huge season!. Regardless who replaces him we will be a lot weaker for the rest of the season

Huge gamble by him! it could all as easily go pear shaped! I know you, nd other Rangers fans, are not bothered by him leaving so it's easy for you to accept the fact he is jumping ship! and that is exactly what he is doing, he would have a big move at some point!

See! I'm thinking he has done his reputation a bit of harm by jumping ship at this stage of the season! certainly has for me!.

I still think there is something happening behind the scenes! he also came across as a loyal type of man with morals! he is a born winner, how much do you think he will win with Villa?. Terrible timing is the worst part of this for me, his move to a big EPL team would have come later.

Then you have to wonder why he came to Rangers in the first place then? has he failed in Scotland?

So all his talk of ''being happy'' at Rangers and keep building for the future was bollocks? I just can't see why he would want the Aston Villa job just now tbh? he would best served staying @ Ibrox at least until his contract is up and building his reputation, especial in Europe!. It's a huge risk taking on the Aston Villa job on IMO, if they get relegated and on a bad wee run then theses billionaire types are quick to replace managers!!. I'm not too bothered if he chooses to go, but the timing is a real blow to me as Rangers fan and season ticket holder.
