Frightening thought, and i just don't see us getting much better for a long time

Correct, we've just had a great result in europe,but it was hard vewing again and i'm afraid the result doesn't make me feel any better about our team,it's hard work being a Rangers fan just now, and has been for a while,we've got absolutely nothing to be excited about and i'm wondering where we are going,in fact it's a scandal the way Rangers are performing

Have to agree with that mate, i'm not one who slags players of, but i just don't see Svensons strengths, normally you could say, oh! he's not much of a passer but he's good in the air or vice versa or something good in his game.........i just can't see anything in him IMO

Right, Celtic got a great result are into the later stages of europe and have stated they will strengthen and continue strengthening. We got a great result and we have qualified for the later stages of europe and we have stated.......................well what are Rangers going to state?....i don't know how much money we'll get, 4 million, and i am wondering how much money in total we actually have to spend now, but i'm quite sure we have enough to sign a couple of decent centre halves and if possible even a couple more signings whoever they might be.But surely we have to start catching Celtic up now or i fear will we ever be able to catch them up.Now this is not a panic statement just a real concern of mine, i know money is tight but we simply can't just turn round and say we cannot afford to buy players, because if that is the case then is it the end for Rangers as a dominant force in Scottish,[european], football.

I know exactly what you're saying mate, however i really believe if the defence was solid and we don't loose piss poor schoolboy goals our midfield is as good as anything in the SPL, you can turn round what you said and say a good defence allows the midfield to attack more not having to worry about defending

Fair enough, but i would rather see any money we have spent on our problem, the problem being WE CANNOT DEFEND HIGH BALLS INTO THE BOX, buy a decent centre half or two.

Well if anybody wants to slag Hutton off they can, however they obviously just don't want him in the team,Barry was outstanding,Dado worked his socks off as did Novo,Mcgregor was solid and had a good few saves, the rest........well where do you start.....if Svenson's a centre half then i'm an astronaut......how weak are we through the middle......embarasingly weak....i honestly think if we could get a good center half i think we would be not a bad team......but we won and we're through to the next round...PLG,DM we need a centre half.........!!!!!!

I'm not doubting his talent, i'm just not a fan of getting young players on loan, i'd rather see some of our own youngsters getting a run, if we are going to be usng young players why breed other teams youths, it would be better in the long run to get our own guys in the first team

By all accounts the players you mention are all doing good, so as far as i'm concerned we have plenty young players, if we can't buy experienced players then we could try and get a couple on loan
