We have all had our doubts to some extent since Gio came in, for me even at one point I was thinking the players aren't getting his tactics! or they don't like the set up! are they playing for him?. Well that performance eased my concerns! they reacted alright! and yes still a few errors in there however I believe they are all in it together and as long as they maintain the hard work and tempo, playing on the front foot then we will be in with a great chance of 2 in a row!

I wouldn't be too bothered if McGregor was left out as we have a very good keeper to come in to replace him! however I don't buy into this McGregor should be dropped theory!. McGregor is still our best keeper IMO, it's the word ''dropped'' I find a bit irritating like he is done or he is shite! which he certainly is not!. To me it's scapegoating which is not a thing I like! the man performed heroics in the match against them and if not for him we might have went in at half time 5/6 down! Jon McGlaughlin is a good keeper but is still 2nd to McGregor in ability, IMO. He did have a nightmare against Ross County, but what keeper hasn't had a nightmare in games?. He was badly let down by the rest of the team against them on Wednesday yet still had a cracking game.

Tav and Barisic are not great defenders, however both have been crucial in what success we have achieved while both of them have been here!. So overall I would describe him like that, all about opinions

I blame the tactics for Tav's drop in form as much as anything, he loves getting forward but obviously he is being told to sit back

I think Borna will struggle to get back into the team, Bassey is much stronger and faster than Borna

We have been poor for a while, before SG left, we seem to have got worse under Gio, but is that understandable with a new manager? I'm not sure. The way we set up has been worrying since Gio came in for sure, but the rot was there before he came in. However the drop in individual performances by a lot of players is more worrying. Having said all that we can only hope things start to improve, and quickly.
