Correct MF, it is a sad day when you have to resort to this when spending a lot of money to support your team @ home, but this is the way to go.
-
I think we are in for a very tough game tonight, but if the fans can get some noise generated I think this game is there to win. Rangers 2 Davis,Miller Stuttgart 1
-
It is not over by any means, despite the mhedia telling us this, we MUST win this game tonight, then win our last game and we're through to the last 16,as long as Unirea get beat............I think !!
-
I wouldn't drop Wilson for him, just tempted to use him somewhere else in the team. However if he is disliked as the rumours suggest then he shouldn't get near the team, ever.
-
I have also heard that, don't know how much truth there is in it?,doesn't really explain his actions, if he was returning from international duty whe he should have been then he would be playing regularly ??
-
I don't think he should start, however this is a massive game and he is one of our better players also the best way to sell a player is play him in these type of games, can we win without him??.Hard choice.

By ROBERT GRIEVE Published: 24 Nov 2009 Add a comment Add a comment (0) KENNY MILLER last night launched an astonishing attack on Rangers team-mate Madjid Bougherra. Bougherra went AWOL for a third time after helping Algeria qualify for the World Cup. He only returned to Scotland on Saturday night - three days after his international game. The stopper missed the SPL clash with Kilmarnock but could return for tonight's Champions League showdown with Stuttgart. Asked if he felt Bougherra was guilty of showing a lack of respect for his team-mates, Miller hit out: "In a way, yes. "If you're given a time to come back, you come back, simple as that. You never have any problem like this when any of the Irish lads go away, or us Scottish lads. "I don't see why this should happen just because you are a foreigner going away. "He's qualified for the World Cup, which is fair enough, but we have a job to do here. "Rangers pay our wages and when we're asked to come back we've got to come back. "We want Madjid in the team. There's no doubt he's one of our best players. "If him not coming back on time is playing havoc with the team then it's disappointing. "I don't really know what is going on with him not coming back. "It's something the manager will sort out and I'm sure whatever decision he makes will be the right one. "He seems happy enough in the dressing room so I don't see any reason why he would want to stay away." http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/2743214/Youve-shown-us-no-respect.html

Wigan's players are to personally refund Latics fans who bought tickets at the DW Stadium for the 9-1 hammering at Tottenham on Sunday. Wigan took a large following to White Hart Lane for the defeat, the second heaviest in Premier League history. "We feel that as a group of players we badly let down our supporters yesterday," said Wigan captain Mario Melchiot via the official club website. "This is a gesture we have to make and pay them back for their loyalty." Wigan are the first team to concede nine goals in a Premier League match since Manchester United beat Ipswich 9-0 at Old Trafford in 1995. The Latics have conceded 13 goals in their previous two matches and now sit only three places and three points above the relegation zone with a goal difference of -17. 606: DEBATE These results come along every now and again, it happens, it's just not nice when it's your turn dependabledennis "There is not a lot else to say, just that as a group of professionals we were embarrassed by the way we performed, we feel it was below our standards and this (the refund) is something we feel we owe to the fans," admitted Melchiot. "Now we have to draw a line under the game, focus completely on training this week and bounce back on Saturday. "We are professionals, we will take it on the chin and move on but it's important that we do not take our supporters for granted." Striker Jermain Defoe did most of the damage for Spurs, scoring five goals in the club's highest top-flight win. Peter Crouch, Aaron Lennon and Niko Krancjar also scored and the unfortunate Wigan keeper Chris Kirkland scored an own goal. Paul Scharner scored the Latics' goal. The club has confirmed that every supporter who bought a ticket from the DW Stadium for the game on Saturday should contact the ticket office and a full refund will be offered to them. Refunds must be claimed on or before Friday 4th December 2009. "The players have asked me not to release details of the amount [they will be repaying] but they wanted to make the gesture," Wigan's head of media and publications Ed Jones told BBC Radio 5 live. "Maybe it would have been different if it was a home game," he admitted. "It was a shock to the system, they're professionals and they've been through a bit of a humiliation. "The club is a small, family-run institution, we're all in it together and it has not been pleasant." Wigan return to action when they host Sunderland this weekend. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/wigan_athletic/8374893.stm

HA HA, You couldn't make this shit up !!, over on KDS they have started a new thread.......................wait for it.....................................Supporters, are we the friendliest ?: Having lived in Tenerife now for the best part of two years now, I have noticed something that I was wondering is unqiue to our supporters, obviously when I (or anyone else) walk into the various celtic/irish boozers, we seem to give a customary nod or acknowledgement of some sort. My girlfriend is from Halifax and she find this strange as her team's fans (Leeds Utd) do not seem to partake in anything similar. Even walking about town if a hoops is spotted or I am wearing the Hoops I find myself saying Hi or give a nod or been acknowledged myself. This maybe an age old question but are we the friendliest fans around ??? Has other folk had experinces similar to this ??? Hail Hail Tenerife CSC

Thing is,if Rangers won all their league games between now and the end of the season, the MOPES lost all theirs, you'd still hear them say '' we are a better team than Rangers, they're pure pish man ''. TWATS

GERMAN BUNDESLIGA 1994 Bayern Munich 2 Nuremberg 1 Struggling Nuremberg lost when the referee decided, despite protests, that Thomas Helmer had scored for Bayern. Television evidence showed the ball had not crossed the line and in an unprecedented move, the German FA ordered the game to be replayed: Bayern won 5-0. This can't be compared I wouldn't have thought. Individual Associations can make these decisions, I could be wrong of course ?.

Skysports report: Rangers could return to top of the SPL table on Saturday with success over Kilmarnock at Ibrox. Gers boss Walter Smith could rest Madjid Bougherra after he helped Algeria qualify for the World Cup finals in midweek. Smith has decided to give him the weekend off so that he is fresh and ready for their crucial UEFA Champions League clash against Stuttgart next week. DaMarcus Beasley is struggling with a hamstring strain and will miss the visit of Killie but, like Bougherra, should be fit for Tuesday's game. Steven Whittaker has recovered from a hamstring injury but midfielder Pedro Mendes is still sidelined with a knee problem. http://www.skysports.com/football/match_preview/0,19764,11065_3150148,00.html
