We also have Broadfoot on the come back, not exactly the answer but if he can recapture his pre-injury form then it will help
-
Alan Lowing is another who seems to have dropped of the radar a wee bit,as far as the first team is concerned
-
I didn't mean you were thinking he wasn't good enough Zappa, just a general comment. Also Greg Wylde was supposed to be the next high hope for Rangers and he is a left back as well..........................where are all our up and coming right backs ??????
-
Kinniburgh seems to be getting good reports
-
Cheers Zappa, doesn't mean to say he is not good enough, Wilson has came in and done a fantastic job
-
Another point to remember is that Algeria have the right to take Bougherra before the OF game, doesn't mean to say he will go?
-
I think there were many fans saying not to drop Alexander for McGregor as he had done nothing wrong, however McGregor is the better keeper,IMO.
-
Ross Perry is due back in January,I think, he is playing regularly for Oxford although I'm not sure of his form, and is a couple of years older than Wilson, I don't think I'd play the two of them together, but having said that they have always played together for Rangers and Scotland

Is Green not the current England no1 just now ?

McCulloch reckons we may be forced to sell now

It could have been worse,if BF was still here he would have made the other midfielders play even worse -
I wonder if he will play against the SHEEP ?
-
I for one wasn't expecting him to play in this fixture anyway
-
The Stuttgart fans showed how to support your team last night, they were immense

I'm afraid this is all we've got,and I don't think it's going to get much better soon
-
I just don't see the point in leaving him out for such an important game Pete and if WS wants rid of him then keeping him on the bench does not help that,IMO. As for his fine, that could be handed to the fans that have already booked up to go to Spain for the last CL game as a bit of compensation
-
Still think I would have played him last night and fined him heavy for his antics, it puts him in the shop window and might have helped us win last night
-
Fair enough, so he will sit on the bench until January when he will rejoin Algeria
-
I remember last season I was praying that we win the league mainly for the cash, and obviously another title, but mainly for the cash, at the same time I never thought we were good enough to compete at this level which has been proved with this campaign, however I believe fans expectations rise once the group section was drawn, as did mine, but what has happened with this run is only really taking me back to last seasons' thoughts that we are not good enough to compete in the CL
-
What is WS expected to do with Bougherra now ?. Ok, he was dropped for last nights must win game in which if we had won not only might have put us in a better position to extend our European run but would have picked up some much needed cash. While a lot of fans agree with that decision, myself included to a certain extent although I might have been tempted to play him @ RB and push Whittaker to RM because of the importance of the game and he is one of our best players,if not the best. However, he was dropped, we got beat and now my question is when does WS bring him back in to the team ?,see for me I don't see the point in dropping him for last nights game if he comes straight back in up @ the land of the SHEEP !!,so when does he come back in ?

Rangers 0 - 2 Stuttgart: Player Ratings and MoM Poll
ian1964 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Aye,McGregor for me as well, although I thought Wilson played like a veteran,he could have been given a torrid time tonight up against the best strikers he has faced so far in his career but stood up to the challenge well. -
Why post on these threads then?,'' bury their heads in the sand '', '' pointless topics '', ignorant '', really intelligent post Victor, away you and do one if at least just to give everybody peace
-
The Stuttgart fans were superb tonight, very loud and sang for the whole game, unfortunately our fans didn't but then again I suppose our fans had nothing to sing about
