  1. I wouldn't blame him either if he left for 1st team football. He has been unlucky, but it's all about opinions, and IMO McGregor is the better keeper. It will be interesting if somebody comes in with a bid for McGregor, maybe Rangers will accept, leaving Alexander the no1 ?.
  2. Let's start a campaign to bring Buffel back :fish:
  3. Last 32 draw: Rubin Kazan v Hapoel Tel Aviv Athletic Bilbao v Anderlecht FC Copenhagen v Marseille Panathinaikos v Roma Atletico Madrid v Galatasaray Ajax v Juventus Club Brugge v Valencia Fulham v Shakhtar Donetsk Liverpool v Unirea Urziceni Hamburg v PSv Eindhoven Villarreal v Wolfsburg Standard Liege v FC Salzburg FC Twente v Werder Bremen Lille v Fenerbahce Everton v Sporting Lisbon Hertha Berlin v Benfica First leg ties to be played February 18th, second leg ties to be played February 25th.
  4. Europa League: 1235: We're moving on to the last 16 draw now, but before we do: if you weren't watching that on telly, you missed a priceless moment after Liverpool drew Romanian side Unirea Urziceni. The camera panned to the watching Kenny Dalglish, who picked up his mobile and, face screwed up in concentration, tried to start texting the draw.

  6. Wonder if TBO will be giving this laldy tomorrow ?
  7. SCOTLAND will almost certainly lose one of its two Champions League places the season after next as Belgium yet again put the boot in to our crumbling Uefa co-efficient. As we revealed last week, Standard Liegeââ?¬â?¢s dramatic last-gasp equaliser against AZ Alkmaar in the Champions League tie saw the axe hover on one of the SPL slots in Europeââ?¬â?¢s premier competition for season 2011-12. Now, in news that will come as a devastating financial blow to the Old Firm, Brugge and Anderlecht have inflicted more serious damage which will almost certainly prove to be fatal. This week those two Belgian clubs added four co-efficient points to their overall ranking with excellent wins over Toulouse and Ajax ââ?¬â??whilst Scotlandââ?¬â?¢s ranking was boosted by just one point after Celticââ?¬â?¢s amazing comeback in their 3-3 draw with Rapid Vienna last night. Our country co-efficient now stands at 25.791 with Belgiumââ?¬â?¢s at 24.900. But whilst the six Scottish teams are out of European competition before Christmas, the Belgians will have Liege, Brugge and Anderlecht all in todayââ?¬â?¢s draw for the Europa League last 32. In laymanââ?¬â?¢s terms, the three Belgian clubs have to make up 0.892 to overtake Scotland ââ?¬â?? the equivalent of two wins and a draw, or a win and three draws from the six guaranteed ties that they have in February. Should they achieve those required results Belgium will leapfrog Scotland into 15th place in Uefaââ?¬â?¢s ranking and the implications will be a colossal nightmare for the Old Firm. Under Uefaââ?¬â?¢s complex rules the route to qualifying for the group stages will then become fraught with difficulty in season 2011-12 with whoever wins the SPL title still facing tough qualifying matches. As it stands, next season is probably the last campaign when those who celebrate a title win also celebrate a golden ticket into the group stages of the Champions League. If, as generally tends to be the case, the Champions League winners of this seasonââ?¬â?¢s tournament are in the competition for next term courtesy of their domestic placing, then the winners of this seasonââ?¬â?¢s SPL have nothing to worry about since they go directly into the group stages. However, it will be the last time such a scenario unfolds with menacing qualifiers lying in wait for the following season. The fact that there have been six teams in Europe has also been particularly disastrous for Scotlandââ?¬â?¢s co-efficient since any points that have been picked up have had to be divided by the number of clubs competing that season. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/editor-s-picks-ignore/on-the-brink-of-disaster-1.993178
  8. Bump Bump,it's Friday again
  9. I don't see Burke & Adam that much other than the brief highlights we get, however I don't see them playing that much better than they did when they were with Rangers, maybe they are playing more regularly.Out of all the recent players that have left you can say Cuellar & Ferguson are playing at a higher standard after having performed well for Rangers,Burke & Adam have yet to do that,IMO.
  10. A lot of the time it will be that they get the kick up the arse by being punted from Rangers and show a desire to prove themselves as players and try and prove Rangers wrong for letting them go
  11. Rangers song. Boydy [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mmje8ZiYn18]YouTube- Rangers song. Boydy[/ame]
  12. Don't suppose he can do much worse than Bungling Burley
  13. I don't,but I hope you're right, I just think the guy is a complete twat
  14. Feck them, not as much confidence as we took from Tannadice
  15. The two worst teams in the group though
  16. too late,3-3
  17. You can see why these two are fighting it out to see who is the worst in the group, both are gash
  18. If this is the best Scotland can come up with we really are struggling
  19. It wouldn't surprise me,both teams are pish
  20. I think Rapid have chucked it
  21. Aye,and that's only because we have had good keepers and they are just trying to make him out to be something special,if he was as good as the MOPES think he is he would be long gone by now, just the same as the rest of their multi million pound players
  22. Boruc is,and always will be, a very average keeper
  23. 3-1 now,Fortune,poor defending
  24. -7 deg ,hopefully they will all catch the flu
