Agreed Craig,I was just making reference to the way the MOPE in black dished out cards to Rangers players for nothing tackles
-
Depends if Miller plays IMO, if he does play I reckon we will hump the MOPES 3-1,if he doesn't play we'll hump them 3-1 :-]
-
Who's doing the game at the piggery ?. Let's get the build up started
-
Never a red card IMO,Dods had already hacked Miller down for the penalty,no booking, and wrestles with Miller then feigns injury,no booking. I won't hold my breath for this to be rescinded.

You really couldn't make this shit up.................BRILLIANT

With Craig Levein in the directors' box, Boyd provided the perfect illustration of why his return to international football is so obviously desirable for the new Scotland manager, irrespective of how poorly it may be received by a sizeable constituency of the Tartan Army. Boyd's stock with the Rangers supporters has never been higher and his quickfire pillaging of the United defence had them rocking in the aisles as the stadium PA announcer greeted each goal with a reminder of where it placed the striker in relation to Larsson's SPL benchmark. http://sport.scotsman.com/sport/Fivegoal-Boyd-sends-chill-down.5947986.jp

And wht's the chances of that happening ?

It is as far as I know, superb.

Yip,they are there to be shot at when things are not going so well with plenty shooters at the ready ,so it's only fair to tribute to them all for giving us something to be proud of again, what a month we've had blowing all the pretenders away with style, graft & goals, long may it continue,or at least continue into the piggery to start another TIMPLOSION. And well done Sir Boyd of Rangers :spl:

Aye,but lets not forget we only scored that amount of goals because all the teams lay down to us,plus all the bad defending and goal keeping, all the penalties we got, off side goals, mason refs............................... :spl:

RANGERS' vital clash with Dundee United definitely goes ahead tonight after a successful inspection this morning of the surrounding areas at Ibrox by the club and police. Four of the scheduled SPL matches have already fallen victim to the severe weather in Scotland but it's all systems go at Ibrox. Walter Smith's side will be bidding to open up a seven-point lead ahead of Sunday's New Year Old Firm showdown with a win and, of course, are fresh from a 3-0 victory over United at Tannadice on December 15. A club statement today reads: "Tonight's match is definitely on. Groundstaff have been working on the surrounding areas and there was a successful pre-match inspection of the stadium and its environs at 11.00am this morning."

TBH,I do think he will keep the same team, with the obvious change being probably Wilson for Bougherra. If Beasley doesn't make it maybe he will bring back Whittaker at RM ?, alternatives being Lafferty or Naismith if his injury has cleared up, but as always trying to second guess WS is hard,he may even put Broadfoot in beside Weir with Whittaker in at RB, but for me I'd play Wilson as he has shown he can handle the big occasion and won't let anyone down, and I'd have Whittaker at RM as he is more suited there than Lafferty if Beasley doesn't make it.
-
That's my point Craig, is it just coincidence that the players who were hounded out were Rangers players ?, I don't think so. Why any supporters would want there best players out is beyond me and tells me they are not supporters
-
But that is not the same Pete, you'll always get fans slagging their own players because they think they are shit. You wouldn't have heard them shouting dirty HUN BASTARDS, I've heard that at a Scotland game. On my last post I said about the TA booing BF & Greegs, can you explain that ?. When all this fiasco was going on the radio phone ins were full of TA members looking to hang these guys and a certain person from the TA, Hamish Husband, who is the TA spokesman, said the majority of the TA did not want BF,AM or Boyd back in a Scotland jersey, yet were quite happy to ignore all the other players who were involved in Boozgate !!!
-
Glad to see we can have a different opinion. The fact is you are trying to argue that the TA on a whole are not Rangers haters because you met a couple of Rangers fans supporting Scotland,do you have hard evidence of that ? . I have witnessed/experienced/heard the hatred of Rangers players during a Scotland game,I don't have any pics or didn't record it so I don't have hard evidence so you'll just have to take my word for it. Maybe the fact that you are living in Holland you don't get to hear much of this anti Rangers agenda, however I'm sure you heard the TA booing BF & Shagger when they were out warming up before the Holland game at Hampden, before the two finger salute. Still, if you think the majority of TA don't hate Rangers, then you are entitled to believe what you want,as there is no hard evidence that you keep harping on about, I have my ears for my hard evidence. And this is not just a new thing,it's been around for years.

Ally McCoist today gave the strongest hint yet that Rangers will unleash the full might of their deadly twin strikeforce Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller on Celtic on Sunday. Notoriously cautious Gers boss Walter Smith often goes with just one player in attack in big games away from home ââ?¬â?? including in the Old Firm match at Parkhead. But speculation is rife he will stick with an on-form front line of Boyd and Miller which has plundered 12 goals in their last five matches. McCoist, Smithââ?¬â?¢s assistant manager and closest confidant, can see the Scottish champions lining up with their usual 4-4-2 formation at the weekend. He said: ââ?¬Å?I think thereââ?¬â?¢ll be a chance weââ?¬â?¢ll go with two of them, although weââ?¬â?¢ve not sat down with the gaffer yet and had a good chat about it. ââ?¬Å?Itââ?¬â?¢s probably too early to talk about teams just now, but the way Kris and Kenny are playing at the moment, it might just be them and nine others who start. ââ?¬Å?The lads are performing well, although the same applies to everyone in the team at present. Theyââ?¬â?¢re all creating chances and scoring goals. ââ?¬Å?Kris and Kenny are doing their bit at this moment in time and long may that continue.ââ?¬Â Speaking in the Rangers News, McCoist added: ââ?¬Å?Kris, in particular, has really pleased me. Letââ?¬â?¢s be honest, he has been different class lately.ââ?¬Â Meanwhile, Smith is hoping Steven Naismith could be fit to play for Rangers in the Old Firm clash ââ?¬â?? but DaMarcus Beasley and Kevin Thomson have no chance. Scotland front man Naismith missed his sideââ?¬â?¢s emphatic 4-1 defeat of third-placed Hibs at Easter Road on Sunday due to a minor knee injury he sustained in training. However, he trained at Murray Park yesterday and Gers gaffer Smith is even hopeful he will be able to feature against Dundee United at Ibrox tonight. Smith confirmed: ââ?¬Å?We have no new injury worries arising out of the weekendââ?¬â?¢s game with Hibs. The only injured players we have are Steven, Kevin and DaMarcus. ââ?¬Å?Hopefully, though, they will all be available to play for us when we play Hamilton in the Scottish Cup on January 10. Naismith is touch and go for the Dundee United game and Sundayââ?¬â?¢s game. ââ?¬Å?We are optimistic he will be involved in one or both of those matches. It is just a little bit too early for Kevin and DaMarcus, but they are not far away.ââ?¬Â http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/editor-s-picks-ignore/ally-mccoist-on-rangers-attack-strategy-1.995230

Allan McGregor: I never gave Tartan Army the fingers Dec 30 2009 By Keith Jackson ALLAN McGREGOR last night claimed he'd willingly take a lie-detector test to prove to the Tartan Army he never gave them the fingers during the Boozegate affair. The Rangers keeper is about to be handed an international reprieve by new boss Craig Levein - nine months after being told he'd never play for his country again in the wake of the biggest footballing scandal of the Noughties. As Record Sport revealed yesterday, Levein has officially invited McGregor, drinking buddy Barry Ferguson and self-imposed outcast Kris Boyd back into the Scotland set-up and wants all three to meet with him in January. McGregor is desperate to seize his chance for redemption and, during an emotional interview with Record Sport yesterday, has opened his heart on the biggest mistake of his life. Some Scotland fans have not forgiven McGregor and Ferguson for the all-night bender on the banks of Loch Lomond at the end of March or, more importantly, for the gestures that followed as the axed pair sat flicking V-signs form the Hampden bench at the Iceland match. But while McGregor is still mortified by his own stupidity he is also adamant the fans were not his targets. The 27-year-old, who has won just four caps, said: "I'm not a bad guy - anyone who knows me will tell you that. "But that night at Hampden I felt I had been thrown to the wolves if I'm honest. "The whole Boozegate thing had not been well handled and Fergie and myself felt we were being hammered for something others had been involved in. "Then we had to sit there with 300 cameras pointing in our faces. And that's when it happened. "It was an act of stupidity and I regretted it as soon as I saw the pictures the next day. In fact, I've regretted it every day since then. "People think we hatched it between us in the dressing room as some kind of way of sticking our fingers up at the whole country . "But that's honestly not the way it was. It happened at the spur of the moment when we were sitting there with all the cameras flashing. "I can't even tell you what was going through my head at the time. It's impossible to explain unless you were there, in that position. "But I can say this with my hand on my heart - the V signs were not meant for the Tartan Army or for all of Scotland. "It was just a stupid, childish reaction to the situation we were in. If I had felt that way about the fans I would have walked out into the centre circle and stuck two fingers up there. "What else can I say? I'd take a lie-detector test if I could - that's how strongly I feel about it. I wish I could turn the clock back. "We all make mistakes in life and I'll probably make a few more before my career is over. But I know I'll never do anything as stupid as that again."
