At the end of the day I don't want to lose any players just now as we have built up a bit of team spirit & momentum,piggery game aside, but most of our best performances have happened when Mendes was out of the team. I am not a fan of Mendes as he hides in most games and only occasionally produces a special shot or pass now and again, I would rather see a younger player get more game time and I doubt whoever came in would not do any less than Mendes. -

Agree on that Frankie,if selling Mendes or another meant keeping Boyd then I'd settle for that,I just don't want to lose any player just now as we are in a strong position regarding winning our SPL title again

Correct mate,and the result at the piggery shows that we are in a strong position to retain the title, but if we sell/weaken the team then it will be a hell of a lot harder,even the bank can see that

I've already posted in the Boyd thread, it wouldn't make financial sense selling any player in January,and WS keeps telling us we don't need to sell.The monies gained from the CL is worth more than what we could raise from selling players,unless of course we get offered huge amounts for players,which we won't. -
We keep being told by WS/Rangers that we don't need to sell any players in January,IMO it would make sense to keep all our players so we can attempt to retain the SPL and therefore get the CL money which is far more than we could get by selling any of our players ?, even if that means losing players for nothing at he end of the season.

Every time the ball was played up to Boyd he either never gave the foul on Boyd or gave a foul against Boyd,this played a lot on why we were under pressure throughout the game,as I said the ref got one call correct and that was the blatant foul on McGregor

Nothing new there,that could be a Rangers forum,all the comments we have heard on here. I suppose no-one will know if he can cut it in the EPL until he goes and try,hopefully he'll still be a Rangers player for a good few seasons more

A full strength Rangers team would have continued their recent good form with another win,IMO, however we will never know until we play them with our full team
