  1. I thought that was part of the reason for the proposed protest,at least that was what David Edgar said on the radio
  2. I understand how difficult that is BD. However how else are the fans who do not go on fans forums going to get the message?
  3. I would like to think that all the supporters clubs would be contacted for a start, and handing out flyers outside Ibrox has to be the most obvious way of reaching all/most of our supporters
  4. Arthur Numan,John Greig, I would have Souness, however we do need a high profile figurehead as has been said to unite & lead the fans as right now there is too much personal grudges between the fans groups,IMO, where as a high profile name, preferably an ex player, would get automatic respect initially.I also agree we need some clarity from Rangers before we can attempt a proper protest.
  5. Am I alone in thinking that the club are obliged to make some sort of statement as to what exactly is going on ?,this drip fed snippets here and there are misleading,it can't be too difficult to do ?.
  6. I think I'd rather start next season -10pts than lose the players quoted,if we keep these players then we might still catch up on the deducted points, without these players we would probably end up 10pts+ behind at the end of the season.
  7. Maybe it would be better if we went into administration and the end of the season ?,it would possibly make a take over bid easier,I think?,deducted 10 pts at the start of the season I know but it would maybe get us sorted out ?.
  8. As has been said,if we all knew what the feck we are supposed to be protesting at and if it is done as one group,YES.
  9. Yep, Davis for me again,he was all over the place making things happen. I'm delighted with his form as I have been one of his biggest critics in the past,we all knew he was a good player but I was always disappointed with his over all contribution in most games,he now seems to have sorted that out and is leading by example.
  10. There must be some sort of legal restraints on any take over bid being made public?,or whoever is supposed to be trying to take over are trying to get the club at the cheapest price they can?, I don't know much about it tbh,but as all Rangers fans it is really quite frustrating and worrying where our club is going.I'm sure the fans would love to help with any sort of protest or even financially, but we don't know for sure who we are supposed to be backing!!,it's all very well playing this secret/silent game but for the fans who are constantly kept in the dark about the future of our great club it's beginning to piss me off.If there is a consortium wanting to take over the club then just fucking get on with it. Confused and worried fan.
  11. Ach!,to many to quote,'' I've been a C****c season ticket holder for 30 years, you've no idea how sad I am,I am hurting deep down inside me'' Think the guy needs the help

Forza Today, 11:05 AM Post #1198 First team training [ * * * ] Posts: 162 Group: Members Member #23,749 Joined: 5 June 2009 Favourite all-time player Henrik Have not read the thread or any others, too scunnered to do so. Only we can find a way to complete arse this kind of situation up. Only thing I'll say. This is not a team. Collection of individuals that are superior to anything else in the SPL that cannot be moulded into a unit that can beat teams like Dundee United, Kilmarnock and Falkirk. I have deliberately thrown those teams together because it should not matter to us how good they are in comparison to each other. The point is we are man for man far better than anything they can offer and not being able to routinely whip these mobs is not only embarrassing, it is failure. Dropping 15 of our last 24 points tells you everything in a league of this standard. It is getting to the point where we can't accept much more. Kiss goodbye to your full houses by the way. We are out of the race. Nobody is turning up for games to watch Robbie Keane trying to ensure that we hold on to second place. From early on last night there was a horrible feeling about the place that we would make a backside of this new opportunity. Injuries may not have helped but again, team selection and substitutions are utterly bizarre. And what does McGeady have to do to get dropped/rested? He is so patently out of form it is painful to watch right now. Not that the rest isn't.

  20. RANGERS ace DaMarcus Beasley's £65,000 BMW has been PETROL BOMBED outside his home. The American winger, 27, was at the house in Glasgow's plush west end as the attack took place. It is the second time in 13 months that one his motors has been targeted. Last night a source said: "There is no evidence to suggest it was a sectarian attack, but it was the only car on the street that was targeted." The horrifying attack, described as "disturbing" by Ibrox chiefs, happened late on Monday night. Beasley heard screeching tyres outside his home - then looked out his window to see the blue 6-series BMW in flames. It is thought the attackers pulled up beside the vehicle and threw the bomb before speeding off. It comes after the Rangers ace's £50,000 BMW 650i was broken into and ransacked outside his home in December 2008. Fellow Gers Allan McGregor, Kevin Thomson and Kenny Miller have all had their cars targeted in the past. And a string of Celtic stars, including goalie Artur Boruc, have also been hit by yobs. Beasley, who joined Gers in 2007, has played in two World Cups for the USA - 2002 and 2006. Strathclyde Police said it was treating the attack "as wilfull fire-raising" and a probe was ongoing. A Rangers spokesman added: "This is a disturbing, deplorable incident. The club will do everything we can to assist police. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/news/2836876/Rangers-footballer-DaMarcus-Beasleys-car-is-fire-bombed.html

Member Member #1,555 Joined: 16 July 2005 Flynn 2 Feb 2010, 11:39 PM IMO what we desperately lacked tonight was somebody to glue it all together in the middle - a Neil Lennon, or a Lambert, and a Roy Aitken to drive them on. Ki and N'Guemo are good players, but too lightweight. It was a disaster waiting to happen tonight after all last night's euphoria, and realistically the league is gone. It would take a hun collapse of record magnitude, and without the distraction of European football, that will not happen under Smith. I don't say we should write the league off completely - at least until the next OF game at Ibrox. If we fail to win there, it's over and we should use the rest of the season to find a settled starting eleven. If we fail to significantly improve, it's thank you and goodbye Mr Mowbray at the end of the season. We shouldn't be writing it off at all. At least not when it is still mathematically possible to win. This is the problem, too many people are calling the team heartless and the manager clueless but they are not the ones throwing in the towel. Someone said earlier in the thread that bringing in Keane made us all believe again. Well, not me! I believed we could win this league before the signings and I still believe it now! Given the margin between us and them, it was never going to be easy and that would be the case even with the players we've signed, who have to get used to playing in the team no matter who they are! I won't bother listing all the chances we had, we certainly had enough to win the game convincingly, same story as with some of our previous games recently. I still believe, if we have the quality to make chances, we have the quality to score from them. It didn't happen tonigt but that doesn't mean we should be trowing in the towel. We have to beat the huns twice, something we will do if the game is allowed to be played fairly; we have already seen in the last two games v them that they cannot live with us and can only get points by being on the receiving end of some very dubious decisions. We can't control what the referees do but, if we do what we did in the last two games, and the correct and fair decisions are made, we will crucify the bastards! That brings us back to a four point gap. Someone said recently the huns don't drop points often. It still happens and can happen over the remainder of the season. We don't lose to Kilmarnock often, we still did tonight. There are a few twists yet I think. The problem is that too many people are too quick to concede. Me? I will never concede anything to those bastards! For anyone thinking it's "impossible", look no further than the 3IAR season. And before anyone mentions the huns being "distracted" in Europe, in 2003, when we were "distracted" by Europe, going into our last game with them at Mordor, we were eight points behind, eight goals behind and with a game in hand we were not guaranteed to win. We came back from this seemingly impossible position to force a last day decider. The huns, with their "distraction" were actually AHEAD! They actually still had a chance to win the title on the last day, they fell apart because we started winning and did not let up! No one can say this is impossible now, anything is possible. And, for those saying "a collapse won't happen under Smith without Europe", I doubt they chose to fall apart that time. I have every belief that when we start winning regularly, and we will, they will not live with that pressure, with or without Europe! The question is, and this is more addressed to all the supporters who were only going to turn up next week because we'd signed Keane, are you up for the fight? :walkon: HAIL HAIL

Too much chopping and changing tonight and it cost us dear!!!! Did Keane even train with the First team prior to tonights game!!!! McGeady has been rotten for weeks now and needs dropped.....these 2 gingies fae the van outfits put 2 men on him and he becomes a one trick pony that ur pub sunday 5's defender has in their pocket!!! Where was Crosas????.....Injured??? As a last throw of the dice, I would have punted on big Duncan, or even Sami (he would have been fresher than Camera) instead of bringing Brown on as a left back!!! How did Naylor get a start, I would have played the same back 4 as Saturday. The whole captain thing is a total joke!!! TBH I think Mowbray's to blame this time, there's no leadership. If Mowbray wants to have a fighting chance of staying clear of the dole que, he needs to go an buy Sir Alex-esque hairdryer and boot some arses!!! He also has to keep the whole first team squad hostage in Lennoxtown till they get the basics (passing, shooting, tackling) right!!!! The huns must think were the biggest laughing stock going!!!! It's going to be a mega bleak summer when the huns have their 10m courtesy of our failings, their automatic champs league place, the prospect of new owners, the prospect of blue chip signings etc etc,.........all this as all our loan signings check out and the gospel according to John Reid and Desmond etc is that we're pratted due to these loan guys wages and Mowbrays pay off fee, not to mention any compo fee for our future manager!!!
