There were Rangers fans who broke the silence,I was disappointed at that, yes a few of the BHEASTS started shouting but the Rangers fans should have held their own silence and boo them after the silence, the Rangers fans who booed during the silence let themselves and Rangers down IMO.

It could also be the fact that that mob are shit scared of him and therefore he gets closer attention, as I said I thought he was unlucky yesterday and played well

Cheers for the pics BD, the displays were excellent by the fans so well done to them again.

Agree with a lot of that,Boruc did excellent to stop him scoring just before Edu scored the winner, the other chance he had when he went round Boruc was a tight angle, down to Boruc doing well again.Maybe he's just unlucky against them as he seems to play well enough as you pointed out with the terrific through ball he played to Miller

A SICK Celtic fan taunts brave Falklands hero Simon Weston - by waving an ARGENTINA shirt during yesterday's Old Firm clash. The vile stunt came as war veteran Simon - who suffered horrific burns in the conflict - was a guest of Rangers' charity at Ibrox. SIMON WESTON Guest ... hero Weston Furious ex-Army major Mike Rumbles MSP said: "It is totally unacceptable. This mindless rivalry between Old Firm fans has now hit a new low. This is deplorable." It's claimed other Hoops fans heaped more shame on their club during their 1-0 defeat by chanting the name of the South American country and waving its flag. Former SAS commander and top civil servant Clive Fairweather said: "It is very extreme and disappointing." And Stephen Smith, of the Rangers Supporters' Trust, added: "It's a disgrace that this abuse was directed at one of the country's war heroes. "There's no excuse for this type of behaviour." Hero Simon, 48, suffered agonising burns to almost half his body when his ship the Sir Galahad was destroyed by an Argentinian bomb during the 1982 conflict. He was the guest of honour at a special Rangers Charity Foundation's lunch the day before the Ibrox side's 1-0 victory. Celtic fans had claimed earlier this week that his appearance was deliberately designed to provoke them. One poster on the Celtic Supporters' Association website wrote: "This is a decision taken at the very highest level hoping to get a reaction from the Celtic fans. "Why didn't they present him with a jersey the day before Remembrance Sunday?" Celtic fans were also blasted for not respecting a minute's silence held yesterday for former Ibrox keeper Gerry Neef, who died last week. Rangers supporters' chief John Macmillan said: "It was a tiny minority who broke the silence but that is all you need." http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/news/2872402/Celtic-fans-sick-Falklands-War-stunt.html

Cheating is Cheating Prior to the game I wrote my piece here and Celtic complained officially. The outcome ââ?¬â?? cheating. For any lawyers reading, Iââ?¬â?¢m not libelling the ref. Itââ?¬â?¢s systematic cheating sanctioned by the SFA and acquiesced to by the biased Scottish media. At the end of the game today Kenny Clark on Radio Scotland again trotted out the most facile of statements used after such occasions; "apart from the sending off of Brown, and Bougherra staying on the pitch and the penalty denied to Celtic the ref had an excellent game." YOU ARE AN ARSEH*LE CLARK!!!!!!! Before I switched off I heard comment from pundits that Celtic didnââ?¬â?¢t deserve victory, and perhaps Rangers just edged it, especially the way they played in the last 30 minutes ââ?¬â?? aye how they played once we were down to 10 men. How would the game have gone had we been given our first half penalty and Bougherra was sent off? Very different I would suggest. By common consensus in the media we should have had 3 or 4 pens in the first game at Ibrox and Lafferty should have been sent off. By common consensus our opener at Celtic Park should have stood and Lafferty should have been sent off. Now by common consensus Bougherra should have been sent off, we should have had a penalty and Brown shouldnââ?¬â?¢t have been sent off. Three games, three times common consensus says Rangers got all the match determining decisions in their favour. Common consensus tells us weââ?¬â?¢re paranoid ââ?¬â?? That doesnââ?¬â?¢t stack up! Every season the press in Scotland discuss the poor quality of refereeing, phone after an old firm game however and youââ?¬â?¢ll be told that, apart from (substitute whatever decision Rangers got in their favour ââ?¬â?? penalty, goal chopped off, sending off), the ref got all the big decisions right. NO HE DIDNââ?¬â?¢T ââ?¬â?? THE ââ?¬Å?APART FROMââ?¬Â BIT WAS THE BIG DECISION!!!!!! This season we had Jim Gannon arrive and tell us that Scottish refââ?¬â?¢s are useless, the press all agreed. How refreshing it was to have a manager speak openly and frankly about the failings of officialdom in Scotland. This led to conversations about how poor our officials are, you need look no further than the fact that none were going to the world cup. Then something happened and the press turned against him. Maybe Iââ?¬â?¢m paranoid but the change in attitude seemed to change when he mentioned poor refereeing in the first Celtic v Rangers game at Ibrox. Gannon stated that poor refereeing such as the decisions at Ibrox could alter the course of the title race. To mention a recent quote ââ?¬â?? after that the forces of hell were unleashed upon Gannon. Discuss bad refââ?¬â?¢s sure, claim that one team doesnââ?¬â?¢t suffer like the rest and the attitude is very different. Did our performance today merit a win? Probably not, but sendings off and goals change games. Who knows what would have happened is theyââ?¬â?¢d been reduced to 10 men and the penalty had been given. The first game of the season was even, so with the added advantages of referee decisions Rangers win. We destroy them at Celtic Park and the game is drawn. Even again today and the decisions push them over the winning line. We should be better than Rangers and shouldnââ?¬â?¢t be so far behind them in the title race, but we also shouldnââ?¬â?¢t HAVE to be 1 goal better than Rangers just to get a draw. I know some others see differently, but I stated last time that it was time for a UEFA enquiry. Personally I subscribe to the Davie Hay approach to cheating by officials. Remember the League cup final when Shepherd was initially sent off and Hay wanted to take us off the pitch? If they wonââ?¬â?¢t play by the rules, I wouldnââ?¬â?¢t play at all. Itââ?¬â?¢s time that we had some real balls on this matter. Were I Reid Iââ?¬â?¢d be standing outside the SFA offices at Hampden at 8:55am tomorrow demanding my meeting. Iââ?¬â?¢d refuse to play Rangers again until non-domestic officials are appointed. Itââ?¬â?¢s time to get the boxing gloves on and get ready to fight for our corner. No matter how you dress it up, cheating is cheating. Cheats cannot be allowed to win. http://www.celticunderground.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=213:cheating-is-cheating&catid=37:season-2009-2010&Itemid=65

Member Member #504 Joined: 15 January 2005 Favourite all-time player Henrik Larsson To be honest, I just want to get this season over and done with. AFAIAC the huns now have got 2 in the bag and are going for a treble. Can we now stop that? HTF has a team as bad as the huns gonnae go and get a treble?? It shows the bad state of Scottish Fitba. As for today. The ref (again) was a joke. The red card was NEVER a red card. To send one player off and not ever show a card to the other is a joke. It was handbags, and any decent ref would have taken them aside, spoike to them "Get a grip guys! Cool it!".... The Ref showed a lack of ability to actually do what he did. I always felt that the first goal would be the winner, and to be honest I thought we had a chance at 0-0 with 11 men, but going forward we never ever created anything. We h ave a distinct lack of teeth in the middle of the park, and when Brown shows a wee bit, he gets punted. In a similar token, Bougbherra was allowed to boot Keane all over the place. If we had a captain, he would have saw this and nailed Bougherra and took the booking for that. What would ROY Keane have done had he been in there today?? We dont have that authority in there. Of all the central mids we have, none of them have the air of Captaincy about them Fortun© has to hit the target with that chance. He created it perfectly, but not hitting the target was a joke. Also the free kick from Keane when Kamara was fouled HAD to be drilled like Alan Thompson at Anfield IMO. McGeady was a waste of a jersey. If he was ill and the fact he rarely shines at Ibrox, I wouldnae have played him. Bonus points, are that The Young Centrebacks look the part. Early doors with them , but they look the part. Artur was again back to his best. Superb. I want the huns in the next round of the cup. Get them out the road, and let us aim to get somethingout of this dreadful season. furitza67 Yesterday, 10:30 PM Post #842 Member Avatar First team training [ * * * ] Posts: 234 Group: Members Member #24,731 Joined: 1 November 2009 Favourite all-time player Paul McStay At least in Egypt the fans have the courage to follow their convictions and challenge the neutrality of the refs . They bring in foreign refs because they accept that cheating goes on! Cant possibly happen in this hun shampoohole of a carrotry ! I'm giving up my season ticket unless we begin to fight back ourselves ! Maybe DD accepts that we should get shat on ? Well, maybe in Ireland but this is Celtic ! Member Member #497 Joined: 14 January 2005 The sending off was shocking. Just exemplifies the extent of the corruption that pervades Scottish football. However, we were nowhere near good enough to win today. One Fortun© had a clear cut chance - whilst the huns missed a plethora of chances. There was a serious lack of get up and go throughout the team. We were solid and no more. Where we go from here I just do not know. This is getting to look akin to a Barnes-esque disaster. We could lose the league by at least a ten point deficit.

Member Member #1,555 Joined: 16 July 2005 donkeyradish 28 Feb 2010, 10:43 PM Blaming the referees just gets tiresome. Yes we've been cheated out of a few points this season but it's not the only reason we're in second place. It's the combination of inept finishing and rabbit-in-the-headlights defending that has plagued us all season, and a management team that seem as much out of their depth as Barnes & Co. did a decade ago. It gets pretty effing tiresome to say the least watching us get effed over by the refs! Again! And it is significantly more than a few points. Had we got the two wins and a draw (7 points) we deserved in these derbies, we'd be five points ahead of the huns right now. Then you have the catalogue of decisions in games against the wee'er teams. The penalty the huns got for a foul outside the box when they needed a winner (90th minute v Hearts); the penalty we should have got near the end of the Dundee Utd game - it finished 1-1; the penalty we should have got v Hearts - we won 2-1 but a) that was still a diabolical decision and b) it could be constly if goal difference was to be a factor; the disallowed goal that would have put Motherwell 2-0 up v the huns - that game finished 1-1. :nono: And that is only ones I remember off the top of my head. I'm willing to bet plenty more can be added to the list. HAIL HAIL

Its hard to tell were we go from here, there will be a lot of hurt in this thread as i can imagine, "Mogga Out" will be coined im sure, i suppose people could be forgiven for saying such things, its not just a knee jerk reaction because thats 3 old firm games 0 wins and a helluva lot of controversy to boot, the SFA will be sniggering into theyre loving cup im sure, well donr Agent McDonald, you did your job, return to base

Bauhaus Yesterday, 3:33 PM Post #74 Member Avatar First team training [ * * * ] Posts: 188 Group: Members Member #25,511 Joined: 9 February 2010 Favourite all-time player Paul McStay If we complained about dubious refereeing decisions before this match, that well and truly took the biscuit. A stonewall penalty on Kamara turned down (in which Bougherra should have seen his second yellow), and an absolute joke of a sending off for Brown. Should we have expected anything different? As for the match, we were in control in the first half, without creating too much. The Huns came out of the blocks strongly in the second half, and Browns dismissal came at the right time for them, surprise surprise. There was no chance really of a victory with 10 men, and every Celtic player on the pitch must have known what was conspiring against them. We must now wave goodbye to the title, for definite. End of the day, they've always had refs in their pocket. Either bring the case directly to Uefa & get it sorted out once & for all or do what I'd do....hand in immediate notice that you're resigning from the league at the end of this season! Ask the English FA to join up with them. Even if it is a case of starting in the 3rd division or whatever, I'd take it.
