It seems the BHEASTS are planning some sort of protest  Topic Started: 26 Mar 2010, 12:19 PM (4,677 Views) Auldyin 26 Mar 2010, 12:19 PM Post #1 Member Avatar Getting on a bit [ * * * * * * * * * * ] Posts: 4,390 Group: Snr. Member Member #9,220 Joined: 2 July 2007 The message in green was taken from the Celtic Supporters Association web site. It was posted by The General Secretary a couple of days ago and what has changed since then makes it even more important we get behind Neil Lennon and the team on Saturday and thereafter to demonstrate our support. Now we have Neil Lennon in charge you would expect a bit more bite to our play so lets make sure the man in charge (Dougie McDonald) is in no doubt that we know him for what he is. As the post says this is a two fingered salute from the SFA to Celtic and the support need to organise a response not just for Saturday but a campaign until things change. The question is will we? This sounds like a rallying call to me, please pass it on. I sincerely hope that the Celtic support give Dougie Mc Donald the reception he so richly deserves on Saturday; a warm welcome should also be extended to assistant referee John Gilmour who infamously waved his flag to deny Motherwell a goal that would have put them two-nil up against the Evil Empire recently. This is a clear message from the SFA to tell Celtic that you can complain all you want, but there will be no change, and we will decide what happens within Scottish Football. They have decided against having a fair and transparent policy within the Scottish game, a game that is on itââ?¬â?¢s last legs, and depends heavily on the financial input of the Celtic support, they obviously believe that the game in Scotland needs a strong and successful Rangers team far more than it needs honesty and integrity. This is not a new phenomenon; this has been the case in all the years that I have followed Celtic Football Club. You could go back to the days when Bob Kelly stood firm against a demand to remove the Irish Tri-Colour from Celtic Park; or we could point to Jim Farry holding up Jorge Cadeteââ?¬â?¢s registration, a case that proved conclusively that there was institutionalised bias against Celtic. We could also look at the treatment of Celtic players, how many Scottish Caps did the Lisbon Lions accrue for instance? If that team had played in England every one of them including the Manager would have received a Knighthood, maybe that was a blessing in disguise. So what do we as fans do about it? We canââ?¬â?¢t keep rolling over, Iââ?¬â?¢ve never been one of these turn the other cheek type people, I believe in fighting for what is right, Terence Mac Swiney the famous Lord Mayor of Cork who died on hunger strike said ââ?¬Å?It is not those who can inflict the most, but those that can suffer the most who will conquerââ?¬Â by that he didnââ?¬â?¢t mean we were just to keep accepting what was thrown at us, what he meant was no matter how much you do to us we will overcome and prevail, and Iââ?¬â?¢m not trying to compare what was faced by the Irish people to what is facing us as Celtic fans. I think Saturday v Killie probably comes too soon to have a properly organised demonstration by the fans against Mc Donald and his assistants, and obviously their employers at the SFA/SPL, but Iââ?¬â?¢m sure a spontaneous reaction from the fans will suffice in the meantime. The most important demonstration must come at the next match against the Forces of Darkness, it must be both visual and vocal, and it must come from all sections of the stadium with the obvious exception of one corner where Scotland Shame will be standing, there are people much more experienced and capable than me who can organise this type of show, the Junglebhoys and Green Brigade for a start, all I am doing here is offering my support and calling on all fans to do the same, I would be happy to meet with anyone who can help, this must be just the first action in a collective campaign of support of our team, there are lots of very smart Celtic fans out there, and each and everyone of us has a part to play; no matter how trivial it may seem. I am sure that if we can stand together we can succeed in our drive to be treated fairly and justly within the Scottish game, while we are still part of it that is. Keep the Faith.

Which is why it's very important to get him signed up on a good contract,he is attracting attention from big clubs but he must realise is he is already playing at a big club and has the perfect stage to grow into a great CB. He will get a big move if he keeps developing.
-
Aye,Naismith was our best player today no doubt about it,MOTM, Wilson was excellent as well,Davis was excellent and Weir just strolls through games just now with ease
-
Maybe if we wrap this league up early then we should just play the reserves in the remaining games, especially the last OF game :spl:
-
That's my assessment of Little as well, maybe he will be our new CB next season?
-
I have yet to see what Little has in his locker,I'm not having a go at the lad here I just don't see what his skills are,I must be missing something
-
Is it really such a harder position? There's no doubt Fleck seems to be having trouble settling into first team football, but what is his best position? Wilson has settled quickly beside Weir, which Weir has to take a lot of credit for,IMO. I still think there is a lot more to come from Fleck, maybe if we can get this league sewn up as soon as possible he might get more game time until the end of the season which would obviously help the lad for next season

Celtic fans were today counting the cost of Tony Mowbrayââ?¬â?¢s disastrous nine-month spell in charge. It could effectively cost the Parkhead side Ã?£25million. The club is potentially 16 points behind Rangers in the title race and this seasonââ?¬â?¢s failure to make it through the qualifying stages of the Champions League left a gaping hole in its finances. Between Ã?£8m and Ã?£10m can be expected to be banked from the group stages of the Champions League and it is a problem Celtic will have to address again this summer. Even if the club hangs on to second spot in the SPL, it will face tough qualifying games to try and make it into the European group stages. Celtic paid Ã?£2m in compensation to West Brom to land Mowabray. It is believed he had a notice period in his four-year deal that means the club has to shell out only a limited level of compensation, but the tally to pay him off, as well as assistants Peter Grant and Mark Venus, has still added up to a further Ã?£2m. Mowbray has returned to his wife and three young sons in England after making a hasty retreat from Celticââ?¬â?¢s Lennoxtown training ground yesterday afternoon. The fact his family never moved to join him in Scotland suggested his time at Celtic was always destined to be for the short-term. Fansââ?¬â?¢ favourite Neil Lennon will assume control, along with former Celtic defender Johan Mjallby, and the move has been welcomed by supporters. ââ?¬Å?He is a guy who knows what the club is all about,ââ?¬Â said fan Paul Brady. ââ?¬Å?He has a bit of fight and heart about him and he might steady the ship until the end of the season. ââ?¬Å?The big fear after the debacle at St Mirren was that we would not even be able to beat Ross County in the Scottish Cup. ââ?¬Å?There is a question mark over Neil in that he has no senior managerial experience, but he knows Celtic inside out. ââ?¬Å?He also knows the players and will be well aware there have been a few of them hiding this season. I hope he will kick a few backsides and galvanise the side between now and the end of the season.ââ?¬Â The Celtic bus was met by an angry mob of around 100 fans on Wednesday night after their 4-0 defeat by St Mirren and while Mowbray jumped in his car, Peter Grant tried to offer an apology to the support for the shambolic display. Another fan, David Beattie, believed Mowbrayââ?¬â?¢s time was up and welcomed the changes. ââ?¬Å?Management, in any business, is about results ââ?¬â?? itââ?¬â?¢s as simple as that,ââ?¬Â he said. ââ?¬Å?Mowbrayââ?¬â?¢s results have not been good enough and that is why it was inevitable he would lose his job. ââ?¬Å?The important thing is to get someone in this summer who gets time to organise his squad before the Champions League qualifiers.ââ?¬Â Another fan, Paul Gillespie, 35, said at Celtic Park this morning: ââ?¬Å?I was at the St Mirren game and for me it was the final nail in the coffin. Mowbray was not a good Celtic manager and it was time he went. ââ?¬Å?If we get the right sort of manager we can still win the league. ââ?¬Å?Mark Hughes would be my choice. He has the right character and with the right resources would be a good manager.ââ?¬Â Celtic supportersââ?¬â?¢ chief Peter Rafferty welcomed the short-term appointment of Lennon and was philosophical about Mowbrayââ?¬â?¢s dismissal. ââ?¬Å?It was inevitable,ââ?¬Â he said. ââ?¬Å?It is no surprise because of the way results have been going. The St Mirren result was just one too far for many fans and the manner in which we were defeated did not go down well. ââ?¬Å?Lennonââ?¬â?¢s appointment gives the board the chance to get organised for the summer and get a manager in place who has plenty of time to prepare for next season.ââ?¬Â

Aye,I need to learn to say what I mean in short
-
HA HA, unbelievable
-
Agreed, I want him to stay here and flourish, which I believe he will next season
-
I'm not so sure about the loan idea tbh, obviously a lot will depend on what players are still here at the start of next season.I did expect Fleck to play more first team football this season than he has done, however I still believe he will play a part next season.

Rangers are not a boring, dull, anti football side,we all know that,it's just the MOPES that keep telling themselves that and so they are bound to believe it eventually,Monkeyheid only pandered to the BHEASTS in saying such drivel, a desperate man will take desperate measures.I don't think he really believes C****c played far more attacking/attractive football than Rangers, for me he was only trying to cover his own frailties as a manager and that's exactly what he is IMO,a poor manager
-
Have to agree with you when you say it seems to have taken a bit long, although I still put that down to his age,I have also always said you can see he is a player just with the way he takes a ball in and moves with it,he does need to improve his decision making, again I suppose that will improve with age and experience. If he realises his undoubted potential he will be some player,IMO,so I'm happy he has signed a new contract.
-
Surely the BHEASTS will be happy now that they have a '' C****c man '' in charge,in other words a wee bigoted thug

Ross County staged a dramatic late comeback to sink Hibernian and set up a Scottish Cup semi-final with Celtic.
-
I'll go for Weir, an ever present in the team and rarely makes a mistake so he is our most consistent player
-
Surely it is wrong to compare Miller to past players no?, comparing him to the players we have now and since he signed then IMO he has been a good signing
