The song is about the defence of Derry Protestants against an attacking catholic force. Cultural song and heritage. I think that was the opinion of a judge previously too?

Eh no, I was referring to UEFA and their Kangaroo court. They way they run their affairs would never stand up. It only takes a legal challenge of their rules to stop that. No right if appeal, selective punishment, employment of organisations with pre-existing agendas and grievances etc, we could go on. The perfect scenario is a wealthy or wealthy group of supporters? If the club do it UEFA have to exclude us, as per their rules. They are trying to expel us anyway so to heck with it. Again for the record, I totally agree with the sectarian shit having to stop. Let’s not confuse the issues; our house needs to get itself in order and the songs have to stop. However, I would like someone or a collective group to drag UEFA through the courts?

I would just say like to point out that if they expel us (I would rather we just said we are taking you to court) then we can focus on the league. The SFA/SPL will not find it as easy going after us, as the other lot can’t hide as easily. I consider myself as a moderate, and mostly not extreme in any way (unless I’m at the wind up?) but I have had enough. Take them to court and be done with it. They are attempting to blacken our name costing us financially. Therefore, grab it by the balls and take them to court. Get on top of it, and their corruption. We are dealing with our issues, it seems UEFA are intent on prejudicially attacking us in collusion with others. I just don’t trust some of our fans to keep quiet? I am also of the opinion they will stop at nothing now. Although the songs need to stop (and have stopped on Sunday) this is a witch hunt. I would rather we took the initiative and fought these corrupt gits!

Derry’s walls was defined by a judge as “cultural” I think (someone will tell me?). However, I completely understand your point. I personally think the time has come to take UEFA to court. Chances are we will be out before Xmas, and may be out tomorrow. Take UEFA and FARE to court and call out the corruption. If they are colluding to expel us anyway, then get the lawyers involved and let them exclude us for that instead. I’m not condoning the singing as that has to stop. However, there appears to be coercion, and perhaps insidious or more obvious forms of corruption, going on between organisations involved. We are being stitched up and it’s needs calling out.

I agree with FS here, but I also believe it’s a stitch up. It’s no coincidence that Liewell has just been appointed on a four man euro working group at UEFA. We need to get our house in order, but UEFA are stitching us up. That is so clear it’s right in front of us. They gave us no time to rectify a charge, before the same charge is again levelled against us? That’s may be correct in their rules, but it’s out with any parameter of fair play, and stinks of coercion and skullduggery behind the scenes.

She seems excellent at her job, has good relationships with the media and would bring a new enthusiasm without any baggage. What would you say on her suitability?
