  1. I have been wrong many times before and no doubt will be again but think RANGERRAB got the nail on the head which is why I think he will change the formation. I rate Forrester very highly, and again said last week I thought I was worse than was being admitted because of the hatchet job that was done on us:mad:. I would have went right at them 4-3-3 with Forrester in the side, just not sure if we have someone of that calibre to fill his boots so therefore may have to change the formation to suit what we have.
  2. It was just the formation I was toying with m8, agree Dom Ball a cert to start in front on back 4.
  3. Totally agree, which leaves us 4-1-3-2 Or 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-3-1??? My heads sore lol I fancy 4-1-3-2 with as I say Dom a Ball in front of back 4.
  4. He will surely play Dom a Ball in front of back 4, that would leave us 3 and 2, that was my thinking??
  5. I thought he was badly hurt last week and said so on here. This is a huge loss and that bitter c**t Macinally is to blame. No doubt in my mind he told his players to go out and injure us, he said so on ssn. However it would appear that nobody finds that disturbing?? Our plod for example are more interested in lecturing old firm players before a match that hasn't been played yet than bothering about a manager advising his players to cause physical damage to opposing team members!. Where do you start with that? Anyone else fancy a change in formation?? 4-1-3-2 now??
  6. It has been raining all day, more rain tomorrow and Friday. I am seriously afraid somebody is going to get badly injured on this surface over the weekend, especially after the bottom of the premiership and 3rd in the championship get to play on it first on the Saturday! This is madness, maybe someone could even tell me why these games could not have been played a week apart??? Or is it a case of that makes way too much sense? It would also have taken the pressure off police as they are always whinging how overstretched they are. We are a laughing stock, the pitch will be a minefield for the players and the whole of the world will be watching.
  7. Just got the end of all the thread as not been here all night. Going back to the OP I wholeheartedly agree with Walter, and I for one will Never Forget nor Forgive. It was great to see someone come out and back us(the club and its fans) up in the way he did. He was 100% correct about Scottish football and their perceived hatred of all thing Rangers, the sad thing is that even the fans of these clubs allowed their inherent hatred and jealousy of our club to take priority over the welfare of their own, as Walter quite rightly highlighted. This whole debacle has dragged their clubs and football in Scotland into depths I doubt it has seen for many a year. He was also spot on when he said it will never be forgotten and anyone thinking that our demotion, needless demotion, to the scrapheap of Scottish football, ever will be is seriously misguided. Of course their is bitterness, however it is also noticeable that Bitterness is highlighted regarding Rangers fans, I don't remember the magnification of "Bitterness" when 10 other clubs(Kilmarnock abstained) cast aside their own welfare to tray and kill us off by sending us to Division 3. As was suggested we just use all of what has happened to us as motivation to spur us on to title no 55. Never forgive, Never forget WATP.
  8. Not before time! Good move by MW, be nice to tie up Dom Ball for another year, I actually rate him quite highly, I think he would play a lot more games for us next season.
  9. Leicester last game v Everton at home were going for up to 15k(no shit!) a pair on ssn this morning, they highlighted it! There is always going to be someone looking to make a quick buck. I once sold my ticket to a guy I used to work with for a game at the piggery, charged him a couple of beers!??. Personally I would feel ashamed ripping off another bear!
  10. Maybe I'm being a bit thick but I thought we had done our 3 year disqualification period from Europe therefore any success in the cup would automatically put us in euro spot??? Is that not the case??
  11. Yeh guys, enough talk of toilets, we will have enough of that when we visit a proper "bog" twice a season next year lol?. A great day enjoyed by all, glad we came through it ok but just seen MW on ssn again and I have no idea how a pitch can be relaid in 5 days and then a Scottish cup semi on it 24 hours before the biggest game in Britain that week is broadcast worldwide and apart from us being a laughing stock already someone is gona get seriously hurt on that! MW mentioned that the powers that be may have to spend up to 7 figures to get the pitch right! Yeh, that would mean not lining their own pockets at Hampden so that ain't gona happen.
  12. I was in the process of chocking on my lunch there, looking around for someone to do the hiemlich(is that how u spell it?) manoover?. So cheers For the update Ian, you may also have saved my life?
  13. I would need to sit back and think but my first was same cup final v animal touchers winning on pens in 1987.
  14. Yeh, totally agree, if you are behind any of the goals you need a pair of binoculars ffs! Its ok where I was In north stand and I south stand too but in reality the place is a shithole, lets be honest, no concourse, when you go through turnstile its stairs and then its the seating area?? Who's idea was that for a National Stadium?? Who's pockets were lined?? The stadium was built on the cheap, the pitch is a heath hazard and the people left in charge would be better off in an episode of the muppets!!
  15. Good news Craig, I only got back 7pm so haven't seen any interviews(watching masters at moment) honestly, if we are all ok, we got out Jail today, enjoyed my day, lovely day out, that apart, pitch, stadium, referee...shocking. Well done to all the Bears for making it a good amosphere:champs:
  16. Forrester is a real worry, the referee was awful, no protection at all, they kicked the shit out of us all day and he did nothing! Is this the way its going to be, kick the shit out of us every week now, turn a blind eye because they tried to kill us off but failed?? Honestly, I was clock watching just hoping to get off their with them all in one piece, still don't know why nothing has been highlighted regarding that tit Macinally' comments on ssn??
  17. The pitch was abysmal!! If nothing else someone is going to get badly injured with their knee twisting and getting stuck. I thought it had been re-laid as well? It will still be like a combine harvester has just had lunch on it after their is a game played 24 hours before and no chance the grass has time to bed in. I just hope we got out of it unharmed? I cant believe their manager the soap dodger Macinally has not been reprimanded for his comment on ssn, I quote, "lets see how much they want to get hurt for it:wtf2:" whiitt? after watching that today, they went out to kick the shit out of us, the referee did nothing and after half time it was a free for all! I wonder what his half time talk was?? "games done boys, take out as many as you can"? Apart from that, great atmosphere created by over 46,000 bears,(we had good seats for a change at hampden, right on halfway line:rfc:) Att was 48,000ish, but the pitch is a huge worry for next week and the football we play, its a shambles and we will be a laughing stock again as its broadcast nation and worldwide:eek2: Bonkers. Anyway, good victory and the first trophy my Neice has seen us win, for an 8 year old she was doing the bouncy like everyone else, I seem to remember it not being as knackering years ago:rfcbouncy::laugh2:watp.
  18. The same as I always am, honestly guys, I'm usually sick before a game v the mhanks!! All kidding aside, think its just me, must be a mental thing, cup final in the head etc:facepalm: I will be fine after we are 2-0 up!
  19. Don't really know why lads but I'm feeling them today?? I hope its just pre match nerves and not some new for of tropical jungle fever, the likes of which has never been seen?? I expect its the former as since I was a boy before game v mhanks I usually physically throw up!! I live not far from Hampden and there has been fireworks going off already this morning, don't know who by? I expect its one of us??? Lets hope we get this one done and dusted before half time and start the party properly:party: as we will need all our mental energy for next week me thinks!
  20. I think providing the powers that be market it properly there is no reason we can't break 40k ST barrier, you would like to think that would be an achievable goal?
  21. Is Ya Ya toure not a free agent now?? Emoticons don't work on the phone properly, so for the record, I'm taking the piss. The best I have heard had been Jason Cummings from Hiv's??
  22. Anyone buying an ST for first time next year just coz we are back up should pay a 25% glory hunter tax as well! Lol??
  23. It's a fair point you make Craig, no doubt about it and a valid one, however your last point summed it all up for me " it depends on everyone's circumstances" personally, I don't believe, for many people paying, let's say £400 as an example, a hike of 25% over one season won't wash, a great point was made about our need for season tickets holders, would be great to get up to the 40k mark, I wouldn't like to lose 6k for example as your average guy with a mortgage n bills etc just thinks it's too much. I live alone now since the the missus passed last year and I guess any single guys, other men and woman with no responsibilities etc it wouldn't be a problem and yes I do see the benefit of it, I fear a hike of that magnitude would deter a lot of bears from getting an ST, especially those on tight incomes, as I say no matter how much they want to. We will find out soon enough, personally I would prefer a gradual increase over 3 years, but I'm not running the club lol so what I think means buttons?.
  24. The mhanks wage bill is £24m yearly and ours is around £7m according to recent press reports(u would have to check accounts to be accurate) that's the main reason their ST prices are the price they are. Paul Murray had already stated there will be no wild spending so our outlay in wages will say top £10m next year. I don't see them putting £100 on an ST, that would be commercial suicide as at the moment we have 36k ST holders and there will be a good number, no matter how much they want to, can't afford that. As I said I fancy 10% or thereabouts next year and providing we do well enough it will increase again the year after. I think we have to be careful with the pricing as people will translate into % and an increase of 20%, is way too high imo. Stage it, think like a business, there would be no harm for example, 10%-5%-5% over the next 3 years, it's good income and shows willing and initiative by the club.
  25. I will be the cheapest as I'm in family section at the moment. I have sat in both govan(sandy jardine) and Copland before and you pay more but this season I paid £312+£50 for my niece. As I say I will be the cheapest I think.
