No bother? I enjoy the debate?

Again Calscot, read my post, I didn't say fans were berating other fans, I said "however you can't start berating bears" I had intended this to be an abstract statement that hasn't come over as such, wasn't aimed at anyone personally. Everyone makes a good point on this, it's a very difficult argument to get across on both sides, especially when you bring kids into it and how folk chose to spend their money them. I have no qualms over how anyone spends their money. I will still buy a top for my neice regardless.

Rangers season tickets prices rise by 20% for 2016/17

Yeh mine came in, will need to go to TO at some point as want unwashed included. -
Calscot, nothing personal and maybe you need to read my post again, I'm not telling anyone what to do, that was the whole point of the post. Of course I'm aware we all express opinions, that's why I'm expressing mine. Tbh I wasn't pointing to anyone in particular, there are a lot of bears, who, as is their right, share your opinion, I however don't. We are an institution that is part of so many people's life and means so much to so many. If you want to go down your line of doing things that are harmful etc try being a kid who is told they can't have their idols strip because of the fat man. That's not something I want to do as I always take my neice to the games. Anyway, I go back to a personal choice, that was my only point.

On reflection in seems very reasonable. It could have been 30-35% and some were suggesting(myself included) 10-15%. It's a good source of income, and not to much as to hit the pocket to hard. I would also expect increases in double figures for the next couple of years though. -
I would never suggest to any bear or anyone for that matter, how to or not to spend their money. As everyone knows I sit in family sect so will buy my neice the top, probably one of the away tops. I'm not going to explain to an eight year old the complexities of the fat man's quagmire empire. Moreover I certainly won't impress my feelings on anyone else, it's personal choice. I know the boycott is there and understand why, however you can't start berating bears for buying merchandise if they wish, with their own hard earned money. It's not the Miners strike Ffs!

On Twitter that some Bears had renewals through?? I replied to mail saying I would renew online, has anyone had anything to their inbox?? -
Not sure why folk do it?? I don't know why we do it?? Ok, I will have to move to club deck with the neice for two games and apart from bleaching my seat on return, don't know what the problem is?? There is no way I would intentionally miss a game v the unwashed!

An Old Firm game that showed Celtic in its true light
cooponthewing replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
There is a tidal wave wave of financial turmoil being hidden at the piggery! They can't keep it out of the public domain forever, they have been able to use our circumstances as a convenient deflection tactic for a he last four years as their support is either willingly blind or unable to comprehend looking deeper into what's financially happening there! Their obsession with us engulfs their every waking minute. -
You would think with us being up next season, the sheep, Hearts and Hiv's(hope not!) would bring a decent support. Where do you u reckon we could seat them?? I can only think of the corner due to segregation? The filth game apart as they get whole of Broomy.
-
Completely agree on Hardie, impressed again from what I saw tonight Raith v Falkirk. Although only caught the end of it. Can't see the rest having much of a future in MW plans?
-
Evening lads! Not long back from game, it was one of those games where it's the end of a long season, players know the league is won, and I got the feeling just didn't want to get injured. The atmosphere was very flat too, except celebrations at the end. A strange day really and probably seemed that way for players and supporters due to the highs of the last few weeks. Terrible first goal again to lose, I missed the penalty as was in the bog and I reckon for me our two best today were Taverneir and wee Barrie, although Wallace was solid too. WATP.

Yeh, just picked up my breif for this game, players getting 3-4 days off immediately after game v St Midden then fly south for a closed door friendly v English Premiership outfit. No idea who though?? Then back and it will be a normal full week from the Sunday before the cup final.
-
I have to agree with Pete on this one, tbh i had thought that maybe it was just me so have not brought this up for fear of being shot down in flames lol. I have thought for the last month or so that we have been lacking in the final third, even going back to Febuary/March I brought this up when posting I thought waggy was tired. I am not complaining, we are a million miles ahead of where we were however we must continue to improve as we are only as good as our last match, standing still is not an option. I have said on other posts we need safer hands than Wes, he was and is a mistake waiting to happen and also slow, I have said this before as you can check, not just tonight. We all know the defence is awful, especially at cross balls and we have to remember we lost 3 goals again tonight. It doesn't matter now and I am looking forward to celebrating the title and hopefully get a brief for the cup final in ballot(Valium time again ffs:laugh2:) and we can win and look forward to Europe next year but we have to sort this out in the summer, if not we are in for a heck of a shock next year as we will get picked off easily. WATP.

well, thats that then. On to Saturday, hope we pull the finger out?? btw, I detest losing to that lot, they are the scum of the earth, and, for the record I personally don't want Jason Cummings anywhere near Ibrox, he has got arrogance and an unhealthy personality written all over him and oozing out his body language.
-
wee Barrie is putting zeros onto his price tag by the week!! What a strike!
-
This is just awful! The defending is terrifying:confused:

I have been thinking about this for a while as I brought this up a few weeks ago. Personally, I feel its a balance between showing that the supporters are appreciated and getting value and also bringing in welcome income for the team/business. I would probably suggest 10-15% in the first year(I said 10 before) and then stage the increases over the next 2 years so that in 3 years we have an increase of around 30-35% on where we are now. So in theory, if we were to win the league next year we could increase 15% now and then again 15% next season after winning premiership for example or 15% now and then an increase of 10 and then another 10-20% depending on weather we win league or not. Really there are many possibilities however staging a 30-35% increase over 3 seasons I feel would hopefully suit all parties?. However I'm not running a multi million pound business, so what do I know:laugh2:

Lol, there keeper is a tit as well!! Dodgy heroin on the streets of Edinburgh by the looks of it:eek2:
-
you have to be shitting me!!! what is the Goalie doing and where the f*ck are we tonight because we look tired and not up for it??
-
what are those two doing?? Looking at each other?? No guard of honour and no surprise there. Second class Junkies don't even respect there selves. We looked asleep for first 5-10mns.

We could debate all day, tbh imho we have been vilified and we all know there is perceived inherent agenda within the Scottish political establishment and media to undermine our club, our supporters and some would say religiously stereotyping and demonising our fans. This has socially spread like a virus down through the legal system and on into influential constants within Scottish society. I don't want to go on to much, as a forum is not the right place. I personally don't believe it will stop, will continue and progressively deteriorate. Where it takes us I don't know?? If I openly shared where I think we are going I would be accused of paranoia and sensationalising. Sunday was a disgrace, not for the banner, but the open way in which our society now accepts the blatant bias and following criminalisation of our supporters and anything connected with our club at any possible opportunity. While others are free to offend with impunity. Frightening! WATP.
-
Curious that such a child like mataphor should connect so well with the rabids tho?? Every picture tells a story and all that lol!
-
My 8 year neice is gonna miss the "Ronny Roar" she still looks for some animatated dinosaur on Cartoon Network!
