  1. He said Rangers fans were invading the pitch, curiously missing the thousands of Hibs fans wrecking the place, attacking players and causing social unrest on an industrial scale.
  2. Good piece by Bill Leckie, objective, truthful and bang on the money.
  3. Bang on MacK1950, it was 10 mins after final whistle after thousands were on pitch and attacking players TBB was sung.
  4. I would imagine if the club wished, a private prosecution could be indicated on several different parties. Hibs are liable for a start as it was they who issued 75% of their ticket allocation to fans who were not known to the club. The authorities for incompetent policing/stewarding and the perpetrators on the pitch themselves.
  5. 100% with Craig on that again. It's time to act.
  6. That's also a good point buster, I realise it's not a quick fix problem, however I feel we need to make a stand. What has to happen before we do??
  7. I hope after yesterday even fans who did still attend away games, I include myself in this, will now see the wood from the trees and realise we must act now. As I have just said to someone else, if we let this go, what has to happen before we collectively stand up for ourselves?? Players and staff being attacked and our support is somehow being help even partly responsible for the actions of thousands of Hibs fans!! A blanket request to all Rangers fans to stand up and not attend away fixtures is a start, do not give them our money or the chance to goad or criminalise us. The players will be ok, we must make a stand.
  8. On phone so can't click agree, 100% agree with Craig on that though.
  9. "Other moments had briefly marred the event earlier, with two flares in the Rangers end and a rendition of the Billy Boys. The pitch invasion cannot be dismissed as purely joyful, though, when punches were thrown and players and match officials had to be escorted from the field." The above comments are nonsense as I explained in the post re The Richard Wilson article.
  10. Re The Richard Wilson article and TBB being sung, please please don't believe his version!! TBB was sung approx. 10mins after the final whistle, the Hibs fans were already on the pitch, thousands of them, they had already attacked the players and were at this point at the other end of the park confronting the Rangers end. I know as at this point I had managed to pull me niece up the stairs through a pile of bears and was at the top watching. 10minutes after the whistle!! This is a stich up of the highest order. I am not condoning anyone, however the Hibs fans certainly did not come on to the pitch due to this. The song was sung at the west stand due to severe provocation from the Hibs fans who were already on the pitch, committed crimes and were looking to cause problems at the Rangers end.
  11. Nicola Sturgeon @NicolaSturgeon. Congratulations @HibsOfficial - my other half @PeterMurrel is just one of the thousands of happy Hibees tonight. #ScottishCupFinal
  12. Unbelievable we had the FM of this backward poisonous country congratulating Hibs fans and making light of this?? Please tell me everybody sees what's happening here.
  13. This is incredible!! Guys could have been carrying anything never mind throwing punches. Am I dreaming?? The media are really trying to condone this?? Blatant bigotry to the core of Scottish society and halls of power.
  14. It must be time that fans and club get together and plan our next move together. We all know this is going to be swept under the carpet and if someone was seriously hurt or injured in our support, nothing would be done. Six team players and staff have just been attacked for goodness sake!! Whats happening?? If we get the chance to move down south with this revamp, we must take it, don't look back and leave them to fight with themselves as we are no longer here. Until then we must take some action as a club and a support and stick to it. I am seriously concerned for the safety of supporters in this place, I won't wax lyrical regarding deeper social issues but we all know they are there. There are media and political influence's that are dehumanising our support, we need to collectively act together.
  15. Couldn't agree more D'artagnan. I have expressed my feeling on our treatment in other posts. You are spot on. We must act.
  16. Spot on about Ball, Tav left us badly exposed with no spare man at the back. I rate ball very highly, great player and just what we need.
  17. I hope I'm not wrong here but MWs point blank refusal to change his system is becoming a problem to the the point of being nieveity. I respect his footballing ethos but there are times when every team/manager must see that a certain situation or match deserves a different approach, surely that's part of the job.
  18. I suspect Frankie may be right. I watched the cover up/stitch up begin last night and went to bed. Disgusted but not surprised. Imho the only option we have, and for me it is the only option, if we get the chance take our club and money and get out of here. I lived abroad for a long time too, I only came back last year and this place has changed dramatically. The whole atmosphere of Scotland as a whole towards our club and community has become poisonous since the political landscape has shifted. The footballing authorities are unwilling or unable to do anything. We are at the point that if one of our fans was seriously hurt does anyone think the media wouldn't portray it as being their own fault?? I said last and will reiterate this will not get better, everyone surely must accept that? We can't change the political/media landscape. It's time we got out and left them to wallow in their hate filled cesspit.
  19. When all is said and done, six players were attacked/assaulted plus a staff member(Davie Weir) was attacked. These are worse than anything I've ever seen. It is not an outlandish proposition that the punishment for their fans criminal behaviour is exclusion from Europe for 1-2 years for the club. I'm sure similar has happened before in other instances where there wasn't players and staff attacked. The more I run it through my head the crazier and potentially dangerous it is. Those fans could have been carrying anything??.
  20. lol I thought those four were ok, then again I was in row c so couldn't really see much. Tavernier was awful, Barrie was poor, Waggy off the pace, Zalalem I don't see what others do, the two CHs are abysmal which is over 50% of the team that were shite. We deserved to get gubbed. All of that is overshadowed by what happened after. I have also just watched the ITN and BBC news, I can safely say operation stitch up has begun. Seriously for anyone that was there and knows what really happened, this is frightening. What will happen next?? The hatred is just stomach churning.
  21. I suppose the question to ask is if it were a cup final down sout or in Europe perhaps, what would be the outcome?? I don't think a ban from representing in Europe for the next season would be unpresidented? However I don't think they will have the trophy taken from them. Being objective, matters football related, they were by far the better side. Only Halliday, Holt, Miller and Lee Wallace get pass marks from me.
  22. I suspect there will be some action, although it may be minimal?. 6 players and a staff member were attacked after all, even the arse holes at Hampden know they would be ridiculed by the football world should no action at all be taken. They will have to be seen to do something, no matter how minimal. It would st a dangerous president if they did nothing.
  23. Mate, for all there may be an argument for it, there is no chance of it happening imho. Personally I feel they should not be afforded access to Europe due to the disgraceful scenes. I suspect it will all be a case of the usual gloss over that comes from the haters. Hence the debate on here tonight re things that run deeper than football.
  24. That's the million dollar question mate. It would seem we are fu*ked seven ways from Sunday. Just the way they want it.
  25. Completely in agreement Bearman.
